This weekend I had an incident where my friend's car keys were stolen off a table at a local arcade, they were inside a jacket which was the target of the theft. We had to call after hours on a Sunday to have the ignition key reproduced which was also a chipped key. Not only did they arrive quickly despite the circumstances, but they had the ability to make they key on the spot as well as program the chip. The price was more than fair as this is a very expensive ordeal under the best of circumstances. The service tech painstakingly had to disassemble the car door in the dark and rain and was nothing but generously kind throughout it all. They even made a new house key for free when they realized that was among the keys that were stolen! I highly recommend this service if you ever need anything taken care of, day or night. They are more than willing and able to meet your needs without breaking your bank. Those situations are already stressful enough as is! Thank you!

I thought they were good for what they do but in my case they showed me something else,I lost my car keys and I called pop a luck for them to make a new one well they worked on my car for 2 weeks,they just couldnt get my car to start,so Barry got upset so he said that he couldn't get it to start that he was fed up with it after he had switched my computer for a different one that he got from the junk yard,I called different locksmith around the area and they didnt want to work on my car because another locksmith had worked on it and left it half way done and they couldn't guarantee that the car would start..now Barrys boss offer me to take it and get it to start after I told him that I was taking them to court...they took my car and they got it to start but my cruise control wouldn't work and the passanger's door won't open. This happened around three months ago,Now my car wont start again so I took it to the car shop and they say that the key is not sending signal to the motor..and is so funny on the respond I recieved from them at the bottom of my message how they want to blame it on the vehicle when the vehicle didn't have any electrical issues before they worked on it....the mechanic is telling me that is not even an electrical problem that it has to do with who ever tried programming the key because the key is not sending signal to the motor....but that just shows how they know their stuff...and my car still not running...

Cameron and Barry were awesome!! They did a fantastic job. My car needed the ignition drilled out and it was STUBBORN. These guys were friendly, patient, and kept at it until it was done. Cameron was awesome at communicating to let me know when he could arrive to help. Also, I called four or five different locksmiths around town for quotes before I went with Pop-A-Lock, and they charged me $100 LESS than all the others were going to.

Great service! I had lost all my keys to my car and after a tow truck guy came and unlocked my doors he told me he could take me to the dealership to have new ones made or call this company to do my keys for me. They ended up being cheaper than my quote from the dealership and came to me! That was the best part because my car was underground in a sloped parking garage and getting it out would’ve been hard with a tow truck. The dealership was insistant I brought my car physically there but offered no solution to getting my car out. It was so nice pop-a-lock could come to me AND get the job done in a matter of an hour. I didn’t even have to stay in the garage the whole time- Gentry, the guy working on my locks told me I could go sit up in my apartment and relax and he would call me when the job was done down stairs.

Someone stole the key to my van while I was swimming. I was stranded, in my wet swimming outfit on a rural, dead-end street without a cell phone, as the sun was setting on a Saturday night. Eventually, some strangers, passing by, helped me contact AAA. Barry showed up in his Pop-a-Lock mobile shop a couple of hours later, having been roused from bed by the assistance call. These guys hustle & are on call 24/7! Despite that, Barry was friendly and competent--explaining to me all that was necessary to cut and program a new chip-key for my van. Though it turned out that my model year couldn't, in fact, be programmed same-day, onsite, he called a tow truck (another man dragged out of bed) & they got me home & my van to the yard. Though I didn't get home until midnight, I was very happy with the friendly, helpful service. I learned a lot about keys that could have saved me this whole unfortunate incident. I'm also going to have a spare chip-key, for future use, as well as a plain (entry-only) key. which is a lot easier to hide under a rock, near my vehicle, instead of having to roll up my expensive, remote-control, chipped key in my clothes (or risking getting it wet) when I go swimming or rafting. Had Matt come out to the rest stop our keys fell out of my mom's pocket and into the toilet and when my mom went to stand up the toilet auto flushed. Matt did a great job got us a key programmed and a new one cute quickly and didn't have to wait long for them to arrive. Highly recommend this company. Great pricing as well. Thank you!

Had to have a key made when my U-Haul was key was stolen or went missing. The tech made it to site at exactly the 45 eta given, the only problem was that he didn't bring the correct key with him. An additional 30 minutes to return to the shop and arrive on site. He had already cut the key so he was able to get right in and start the transmitter programming which room about 15 minutes. The key wouldn't work. He tried programming again another 15 minutes. Still no go. He cut a 2nd key as he thought maybe 2 we're needed, still a no go. Then he determined he grabbed the wrong keys and went back to the shop. Another 30 minutes of waiting. This time he had the right key and after another 15 minutes of programming, it worked. If they were more prepared the whole service call would of only taken 60 minutes after dispatch. Instead it was about a 3 hour process.

