After seeing 3 Canadian Tires, and a Home Hardware, I came to this place to make a copy of a garage key that seemed impossible to copy. In literally 90 seconds of showing up, Amanda was cutting a key. I needed 2 and I tested them immediately when I got home. Both worked flawlessly. For sure my go to place for key making. I'm in Guelph but will come out of my way to come here. Amazing service...Thank You!

Had a very unpleasant experience with them. They fixed a deadbolt for a rental property of mine, the problem re-occurred just two months later. I called them to resolve the situation and they said they could offer no warranty since the deadbolt wasn't fully replaced. I was obviously frustrated since I just paid them $150 to fix it two months ago. After apologizing for the circumstances, they offered me a lousy 10% discount to replace the deadbolt. - Updating my rating as they reached out to me personally and saw that the situation was resolved to my satisfaction. Contacted Cote Lock Service for a second re-keying job after they originally re-did all my locks at a residential home in Kitchener (2nd one was in Guelph). Had to get 3 doors re-keyed (locks were different for all 3 doors), they we're able to do it and provide us with an extra amount of keys that we requested. One of our locks/doorknobs in the garage was broken - they were able to replace it during the process! Friendly and professional service - everything was done properly, on time and for an extremely reasonable price. If you're a home owner and want to change your locks I would highly recommend their services.

I went here to inquire about getting a key cut and programmed for my vehicle was told I have to book an appointment so I did it was for today I was told I would be getting a phone call to confirm that everything was a go. I booked two weeks ago I never got a phone call to confirm anything so I obviously wasn't booked for today very disappointing.

Have gone a couple times to get keys cut, always quick, kind, and easy! Nice to deal with a local business rather than the hit/miss service you get at the big box stores. They're just as cheap as the stores too, so there's really no reason not to go to Cote!

I used them when we moved into our new house. They rekeyed 2 locks. The service was fast and efficient. However our garage lock which we have used maybe 10 times has broken. We can no longer use it. We contacted the company and they started since it has been 3 years since it was rekeyed it is no longer covered by warranty. Very disappointing.

What an easy company to do Business with. I contacted another locksmith company and they said they could not get out to install new locks for about 6 weeks because their installers were too busy. I called Cote, visited their showroom and within 6 days I had new locks and so e rekeyed. Very professional and responsive. I am a happy consumer.

Evaluated the situation, determined that defective part needed to be replaced. Had door latch operational within minutes. Very friendly, professional, efficient. I Have been a customer for more than 6 years and have used Cote lock Services on 4 separate occasions, however I will no longer stay with them and I will not recommend them. I called a few times to discuss my issue with a manager and they did not even take the time to explain anything so I had to resort to leaving a comment after losing my patience just waiting for a call back that hasn't come for months now. Last time I called them, the charged me $563.87 for their services which was supposed to include a high security knob for the exterior door for about $200 of that bill, however, after a while I realized that the knob looks exactly like the bedroom knobs that I got at a discount hardware store for like $30. in fact, I checked and the bedroom keys opens the exterior door!!!!! so much for high security. Thanks for nothing.
