Stay away. OVER priced. Tried to charge my sister $340 ?! For a job that took less then a minute. . Called and asked for a quote on how much it was for a key lock out and they couldn't give an actual answer until the job was done?? She would have called someone else. Most places charge $35-50 for a key lock out place service fee. Could have got a whole ignition change for that price.

I accidentally locked my keys in my car and called this place because they said it would be a $10 service fee and $50. They said they would be here in 10 minutes but they took 40 minutes. Then they charged me $380 for a 2 minute job. Luckily my grandfather stepped in and talked them down to $140 which is still bloody ridiculous. If I could give zero stars I would. I'll never be using this service again and I highly recommend no one else does well not if you are a women because they'll take advantage of you.

They are SCAMMERS!!!! They cut my padlock and asking for $400 dollars. $35 for the service call, $279 for the service fee, and five mins work with $89 labour fee. For sure business like this will never allow the customer to pay the fee with a debit card or credit card machine. If you read the review here, please work away and do not call them!!! Last month I purchased a new house and wanted to ensure that I was secure. I called to Calgary 24/7 Locksmith to replace all the locks on my new house. The guys were very professional and knowledgeable. They just took one and half hour to replace all the locks. I am so happy with the fast and prompt services. A huge thanks for excellent, reliable and friendly services. I will definitely recommend this company to those people who are looking for reliable locksmith services.

Online they show 15$ service charge. I called them because my car was locked out. But in 5 minutes I called back that I don't need the service as I sorted the problem. This guy was on the way, didn't even reach my place but still charged me $42. He was also rude when I tried to make a deal because $42 just for stepping out of house is not reasonable. About an year ago, there was same situation with a different locksmith as well, they didn't charge me a dime. They get 5 stars from fake accounts and friends. Stay away from such ads and this guy in specific, there are several good locksmiths out there

They advertise really cheap lockout service. I asked several times before they unlocked my car and he unlocked it then negotiated a price starting at over $300. I argued the price and he kept dropping it a bit and finally paid almost $200. Be up front about you pricing and don't touch my damn car until I agree to pay you an amount. Would never reccomend this place. The guy was a total jerk about it and would not give me a business career anything.

I didn't research several locksmiths, and just called this one out of desperation. Called them, and they said 20 minutes and probably more with traffic, OK, benefit of the doubt, since the roads are not great. Luckily I could wait inside at my neighbour's condo. Two hours later, the locksmith finally calls. It takes all of 10 seconds to unlock my door (no damage to the lock, thankfully) and he says "that will be $486". EXCUSE ME? Clearly he sees my unimpressed face and says "because of the wait, I will drop by $100". I keep countering, because at this point I realize what a scam show this is. The wait was long, your service should not cost this much. My final offer I counter with $175 (begrudgingly, because this is still an absurd amount of money) and he accepts, luckily. (Imagine negotiating from $486 to $175? Clearly you are not good at your job!!!) It's way too much, still, but thankfully I can afford it- a privilege, which I recognize!!. Next time, I will wait the 4 hours until my partner comes home. Lesson learned.

HE IS A SCAM! BEWARE! I had locked my keys in the car, I called. It was 3:45 pm on a Friday. He told me it would be around $50. I'm on a limited income and figured the price was right. I have an easy car to get into. After he arrived, it took less than a minute to open the driver's door. Then he tried to charge me $180!! I told him I didn't have that much. 15 minutes of work cost us $600. Locks were ridiculously expensive and the guy wouldn't let us keep the boxes the locks were in. Probably so we couldn't look up the actual value of the locks. We got ripped off and the tech that came was not very friendly. He called 3 times to confirm address etc. And would basically hang up when he was done talking, making you think the call was dis connected.

