Thank you for the rescue Ryan! The service from Kelowna Lock & Key yesterday was prompt, efficient, extremely helpful, and affordable. I was stuck in a parking lot with car keys that would not turn in the ignition, and a car that was not going anywhere. My phone battery was dying and the car dealership just kept putting me on hold. We were ready to call a tow truck and pay a huge amount of money to have the ignition replaced, but then a call to Ryan turned out to be a much better plan. He just asked for a text with the location and he was immediately on his way. On arrival, Ryan went straight to work. It was impressive to watch. In a very short time, the problem was completely resolved!

I had an issue with the ignition in my car, and my wife had the car towed directly our dealership. After finding out that I couldn't afford the repairs, and was told they had no way of working with me in this regard, I found out about Kelowna Lock and Key. Ryan was patient, and professional. He went over everything with me, and even re-explained himself so I could understand it fully. He was timely (A day faster than the dealership quoted me), and willing to go to the car to do the work. In the end, his cost was 20% that of what I was quoted by the dealership. I can guarantee you, I will always call here first. I will recommend him to anyone who needs these types of services. On a rainy, miserable Saturday afternoon, Ryan was the only guy in Kelowna ready to cut a new key for my car. He also got down in a muddy driveway to fish the broken key out of the lock with some fiddly wires and a flashlight, which looked about as much fun as threading a needle for ants. I shut my car off, a 1929 Ford Model A, in Mission Park Mall. It has a GM tilt steering column, the key would not come out of the ignition, or start the car. I had no idea what was wrong. Ryan at Kelowna Lock and Key was able to clone immobilizer chips for my Ducati keys. The bike only had one key when I bought it and that was very worrisome....if you lose or damage the only key..... the only fix is to buy a new cpu that contains the immobilizer unit ($1,000+). I can not say enough good about Ryan! Last Thursday night I lost the key FOB to my Honda CRV and called the Honda Dealership Friday morning. They said I could have the vehicle towed there to re-key or call Kelowna Lock and Key, who they highly recommend. I called Ryan and he was here by noon! The Friday of the Long Weekend! Cut and programmed 2 keys right here in my driveway! Super polite and professional, done! So today my original FOB was returned, I called Ryan to reprogram the FOB and he said he was super busy, in the middle of moving to Lake Country, etc. He showed up here at my house and reprogrammed the FOB!
