We called this company because we locked ourselves out. They said they will take 30 mins and they took 2 hours to come and it was -12 outside. We never been to this situation before so I had absolutely no idea how much it cost to break the lock. Then when I called & I asked what would be the total charge for it, she kept saying $29 service call so I was like wow that’s cheap. When the guy arrived, he said the total would be $190 plus tax. She didn’t mentioned service call plus labour would be a lot more than $29. Honesty would have been appreciated. I feel like we got scammed. Because there was a company who told us $85 plus tax will be our grand total and they were gonna take 10 mins to send a guy. We said no to that company considering to save some money because we just moved and due to covid financially it’s very hard. We froze ourselves for 2 hours and ended up paying double money! So unfair. We feel like we got scammed. We just moved to Cambridge and that’s what we get here as our first service.