I called Calgary 247 to help me when I locked myself out of my camper, the guy came to let us in then when we asked what the amount was he proceeded to mumble under his breath then tell me $180+ GST, umm pardon me? your website states that your prices are reasonable and some are as low as $10.00, I asked if he accepted a credit card and his reply was no cash only, hmm what if I didn't have cash, we were camping. He then would not present me with a receipt. I tried to email the company in regard to this shady transaction and guess what? the email address doesn't exist..shocking. I then proceeded to call them and was told by a fellow that I can't speak to a manager or supervisor they are not around until Monday, so I proceeded to ask him for an email that may work, he paused and then said he would look into it and call me back, never happened. I decided to call the Edmonton location to see if they could get me some information, to my surprise it was the same person that answered the phone, and then told me he was the manager and could assist me. while talking to him he kept backtracking and changing his answers to my questions. At the end of this entire run around I was still not given a reason as to why they would not give me a receipt why the price and why cash only. I would not recommend this place if it were the last place on earth. The best part about all this is the guy gave me a business card with no information other than a phone number and said "Call us if you need us again and it will be 1/2 price"

This is not a legitimate locksmith. They quote you a super low price and once they retrieve your keys they won't hand them over until you pay a ridiculous amount. Coworker was just quoted $10 0n the phone and the locksmith they sent refused to hand his keys back until he paid $150.

I do understand that it should before expensive since it was a weekend morning and an emergency, but 4x the average that is normally charged in emergency situation is simply taking advantage of other peoples despair. Be careful. Phoned during frigid weather as locked keys in car and it was running. Was told cost would be $15 plus $35 and up...well they tell you this cause the UP was WAY UP. Total cost ended up being $178. Best advice is to call someone else first. Also said he was coming immediately and took over 1.5 hours. Also didn't have debit machine so had to e-transfer payment. So office staff gives wrong info completely.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM I called because they advertised a $10 fee for unlocking my car door. They never offered a quote on the phone, even after I asked. When they arrived, they wanted to charge me $580! Absolutely ridiculous that I had to basically beg for him to reduce the price. Finally we landed on $130, which is still insane for a 5 minute, easy job. I will NEVER use this company again, they are unprofessional and try to scam their customers. Total scam. They take advantage of you being desperate to get your car unlocked. It took him about 30 seconds to unlock the car and he wanted to charge $140 saying it was an “emergency”. How do they determine if something is an emergency or not? They are awful, they want to scam you. Avoid at all costs.

Read the reviews and trust them. This company is a complete and total scam preying on people in vulnerable situations. They will be purposefully obtuse and vague and then $400 later will act like you are the unreasonable one. You will either be quoted wrong or not quoted at all until the job is finished and they will demand payment, which, as all the other reviews tell you, is exorbitant. Get your own hex key and screwdriver and save yourself hundreds of dollars.

Then after the car was unlocked (which merely took minutes the man said it would be 380. I said no I asked on the phone and went downstairs but I finally paid 180 as I didn’t know what to do it was 10:00pm. The person who showed up is one of the men in the pictures with good up and headlamp on. He worse a mask so very hard to see and was in an unmarked veichle.

I was happy with my technician but EXTREMLY DISAPPOINTED with pricing advertising and quoting compared to what you pay. Online it says $15 service call and price for a mailbox starts from $19. I was prepared to pay up to $100. I was not informed that it would cost me $300 for 10 minutes of work. This is absolutely horrific. Safe to say I will NOT be using this service again.

All I can say is "bullet dodged"! I was in need of a locksmith and this was the first place I called because it popped up as a promoted google ad on my phone. Feel free to read the rest of this review if you are in the mood for a short story. I called the number on the mobile site and an aggressive representative picked up the phone. All I wanted was a cost estimate before committing to a booking. I had to ask 3 times before I was told the base callout cost is $15. When I asked a follow-up question about how much extra it would cost to actually perform the work (unlock the door to my garage), I was told "It depends, the technician will tell you when he is on site". That's a big red flag. No way anyone should have to pay for a callout before they get a quote. When I said I was going to hang up and get another quote from someone else, the representative changed his tune: "How about $120?". I said it was too expensive and he said, right on the spot, "How about $80 cash? I can talk to the manager and he will approve it.". Sketchy! At that point I had no more interest in continuing the conversation and thanked him for his time. He threw one last curve ball at me: "How much is the most you are willing to pay me?". I told him $60. He hung up on me.

