My Jimmy had broke down Sunday April 14 I called auto spa they said the tow truck would be about 24 minutes he showed up in about 15ish minutes. Called auto spa to move my husband's Dodge Charger to our new house. We haven't run it for about a year so I know it will be challenging and also since the car is kinda low so I was getting concerned. Jason came to the rescue and got the job done with no problems. He was super helpful, friendly and went way above and beyond to deliver excellent service. He also gave some advice about the car and what to look at to get it up and running soon. It was a very pleasant experience today despite of the scorching heat. We will definitely call Auto Spa Towing again in the future if needed and will ask for Jason! Thanks Jason, excellent job!

They told me over the phone they would tow my car that broke down in the middle of the intersection in 1 hour. In 30 minutes I called back and they told me I was next in line for a tow. I waited at that intersection in -30 C for 3 hours!! I had to get someone to push my car out of the intersection and into a 30 minute parking spot. When Mike D. finally came to tow my car he was apologetic and kind. I just wish the business would communicate the proper wait time or call me when there is a delay.

I never had a vehicle towed by Auto Spa towing, as I prefer to use professionals. I did however, have the opportunity to watch them in action. I drove an acquaintance to their yard to pick up his diesel truck and watched as they tried to start it, in the winter, to no avail. The owner of the truck kept trying to let him start his own truck, but they said they could not allow him into the yard, for insurance reasons. After about 45 minutes of trying to start it, they succeeded in burning out the starter. They then allowed him into the yard and offered him a used starter which he could take off of another truck and put on his own. (It was about -15 at the time) The starter they offered was off of a gas motor and would not have fit. They then generously offered to tow his truck to his place for a fee. Not very nice or knowledgeable people.

Jason from Auto Spa arrived quickly and tried to boost the truck using one of the batteries, but a second booster was required. While towing a heavy trailer across the country, one of its bearings broke and we lost a wheel. We called Auto Spa Towing and within a half hour they came to our rescue. They loaded up our heavy trailer onto a flatbed truck and towed it into town. The service was fast and very professional. 130 years of service and treating your vehicle with the care it deserves. NOT OUR EXPERIENCE. Camping at GasCity, a annual favourite. Our truck would not start. My wife called AMA. Before towing company arrived I started the truck. I explained the situation BUT the operator was only interested in selling a tourist a new battery. He neglected that the truck started and quickly said the one battery needed to be replaced. ? Truck started but battery needed to be replaced??$220 later he was gone, not checking AMA membership or ID. One week later while camping in Mossleigh, same problem. Managed to take the truck to Advantage Ford and it took little time for the diesel mechanic to say it was NOT the battery but the starter.Auto Spa with 130 of service. ?? Mechanic knew we were camping and had us on our way at NO charge, different than $220 for a battery we didn’t need. Price of being a tourist in a must situation. A bad experience in Medicine Hat thanks to Auto Spa Towing

Auto Spa is a company willing to go to the extreme to help the customer. I had my first towing experience through Auto Spa and was surprised to see them take initiative in fixing a mistake that both I and the driver made while towing. Not only did their in house mechanic fix what was damaged but they also fixed other issues that were unrelated to the whole event. My vehicle came out of their hands in better condition than when it entered which I can't say about some auto service companies. I will gladly use their service again the next time I need a tow.

Our vehicle broke down at the Wild Horse Border crossing on a Sunday afternoon. We called Auto Spa Towing and the truck was there in approximately 1 hour. The driver was professional and courteous. He went way beyond his duties when he proceeded to find us a mechanic who could fix our vehicle the next day. His understanding and knowledge turned a stressful situation around. The owners Kraig and Danette are very generous with their time to help others in our community. They have given a helping hand and a leg up to more people than anyone can imagine. Saying that - For anyone who has owned a business, it is a common understanding that no matter how hard you work - the reality is there will always be unfortunate situations where people may be disappointed. My problem is, I have read some of the negative reviews on here and I am wondering if any one of the people who were quick to post on social media had thought of contacting the business prior to posting their comments? If it is indeed the problem that a person is upset with and not just something that could be misconstrued as a personal attack, (from someone like myself reading it) would it not be a more productive approach to resolving the issue? Correct me if I am wrong, but I am hoping the people who took the time to post negative comments did so ONLY after they contacted the business to inform them of their disappointment. I am lost in the reasoning of people when they feel the need to lash out negatively at any hard working business without first taking the professional approach of attempting to work it out with the business directly.

Called for a quote to have my car unlocked, was quoted $70, so I asked how long it would take to get to Redcliff. I was then told that due to the extra kilometers to drive to Redcliff it would be $90. I wasnt about to pay that much so I hesitated. Then the driver told me well he could do it for $75 because he is already in Redcliff and was there within 5 minutes... How is that "extra kilometers" if he is already in Redcliff? If i was in Medicine Hat he would have had to drive all the way back to the city to unlock my car and it would have been cheaper than what he had charged me. Thats shady, had I not been in a hurry I would have called someone else for sure. Im glad I didnt agree to the $90 or I would have been ripped off even more. Would not recommend.

On February 19th, 2016 I slid off the highway 41 with a loaded cattle trailer due to ice and wind. I called on Auto Spa Towing to help me out. They came with one truck and winched my trailer over so as to make my transition up onto the highway easier. I had driven in the ditch up to an approach. At this point the tow truck driver called out 2 more trucks . He intimidated me with stories about past incidents and then proceeded to park his truck in front of mine so that I couldn't proceed on my own. When the other 2 tow trucks finally arrived they proceeded with one truck hooked to the trailer and the other one to the front of my truck. The third truck was suppose to be flagman. (totally unnecessary) The first driver was just supervising at the end and it was time I ended up paying for. My semi truck only needed a slight pull from the front to get me going. The cable was slack the rest of the time. There was no danger of the trailer tipping over as had been suggested by the first driver. In the end this whole fiasco ended up costing me $2400.00. The first truck could have done the entire operation on his own costing me about $500. It was overkill at my expense. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I found myself in that position today when I locked my keys in my car with it running in -23 wind chill. After calling another local Medicine Hat CAA afiliated company for a tow and getting the run around for over 4 hours on arrival time I called Auto Spa as a second choice! Wish I had saved a few hours and called them first. Alicia was beyond awesome with suggestions and advice on what I should do & on top of it dealt directly with me eventhough it was a CAA call and she could have made me go through their dispatch first but didn't! She let me know right up front the vehicle would not be able to be picked up until the next morning, but it would be top on the list. By 8am next morning got a call that they were on their way to get my sons car out of the ditch. As the driver was on the way home with it he called to let me know everything looked ok and he would be taking it to my house as per requested. Shortly after I got a second call from dispatch advising me of the same! Not that I want a next time but if it happens Auto Spa will definitely be my first call! Thank you for your awesome service!
