What I like about lock doctor is the professional service and quality with the attention of a local family owned business. I have had two issues that I got taken care of here. A minor key cut and an issue with an electronic safe. Both were done in a superb manner. They also have a variety of products for sale!

My old Honda's keys were worn and weren't working properly in the ignition. Gary and Russell took great care of me and even took extra time to show me how ignitions are assembled so that I fully understood the work that was being done on my car. They communicated every step of the way, coordinated with the dealer, and ended up rebuilding my ignition and cutting a new key based on the factory code -- this saved me a ton of money versus going to the dealer! On top of the great service I received, the guys even went above and beyond, working late on December 23rd so they could get me my car back on Christmas Eve in time for the holidays. Amazing!

Amazing service. Sent email Saturday morning about a padlock I needed cut off a suitcase. Said closed weekends except emergencies so expected a reply Monday. I was so surprised to check my emails in a bit and the response was if I could head down to the shop shortly I’d be met there. I replied, headed right down, and Ryan had the job done In no time and I was on my way. Super friendly, quick, efficient, professional service.

Lock Doctor has looked after my business and personal lock smith needs for many years. I have always found that they do a good job for a reasonable amount charged. Just yesterday they saved me over $300 when they picked my motorcycle locks and cut me new keys. Lock Doctor is amazing. We just moved into a new place and went to Canadian Tire to have keys cut. We had to return 3 separate times and they were still unsuccessful at cutting the key. The Gents at Lock Doctor cut the key properly in 1 shot, and had advice regarding car remotes and keys as well. Absolutely a positive experience!

Awesome service from this Company ! From the time that I made contact, I received very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable service from all staff. My initial contact was with Jeff who assured me that he would get my problem fixed and he made arrangements for John & Ryan to carry out the work in a timely manner. I had a jammed deadbolt lock on our closed backdoor and John mentioned that it was a common door problem, however, this was an unusual situation where this deadbolt was really stuck. I joked about getting a hammer to fix the problem. In a few minutes they had the problem fixed and a new lock installed and the lock re-keyed. Thank you John and Ryan for carrying out this work with a smile on your faces and genuine concern in solving the problem. I thoroughly recommend this Company for your lock problems and for providing first class service with a reasonable price.

Great customer service. They helped change the locks on my truck tool cap. Wasn't as straightforward as one would Think. The guys had to customize the keys and did so making it look easy. Used them a few more times for other lock issues allways outstanding. Never tried their mobile service can't comment on that.

You know what I've recently learned...it's not about repetitively using the same merchant and they seem friendly and nice...it's about if there is an issue and they care to stand behind services and products...I was very loyal to this merchant for many years(over 10) and when I had an issue with something, they were unwilling to even discuss it , argued, were very rude and after over a week the owner is yet to return my call. i understand they recently sold their business but they are still in place and you would think the good faith that is involved with selling a business would prevail this was a small monetary amount yet they were so unwilling to fix this issue...do yourself a favor go else where . .

Wow! My car egnition key broke. The "key" broke away from the fob effectively making the key useless. Not only did they jury rig the key so that I could get home but they will be able to make me a new key saving me hundreds of dollars.

Saved the day!! My key fob stopped working while on vacation and out of my town.Long story dodge dealership told me a week to get it looked at!!! Called the lock doctor, got Garry to come take a look. He was very helpful and determined to get us going. Most people wouldn't even give you their time to figure this out. Don't waste your time or money going here!!! there are lots of better locksmith business in town which would serve you better. Update. December 12 Dont spend your money here I bought a mul t lock Cronus from them and I have the only 2 specially cut keys. they gave out the key code to whoever and now that person is breaking and entering into my apartment just to damaging my property there's no signs of force entry so they have a key when I have the only 2 keys This place is garbage. They gave out my personal information and then illegally changed the locks onyapartment. Without my permission, knowledge or authority. I'm now seeking asylum for my safety because of the garbage way they conduct business

Dropped off a tailgate lock needed keys cut or lock replacement very basic on Friday they told me that they would have it done by Monday and call me to say if it was done or if they were replacing lock.. no call so i called back wensday thinking that I'd be forsure ready to pick up. They said it wasn't ready. I wait a few more days nothing call back there like you can pick it up if you like I'm like is it done ? There like no I'm like well I'll come pick it up when it's done ... They said they'd call me ..... Nothing 2 weeks go by no call so i call them and go pick it up.... Guy tells me no sorry it's ceased I'm like ohh wow took you guys 2 weeks to tell me that well done ! I then take my lock directly to sun valley locksmiths ... Telling them the story.. making sure they know it's ceased there like ya well cut some keys and be ready for you by tomorrow ... Literally on my drive home they call me and say the locks ready to be picked up ... Wow haha sure made the lock doctors look bad . I don't normally write reviews but this was a little to much to slide under the radar.. don't waste your time with these guys go to sun valley.

After two email and five calls, I was finally informed by one of their staff that their preferred clients are commercial and that they had little time for residential work. There was one time when they said we could meet as they would be in my building, but they never called back with a time. If you are in a rush, use someone else.
