Gamble Lock Door & Safe was able to field my call, set up a visit, and perform all the work in an hour. Ron the technician - the 'master' was professional, polite, and thorough. He really is a master at his job. He not only did all the work perfectly but tagged the keys for me, and, I could pay by credit card on the spot (very affordable). People like this are hard to find nowadays but if you need this type of service, my experience with Gamble was worth every penny.

Purchased a house and needed the locks rekeyed. This is a cheaper option than replacing the locks. Their charge was $20 if I brought it in, $110 for local service. I had a busy day so I choose local service. He arrive right on time - to the minute. The work was done well. He was clean and courteous - nothing to clean up. He also went the extra mile. I had a sticking door latch. He did some magic and it works well now. I appreciate doing the work as requested, and going to extra mile to fix the sticking latch at no extra charge. Thanks guys! Jason (from this company) was working on a series of doors in the building i was teaching theater movement in. It was great that he kept his work area so organized and neat because we had bare feet students walking in and out of the movement room. Recently had some Emtek locks installed at our home by Gamble Locks. Very happy with the installer Mike, he did a great job, and cleaned up after himself. I would of given 5 stars but despite having an appointment for 9am, the installer didn't arrive until almost 11. Other than that very happy with the locks, and the service.

Visited Gamble Lock, Door & Safe yesterday on the closing date of our new build home. I required all the locks to be "re-keyed" immediately. After speaking with Jason B, he understood our urgency and booked us for the first appointment the next morning. He was even willing to try and book a technician that same evening I came in, but we didn't get the keys from the lawyers in time. The next morning the technician, Jason M, was early and ready to help us out immediately. He was very professional, great demeanor, easy to converse with answering all my questions and had no problem letting me watch his work. Jason was efficient and in no time all the locks were re-keyed and we now feel much safer knowing there are no lingering builder keys out in the world. I will be changing some of the hardware on the doors in the future and will definitely be back at their show room to explore those options for our needs. Fantastic overall service and customer experience.

I originally put 1 star but communication is key to all transactions. Wanted to buy a safe advertised on their web site. When I inquired, was told I would get a call back. The pandemic caused some issues. When I finally was able to talk to the owner, we quickly arrived at a solution. Afterwards, their service was above and beyond. I will definitively go back in the future.

Stopped in last week with a vintage Weslock that needed a key. The two young gentleman explained that there was nothing they could do. The manufacture was out of business. The only alternative was to purchase a new one. Just for the heck of it I stopped in at Lovett in Alliston. They rekeyed it in 15 minutes for $15. I'm not sure what Gambles motive was. Trying to push product or lack of knowledge. You be the judge.

I like to be able to see what I am buying and Gamble lock is the only locksmith within 20 kms of Newmarket that has that ability. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and they carry more door hardware than any store in the area including the big box stores and better prices also. I had them redo my locks when I moved last year and they did a great job. Great Store... worth dropping in.

We are very un-happy with our experience with Gamble Lock, who was recommended to us. I had ordered a fob for my car, which required me to pay up-front and almost two months later, a few follow-up calls that we had to make to get information, we are just being told it is in now (oh, but we cannot pick it up yet...). They were very quick to take my money, but not so quick to fulfill my order. (coincidentally Honda has them in stock, and for a fraction of the price - live and learn). I will not use or recommend Gamble Lock and am advising the people that recommended them to us do the same.

No stars given to this company. The customer service is horrible. They never called to tell me the status of my order or even tell me that it was finally in. Had to wait 2 months for an overpriced key fob which was 35 dollars cheaper at the dealer and in stock. They would not refund my money even after waiting 2 months. I wound not recommend using them at all.

We have an after-hours drop-off area at our business and the lock was not working properly. Gamble was very quick to come and repair it for us when we called. They were very professional and understanding. We would have had to close this area until it could be repaired and it would have been a big inconvenience to both us and our customers.
