They did not call back even after contacting them multiple times and speaking with them about setting up an appointment. They say they are very busy and understaffed, so I gave them a week, as I was told they would be back to full staffing the following week. Still no call back. Their inability to have some common courtesy and call a customer back astounds me. They are more then likely too busy for you. Use one of there competition.

Brother lock smith did an awesome job installing. Service was great, called in the morning and came out same day. Realized that they sold me crappy door handled kept falling apart. They did come out and fix. And now it happened again. And called then on Monday and Tuesday and now it's Friday and I haven't heard from them as to when there comming out to fix door handle. It's quite frustrating. And yea. Not happy.

I called well in advance to have a job done giving them specific criteria for when to have a job done by. They decided to ignore that time, and try to make me cancel all the other plans I had for the day. I told them that if the job wasn't done, I wouldn't be around to pay them since I absolutely had to go. They then proceeded to swear at me and say well we won't even bother showing up. When I made arrangements to have someone else there, and called them back they said "yeah, never call back" Would never do business with them again.

Went in there to get my car key cut as a back up and I was in and out in 2 minutes. It was just 4 dollars so it was pretty cheap. I would rather go to actual key specialists than go to a place such as Walmart or Canadian Tire.

Went there to have a key fob for my 2007 Buick Lucerne re-programmed as my family had been going there for years..The owner told me he would not do it as it was to hard and to much trouble and have fun doing it myself. I told him I needed a Key fob Programmer Tool so I can't do it myself do I have to go to a dealer. He said wait i will check and called the worker in the field. Then said it will cost $80.00 to do both I said Okay that would be fine. But it is not a guarantee that the fob will work and the $80.00 fee still applies. I agreed and gave him my phone number as he said the machine is out in the field and will contact me tomorrow morning.. Called back 2 days later same story waited 2 weeks finally went to another lock smith who reprogrammed the fobs on the spot. WILL NEVER go back there again he was rude and even thought I was going pay to have the work done wasn't interested in helping me with my problem.

Got a Brothers brand key stuck in my condo door, was yanking on it for an hour before I called their number looking for any guidance they could offer (Superintendent and Property Manager stop working at 5 apparently). Guy on the phone gave me some quick advice even though he didn't owe me anything, appreciate the customer service. Finally got it out after following some tips. If I need some key related work, I now know where to go in town.

Just had an incident with one of their drivers on # 8 hwy south of Winnipeg. Driver was speeding and driving so close to my bumper I was afraid he would cause an accident. Then when he finally passed me he was staring into my car like a psycho then stayed beside me. When I tried to speed up to get away from him he sped up again, didn’t matter how fast I was going he stayed with me. Then when I slow down he would slow down. If this is the professionalism we can expect from your company. .... No thanks! I would not want this person in my home or business. A little professionalism goes along way. Maybe you should teach your drivers that.

Asked on phone for lock to be replaced after inquiring about price for fixing or repairing. Apparentlythey did not write that down. Was told would try to be out before day end if not the next day between 9 and 3. Waited most of day for them to come, phoned and was told oh sorry busyand won't be till next day. They should of called and told us. Wasn't home when they came, husband was, they fixed it not replaced it as i instructed on phone. So make sure your instructions are explicit and make them repeat what the order says.

I don't know what people are talking about here, but I had a terrible experience with this company and would recommend to everyone I know to stay away. My whole building was being re-keyed, and the employee who came to my door told me that the cost of the service was $60 + $2.50 for each key they cut (I asked for 3). Later I found out from my neighbours, who all have the same locks, were charged $60 plus tax for their service, and some had even requested 4 keys, and were not given an additional charge. To be clear, the issue here isn't the amount of money, it's the pettiness of trying to trick different customers into different rates who all live in the same building with the same locks! Who nickles and dimes like this over the equivalent of two cups of coffee?! When I called to clarify the issue I received a terse response telling me that they don't know about what happened, but that if we were unsatisfied they would come over and undo the job they did, or we could call another company to get a comparison. The alternative was to give the names of the people in the building who got a cheaper service so they could charge them more! Awful experience.

DON"T EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! I have been in contact with them for over a month and they have failed to respond in a timely manner (never responded to emails until I called after waiting a week to hear from them on multiple occasions). I gave them over a month to get the lock I wanted in and to allow for a satisfied customer but they didn't bother.

Jason from Brothers Lock & Safe attended my residence on extremely short notice on a Saturday morning, after receiving the very rude order to attend immediately, from my landlord's wife, in order to avoid having rent garnished. The landlord had refused to fix my the apartment door lock for over a month so Brothers was called. Despite being treated very poorly prior to attending, Jason attended quickly and acted very professionally while completing the job. Jason and "the boss" did an impeccable job fixing the lock and door. They went above and beyond while still maintaining the originally quoted price provided to the landlord. They made sure the job was done right the first time so they wouldn't have to come back. They cleaned up prior to leaving which I also appreciated. Both employees were very personable and professional and did the best job they could with what they were given to work with. I would highly recommend this company!

I've had MANY odd and unusual vehicle and lock keys cut here and they all fit PERFECTLY first try! Even when I have brought them bent, worn out, or otherwise damaged keys to copy. Cheaper than the big hardware stores, too, and those never fit well (if at all) first try. If you need keys cut, don't waste your time anywhere else. I also bought my new security door hardware from them - again, top shelf service and products. Thanks!

I'm sure most have had great experiences, but I was turned away at the door. I said I had a question about backset latches, when asked by staff "Weiser or Schlage" and I responded with an I didn't know, I was turned away. They didn't want to hear anything else. Likely would have made a purchase that day if assisted, as I was looking to replace all knobs and latches in my home, but I wasn't able to elaborate any further to explain my position. I'm sure the service level would have been different if I had a more favourable response, but at the time, I didn't know what I didn't know, and I just needed some help.

Would never consider using this company again. Totally unprofessional. Had made arrangement for John (Brothers Lock) to come to my residence to provide and set up new Proximity Key yesterday. By middle of afternoon he had not shown up, and when I texted him he replied "he was now not coming that day because he "looked at his GPS at it showed my residence at just over 30 mins away to get to so I'll be closer tomorrow".???...now I wait today for his promised visit after he texted me saying he was "on his way 20 minutes approximately". I waited that 20 ...plus another 45 minutes with no show again. Texted again to see what the delay was and he informed me that "he never bothered coming". When I challenged him that I now had been waiting for 2 days and no show....he replied that "I think its best if you go to the dealer". Wow. If I could give Brothers a "zero" on this review I would.

Great at cutting keys but holy hell, do you just give someone the van keys and tell them to go try and write it off? Your driver is cutting people off, changing lanes without signaling, crossing the lines into other lanes while trying to go straight... too much hard eggnog at the Christmas party??

Spoke with Hugh and made arrangements to have a technician come to our office. We were given a two day window during which time a technician could arrive. A technician did show up but he just looked around, said he'd be back later and left. Our two day window has now closed and I am looking for services elsewhere.