From now on I will tell everyone I know to call Pop-A-Lock when in need of a locksmith. Never have I received service like this. Barry was amazing! Its Christmas Eve, it is absolutely freezing outside and I thought for sure I'd be waiting out in the cold for at LEAST an hour. Not even close! Barry arrived quickly and had me inside within 3 minutes of getting here even though my entire door handle had fallen apart in to a bunch of tiny peices. I fully expected that the job was done at that point since I was now able to get inside the house. I thought that all he came to do was let me in to the house and leave regardless of my door handle being in a million peices. But he didn't. He actually stayed and put all of those peices back together and completely fixed the hold door handle! I couldnt believe it. I thought it was completely broken and fully expected to be left with gaping hole in my door and then spend $75+ for a new one. Let me remind you, this is Christmas Eve and he is here putting this crazy puzzle of a door knob back together which was far and beyond what I even expected! He had me into the house and the door completely fixed in all of 15 minutes. This guy is incredible and really knows his stuff! And their prices are amazing! Our last experience with a different company was $90, we waited for almost an hour for them to arrive, took forever to get IN to the house and we were left with a gaping hole and scratches on the front door. And honestly, I was actually happy with the service because I didn't know any better and thought that it was just standard practice. So you can only imagine how blown away I was at the service I received from Barry! $65!? That's less than it would have cost for a new lock! Thank you SO much Barry and Pop-A-Lock!! PS. I hope you guys pay him really well for working holidays! He is a live saver!

Unfortunately, I had to use two locksmith services in Eugene, Oregon for my daugther within a one week period. I wish I would have called Pop-A-Lock first because both times I had to have an electronic key made for a Toyota Prius. The first place I used, Eugene 24 Hour Locksmith service, took me to the cleaners. Second time, I called around to compare prices, and Pop-A-Lock charged me $200 less than the other locksmith service. Barry was WONDERFUL! So professional, courteous and did not take advantage of the situation of my daughter being locked out during her trip in Eugene. Thank you again!

They made a key for my car awhile ago. It was the cheapest in town. Except now my car locks itself and unlocks itself whenever it feels like it. I’ve been locked inside of it and have to physically hold the door lock to get out. When I tried to call and ask about it I was brushed off and told that it was probably my battery. I bought a new battery and it still does it, come to find out it was the chip in the key they made me. The guy was nice I just don’t think he wanted to fix my key.

I have never written a review before. Saying that, I was recommended pop-A-lock for having myself locked out of my vehicle. I called, was told by Barry it’s going be an hour, which was okay with me. He assured that’ll have someone call me in that time frame. 2 hours past, I called again Barry answered and told me he has moved on to another job and I’ll just have to wait. Being past midnight, I called Auto Unlock Eugene and they helped right away for the exact same price. I highly don’t recommend relying on this company if they tell you they going to call back, based on my experience. *Edit to the response from owner Is it possible to show me the call log? I didn’t receive no calls and I won’t mind posting my missed calls. The two calls marked out are from people I know and one is a face time and the other not even on the day this occurred. I can also post the calls I tried calling. What building where outside from?

I was in Hawaii on vacation with my kids staying at home with a friend, but she was using our van. The van key broke in the door. Pop-A-Lock understood our problem and quickly helped out. As any mom knows, locking your kids in the car is taboo. So this afternoon when I shut my trunk and went to open my driver side door and realize I had locked my keys in my car - it is safe to say that I was more than slightly hysterical. Having no idea who to call or what to do - I called nine-one-one and was given the number for Pop-A-Lock. Not only is Pop-A-Lock a company of Integrity who does not charge people for this emergency service- but the technician Gentry went above and beyond to make my experience even more positive than just getting my car unlocked for free. Knowing the state of my emergency, and that I had two young children locked in my car in the Sun... He called as soon as he was dispatched to let me know that he was going to get there as quick as he possibly could. He turned a drive that should have taken 25+ minutes into a 15 minute drive. He immediately set to comforting me and letting me know that he would get the door unlocked very quickly and reassuring me that my kids were going to be okay. Upon getting out of his car his first question was how are the babies doing now? Are they still doing okay? Further solidifying that these were people who cared about me and my family and my children safety. It took him less than a minute to get my car unlocked. After that he could have simply just got in the necessary information and when about his day. But he took the extra couple minutes to make funny noises for my kids and interact with them to put smiles on their faces. I am so incredibly thankful for Pop-A-Lock that they provide this free service in my community, and I am so so so thankful for the technician Gentry and his kind heart. He didn't have to rush to me, he didn't have to take the time to comfort me and let me know that it happens to a lot of moms, he didn't have to interact with my children and give them the comfort of a happy moment after being stuck in a hot car for 20 minutes. This experience honestly not only gained Pop-A-Lock a lifelong customer- but it truly put me in such a great mood and warmed my heart so much and honestly sent me off on a better day than I was having before I even locked my keys in my car. Left my Keys in my BMW. Car lock Saftey features made it an incredible challenge. Called these guys and Came within an hour. Worked at it and got it open ASAP.
