I needed a copy of a mailbox key from my building, went to Canadian Tire and they couldn't cut it, same at Home Depot and even at those automated machine at Walmart. Googled Locksmith in Durham and found the Lockshop, I went there expecting failed attempt or a very expensive key. As I walked in was greeted by a very professional gentleman, who right away knew it was a mailbox key and in under 2 minutes, maybe even less than 90 seconds, had the key ready for me. Price? Under $6.00. I was so happy with the service I decided to inquire about how much would cost to get a key programmed for my Mercedes (no actual key to insert) just out of curiosity for the future and this gentleman again, very professional took his time to check a catalog he has with all car keys configurations, looked up my car model/year, even tho he knew I wasn't getting the key at that day. I was very pleased with the service provided and will definitely recommend to friends and also come back in the future.

Our front door lock wasn’t working and we were locked out. Scared, stressed, and short on money due to the holiday season we didn’t know where to turn. We googled and saw this company had awesome reviews so we gave them a call. From the jump you could tell these guys are well experienced and aren’t trying to scam you out of your money. You could tell they just want to get the job done for you at a reasonable cost. Our tech arrived within 40 minutes and his smile, energy, and humour made our anxiety melt away instantly. Locked my keys in the trunk of my car, trunk release wouldn't work, and couldn't find my spare set. Called Hyundai, they told me there was no way to enter the trunk from the back seat. Prompt service & friendly staff. Got dinged hard for service call & labour - I wish they'd told me over the phone that they charged for service calls in addition to labour. (I figured there would be a labour cost, of course.) My fault for not asking, but the total cost for replacing a front door handle was $412. Ouch. Lesson learned on my end!