I would've given zero star if I could. One of the worst experiences of my life. Was charged $400 for a 30 second job by this scammer who took advantage of me with a baby in an unfortunate situation which is completely despicable. I should've known better to argue or call the police instead of paying him what he asked. They never respond to phone calls or emails once they get paid. Their website is a sham saying their prices are as low as $10, and they just prey on people in desperate situations who did not have time to look up Google reviews or know what the typical charges should be. The add on google says $10 - car unlocking so I clicked the phone number. The man on the phone says he will send someone immediately and does not give you a quoted price. When he arrived in an unmarked, no business decals RAV-4 I was a bit suspicious. They use the balloons to pop your door open and hit unlock. He then tried to charge me over $400 for an emergency call (which I did not request). I ended up paying $200 as I wasn’t about to get in an altercation with this guy when I was alone on the street. Absolute scammers.. do not call them!

Was given a quote for around $50, after not coming to the first appointment and being 3 hours late for the rescheduled appointment the technician goes and charges 220 for literally 5 minutes of work which the girl friend paid unknowingly. Very bad service, I was given no real explanation on why the quote was so different to the price, management did not care once they had our money and repeated that to me. DO NOT USE THIS LOCKSMITH. Remarkably bad experience. The technician arrived and opened the locked door immediately. It must have been a battery issue and he got lucky. The door lock still does not work, but he did open the door... He then demanded to be paid a crazy fee in cash immediately for showing up. $50 appearance fee, $50 for turning the lock. He did not fix anything and the lock on the door still does not work. He irritably demanded that he be paid immediately so he could leave. I have no idea what I paid him for. He would not give me a receipt or invoice. Avoid at all cost, this company is a scam.

The owner Max is a professional liar, aggressive, disrespectful and arrogant. He pretends that the connection is off and hung up the phone on you! Unbelievable we need to deal with this type of humans right now. They don’t have prices available for services or products. They come late, they pretend their debit/credit card machine doesn’t work, so you pay cash. This is the WORST company ever. READ THE REVIEWS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM. The $15 is a JOKE the whole deal is to try to make you believe that you need to buy from them for they products, which are marked 1000% above market value and then overcharge HUNDREDS more for “labour” (5 minutes work): PLEASE RUN for this joke place that doesn’t deserved to be called “business”..

Advertised price was $15 dollars. I called and asked for a price and was told it would depend on the type of lock. I agreed as that seemed reasonable and I expected to pay as much as 30 dollars if it proved to be an extremely complicated lock. The person came very quickly and unlocked the car and then when it came time to pay, he said it would be over 300 dollars. I brought the price down to 105 however felt the behaviour was very unprofessional since it was several times the quoted price. I feel it is my responsibility to write this review to protect other people using this service.

Scammers!! I locked my keys in my truck and they came and unlocked my truck in 30 seconds, I retrieved my keys and then he handed me a bill for $385.00!! I told him I absolutely won't pay that! Then he said $285.00 and I again said I won't pay that!! Then he said $120.00 and I told him I will not pay more than $75.00 and I already have my keys so he'll be LUCKY if I pay ANYTHING at this point!! So I paid $75.00 plus GST. Do not use this company!!

Called them and they came right over which was great. Unlock took 30 seconds at 7pm on a Monday night. Originally the guy was going to charge 500$ and then dropped it to 285$… insanely expensive and would not recommend.

I locked my keys in my car and called these locksmiths, and unlocked my car promptly in the next twenty minutes- very speedy service. Then, they tried to charge $375 for the "emergency" unlock. When I disputed that I never said this was an emergency, they offered $280, and then $240, and then $220, and then $180 as I argued them down to a reasonable price. I wish they were upfront about their costs and not have to haggle about the price.

Had my keys locked in the vehicle. Technician came out quick and did the job professionally and quick in about 10 mins start to finish. When it came to the bill, he wanted $380 off the hop. That's a $2,240/hr rate (~25x AB journeyman rate). Would've been cheaper to break the window and get the keys out myself. Finally talked him down to $100 after being a little firm. Definitely wasn't expecting this as they advertise for substantially less. Stand your ground when pulling out the wallet because these guys will empty it if given the chance.

