Unbelievably ignorant! Do not call this man for help, I try and explain the problem to him so he can better help me (which I will pay him for) and he starts going off about how late it is at night (9:50pm). I thought this was a 24 hour service like his post says. I am absolutely appalled at the sheer ignorance of this man. Should not deal with the public

I had a wonderful experience with Pat! I went to open my condo recently and couldn’t due to the lock being jammed. I was out of my place for about 2 hrs and wasnt sure who to call, my folks recommended Pat’s locksmith and im sure glad i called!!! Pat was able to pick my lock and loosen up the pins so i could put my key in again!!! Very helpful fellow, excellent service, and was finished fixing lock within 20 min!!! Will definitely recommend Pat to anyone having issues with their locks. Cheers, Alex

I was lucky and thankful to use Pat's service. I had called other Google recommended locksmiths and they didn't even work weekends and could not come for several days... Which does not seem helpful for such a time sensitive service. He was early, very professional and quick. In selling a property, I had lost the mail key for the mailbox in an apartment. Pat fixed it very quickly and gave me two keys. Turns out Pat also knew my family from long ago. He was friendly and easy to chat with. I would recommend him to others in need.

Pat was quick about getting my locks rekeyed. Sunday afternoon, was at my place within 30 minutes and for 2 locks, got them done fast. I would recommend his work to anyone. He was also very professional and knowledgeable!

Not much of a locksmith. I'm a manager at a hotel and my employee tried to change a lock and broke it. We couldn't get the door open. I called to see about the cost and he started giving me grief and lecturing me , telling me to phone someone else because he wouldn't bother coming out for a lock that someone else had tried to change and that I should tell my employees to never try changing them. Etc etc. Like I needed this at that time!! I explained it was an emergency he told me it wasn't his problem and then gave a little chuckle and hung up. Very unprofessional. Would never recommend or call then again

I called this morning to book service on my bathroom door that locked and I could not open. The owner said he “didn’t have time for this” and hung up on me. He was incredibly rude. I do not recommend using this company.

My family and I came over to Rathtrevor Provincal park to do a few days of camping . I quickly realized that I had forgotten my Thule cargo box key on the mainland ,when I pulled into the campsite. I had pretty much all the camping stuff in the cargo box ! I called around to a bunch of locksmiths in Parksville and Naniamo and the prices they wanted were crazy (hundreds of dollars ) to open a couple locks . This was after offering to drive to these people. I called Pat and he was extremely friendly and told me to meet him in town. When I met Pat he was very couteous , and professional. His prices are crazy reasonable compared to the others I called. He charged me less than $30 to open 2 Thule locks . The locks were pretty stubborn, but Pat was super patient and eventually he got them to open . Pat told me he has lived in Naniamo for about 40 years and has been In his business for about the same amount of time . He obviously has been doing something right for the last 40 years . Thanks again Pat for saving my camping trip with my family!

Was selling my motorcycle and couldn't locate the key. Called another well known local shop but they only rekey bikes at their store. They gave me the name of Pat's Locksmith and I called. He answered and after explaining my situation (my bike is an old one from 1983), said he would be there within the hour. He explained that he only accepted cash so got my landlord to let him in while I ran to the bank. He was already there when I returned working on it. I went back into my apartment to look for my charger and paperwork. Pat was there almost an hour when I decided to have one more look in my bedroom and found the key. I was very embarrassed showing it to him and he said that was okay but he was literally one cut away from finishing the new one. He explained that he would still have to charge me a service call fee, which I was completely agreeable to. He took the time to lubricate all 4 locks on my bike. I was very happy with his service and thoroughness, I would use his services again and highly recommend him.

How this guy is in business is beyond me. Incredibly RUDE and unprofessional. He hung up on us TWICE while asking for emergency service to get into our house. He demanded cash in hand before he would even start heading in our direction. We happily paid DOUBLE for another person to come rather than pay someone like Pat. I would hazard that these positive reviews were left by friends and family. HORRIBLE SERVICE... or LACK there of. Break a window before calling this POS.

On sunday, I called him and gave him the information about the car. He was trying to excuse himself and with a loud voice he was asking questions and giving some advice :why you did not call the dealership....why you do not have a spare key....it will be expensive for you.... I was trying to answer his questions, he didn't let me talk. I thought he is open 24 hours. I suggest him if you cant handle 24 hours service, please change it in your add. Very poor communication.

I lost the keys to my motorhome, called Pat, and he was there within the hour. Not only did he make me a new ignition key, he made me new keys for everything(door, all compartments) and the price was fantastic. other places would have charged me over $400 I paid less than half that. Thank you Pat.
