Always love helping small Canadian operarions, that why when I visited today I was terribly disappointed I called first, asked for an item, told the price and that its in stock, and then asked about price match. Gentleman on the phone put me on hold to ask his manager. He comes back says yep, just show us the paper ad or on your phone. I order the items for pickup. When I get there about 10min later, I show the ad and am promptly told they dont offer price matching because "We are already taking a hit not being able to open fully". Not impressed, I asked to speak to a manager and am smugly told "Im one of them". So I tell her I want to talk to the manager the guy on the phone spoke to. She goes in, comes out 5 min later and says theyll do it this time but they no longer match prices Anyways, buyer beware! Best shop at Home Depot or Canadian Tire unless you enjoy spending lots more for the same products! They truly wonder why they are losing business to the bigger stores. Smh

Pets are welcome! I just found out that Weeks allows you to bring your dog into the store! A welcoming sign on the front door also indicates that doggie treats are available at the paint department counter. Love it oh, I know where I'm going to be shopping now. Customer focused service, staff are friendly and helpful. A great shopping experience.

Friendly, quick, competent service! I used to frequent another Home Hardware that is closer to my house, but stopped after frequently witnessing some of their associates being rude to seniors who were unaware they had to phone ahead. This location is now my go-to for my bird feeding needs. My order was ready within half an hour and the staff who helped me both over the phone and at the door were friendly. Also, when I overheard them telling other customers that they have to order ahead over the phone, they remained friendly, gave detailed instructions, and ensured those customers that their order shouldn't take long. Nicely done!

Another great Home Hardware. I have been to this location a few times now, I always find what I'm looking for and the staff is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. I love that HH is Canadian, good value, focused on customer service and carries things that no one else does. I really don't understand why it isn't Canada's most popular hardware store. I have so highly recommended HH to friends and family they tell me they think to go there first now too.

Clean well kept store. Prices are moderate, some sale items. Not a big store but reminds me a lot like a Canadian tire but on a smaller scale. Didn't have any plants for gardening but had a lot of gardening tools and some patio decor options. Also has a paint desk if anyone is interested to know.

Very informative and very helpful stuff, they going off they way to help you with anything you need plus awesome prices for most of the things! This set is only $22 where in second store only shower curtain costs $20! I just saved close to $20 with taxes!

I placed an order over the phone with a sku number that was confirmed in stock with a representative at this location. I arrived several hours later to pickup the order from 40 minutes away only to find that they were out. I know product and inventory moves fast but someone could have called to let me know they didn't actually have what I ordered. It could have saved me the trip. Staff gave me some explanation of nothing is confirmed until picked up which is reasonable but when I'm speaking with a person actually at the store they should not say something is in without checking or at least give the customer a call. Unfortunately a bad experience for me this one time.

Consistently out of stock on sale item. Friendly staff but out of stock situation makes shopping experience frustrating. It reminds me of old Zellers. They get you in the door and I tend to pick up other items I was not intending to buy but ultimately end up walking away disappointed. At some point I will stop shopping at Home Hardware if this practice continues.

This place is great. Always have plumbing fittings that most hardware stores don't carry. Needed a couple fittings the other day for an emergency repair. I was able to call and place my order and pick up 10 minutes later. Would have taken hours for curbside PU at HD or Lowes. Great service.

Very disappointing with this store. I called to confirm that the store had a product and that they would hold it for me while I drove there. It took me 30 mins to get there, only to be told that they had NO stock. After I had called the store to confirm they had the item - and they promised to put it on hold for me. Terrible customer service! Also, while in the store I noticed very poor COVID safety precautions in place : NO hand sanitizer at the entrance; NO hand sanitizer in the store (containers were empty); employees were not wearing their masks. Clearly they don't take safety or customer service seriously. I will NOT be returning.

Great service and selection. Staff seems genuinely happy to be there and willing to help. Regarding the bathroom issue someone mentioned, I asked. Seems that the renovations to the building were inadequate and caused major plumbing problems with all the bathrooms. If there is fault, it is with the contractors and plaza owners. Can't hold the store responsible if they don't own the building.

Thank you Matt for sorting this out! I saw hand mixers on sale from $59.99 to $49.99 so I got one. When I got to the cash, people were returning items. This takes time, the line up was getting longer so I asked, "Why don't you have another cash open?" no reply, I went to pay for my purchase and had $20.00 of loonies, toonies and bills which got the cashier confused. Now another tall skinny guy shows up to the register but does nothing to assist the other 6 customers waiting in line. I had seen three other clerks in the store but none to assist at cash. I realized after I got in the car that I had been charged $64.99, over charged by $15.00. Again I got in line but now there were two other people at the cash, one left. I explained what happened. The cashier blamed me saying they are retail workers and don't need to be treated that way, she got ugly with me to the point I didn't get my original receipt or proof of the refund back. Again I asked where is the help in the store since again there were at least another 6 people behind me. This cashiers face got nasty and she said I am giving you the refund, I said it was your mistake in the first place. She said I had already upset the other cashier, I said it's not my problem if she can't count money. I told the dyed brown haired pony tailed cashier that that I was going to write this review. If the staff has time to blab and tell stories in less than 10 minutes instead of taking care of customers that put money in their pay cheque maybe they should look for other jobs instead of working in retail.

So went in to buy a few things and my daughter who is 6 years old had badly needed to go to the washroom. when i asked they said they didnt have one. then i said really....they said its out of order. for a place that just opened a month ago thats terrible. Customer service was horrible. I ended up leaving my things on the counter and walking out. have no plans of returning. improve your manners. washroom should have been available. especially for my child

The sales associate (Dave) knew his product very well and was able to answer all of my questions. There was one question where he needed to ask his manger (Matt) who was willing and able to assist.