BEWARE! 100% a scammer company. My wife called them and we gave them the model and make of our car. We're told on the phone that it would be $15 + $35 for service and they'd be at our home in 20 minutes. Over and hour later, a guy shows up, looks at my car and says it'll probably be close to $170. Having been in this situation before, I can tell you unlocking my car from another company doesn't cost nearly this much. The manager then phones and says I need to give his locksmith money and then starts telling me perhaps he can make some accomodations if I give the locksmith cash. I declined and asked for a business license number and he refuses to give me any information. Very sketchy company, avoid at all costs.

DON'T! Wow, extremely not satisfied. Called them to get my car door opened so I could search for the keys. The men forked me the bill of $300!, Pressured me to pay before I could go in and search and left immediately. I ended up finding no key. I called them back to see if I can some of that money back but to no avail. Now I just called a service that we'll make me a new key all for the total of $120. Sigh. Serves me right for not looking at reviews before hand ????????

MASSIVE SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS It's takes a lot for me to right a review, but this is just a blatant scam. I had locked myself out of my house and couldn't access my phone to read reviews or else I would have seen the negative posts on this so called "company". Quickly borrowed a neighbour's phone and came across his website and proceeded to call him (number listed on website rerouted to another number entirely - first red flag). He refused to quote over the phone and said they could be there in 15 minutes. Locked out of my place with no time to review options on a Sunday I agreed to it. He came over, attempted to pick the bolt lock (which doing after the fact research he should have been able to do), and then proceeds to cut off the lock and replace it. From arrival on site, the whole process took ~15 minutes. He proceeds to tell me that the "Sunday rate" is $550, but he can give me a deal and do $400 ($220 for service and $180 for the "fire rated deadbolt"). I was shocked but unaware of what the service cost and begrudgingly paid. Receipt came through as Quick Quality Locksmiths (another red flag). Did some research once I was back inside on some of the reputable shops and got quotes in the $100-150 range (which was my initial guess). Inquired about the deadbolt and the other shops/hardware stores all have them listed for $30-50. Got pretty angry at this point and proceeded to call the number back. He refused to give me his name or even confirm that his company did the job for me. When I pressed him about the cost of the deadbolt he said that he charged more for parts since he was a mobile service (Aren't all locksmiths? And isn't that what the service charge is for?). After going back and forth with him and threatening to report, I finally got him to refund me $100. Still paid an astronomical amount for this guy to run his scam. Do not use, the quantity and similarity in reviews speak for themselves. Will 100% be filing a legal consumer complaint. Really hoping that this scam doesn't hurt anyone else.

Was quoted a much lower price over the phone. Was told he would arrive within 20 minutes. Over an hour later someone finally arrives. He had my car unlocked in under a minute and proceeds to ask me for $380. I said that's way too much, he then asks for 280, I say no again as I was quoted much,much lower. He says $180 final price. I called awhile later to get a quote and he tells me he will do the same vehicle for $100 so I ask him why I was charged so much more? He starts to berate me, says he will not refund a cent of my money and never call this phone again. SCAMMER Avoid at all costs or pay the massive price

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I wish I had read Google reviews prior to calling this scam artist, but unfortunately I was upset about being locked out of my car and not thinking clearly. Like others, I called and asked for a quote to unlock my doors. I was told "it depends on the mechanism" He was only about 10 minutes late when he arrived, which is the most positive thing to come out of this whole scenario. He pulled up in an unmarked SUV, no uniform, nothing. He pulled out two air pumps, a wire coat hanger looking thing and had hit the door unlock button. Total time he was there - maybe 3 minutes. This man then told me my charge would be $400 but because i waited, he would be so kind as to discount my charge to $300. I too was told that it was so expensive because it was an "emergency". I had never said the words emergency, but being a female alone in a parking lot I didn't feel like I could argue. Absolutely disgusted. Will tell everyone I know to avoid this company.
