First of all I was quoted 90$ for a service call,cut and program for my car key(I have the email for proof). They guy showed up half hour late,then after about a hour of him taking phone calls and failing to program my key,he told me he would have to take my dash apart and reprogram the chip in the car. 10 mins later the key started magically working and the car was able to drive. The problem is he never programmed the buttons and said that he was not able to and I'd have to come to his shop. So now my alarm goes off everytime I get in my car. Fast forward to today about 2 weeks later I showed up at their shop wanting to get the buttons programed as that's what I paid for. The lady told me he would be back in 30 mins and that they already did the job even tho the buttons are not working, so I waited outside for 45 mins and then went back in. She told me if I didn't want to wait that I could make a appointment,i told her i already had a appointment and you guys did only half the work. I then proceeded to tell her about my emails with them of them stating the entire job would be 90$ and she then called me CRAZY and that it never happened. She harassed me for about 5 mins over what email I used after I have it to her and showed her the email on my phone she still told me I was wrong. Another 5 mins of her yelling she frantically got 90$ out of the cash register and threw it down on the counter and told me not to come back. Extremely dishonest company and should be shut down

I locked my keys inside my car. I call those guys they offered me the best price, they showed up in 15 minutes and they got my keys out in less than 3minutes. Really recommend this company. Reliable and trustworthy.

We needed our deadbolt on our front door either repaired or replaced. I had bought a new deadbolt but found it would not work in our door, was too short. Had a nice chat on the phone with a gentleman who was also the one who showed up at our house. He told me he could either fix the old one or install my the new lock. He asked what we wanted to do, fix or install the one I bought. I agreed to install new one but warned him that I had already tried. Was not aware that they have been changed from a fixed piece to an adjustable piece since I last installed any doorknobs or deadbolts ! The part that extends into your doorframe can be adjusted from short to regular length ! First time to see this. But in the process of fixing our door got information in regards to being able to get a new car key & key fob from this company! For a lot less than I have come across before today. So very happy with Key It Locks ! Will definitely use them in the future !

Technician came out to unlock my car for me, As i locked the keys in on a cold night. He showed up quickly and let me sit in his truck and warm up while unlocked my car. Was very reasonable with the price, Explained to me how to prevent it from occuring again. Great service will defnitely call back for checking up my front door lock.

Lost a key fob... They replaced that with 2 normal/non-fob keys that have separate purposes. Only one of the keys opens the trunk... Only one of the keys opens the doors... Not sure why they did it like this, but now we have to carry both keys all the time. When we asked about a key fob, he said he couldn't get it... The car is a Pontiac Wave/Chevrolet Aveo. Wouldn't recommend this place.

We were locked out of our hose when our latch broke on a Saturday afternoon. I called a local business who said they'd call back in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes, not only did they not call but they stopped answering the phone. Tried numerous businesses who refused to come out even though they offer 24 hours service. These guys came out even though I was a bit out of their area. They knew I needed help and stepped up. I had them re-key another lock while they were here. Highly recommended!

Let me start off by telling you I called many locksmiths before I chose Key It Locks, when they answered my call the person on the other line was friendly and helpful while they answered my incessant questions. After we agreed that it would be best for me to go to them they took care of my problem in less than 5 minutes AND FOR ONLY $40!! So fingers crossed I'll never need their services again, but if I do, I'm going to save myself the trouble of calling the other guys and go straight to them. They've earned my business.

Terrible customer service. I went three times to get my car key fixed which was replaced by the store but Everytime I went the lady would tell me the technician was not available and to come back. I went after months when I finally got the time because they close early when I am available to go. I do not recommend this place as they charge me for somethign they didn’t do properly and then when I went back I got very poor customer service.

Went to have a simple hyundai car key made with no remote or buttons. I was asked to come back multiple times, wait an hour each time so that the owner could pretend he was doing something. Never got a proper key made and unfortunately wasted so much of my time. Another local locksmith completed the work in 30 minutes. This is the last place i would get a car key made. Never again!

They are not professionals...I called them twice about car remote starter and they said its $380 for my Honda pilot 2010...and I said okay...they said I will go there Friday ( Dec.3) after5:30...so I went there 5:45 p.m and I called them telling that I'm in the parking area but they said that I will be back Sunday at 3:30 p.m...so I went back Sunday ( Dec 5) and go straight to the store, but the guy told me to go back on Tuesday...never recommend this shop to my friends...very unprofessional.

Called last night and explained I needed a key made for my Thule roof top carrier. I had lost the keys, he said bring the to bring in the carrier and it would cost 40 or 50 dollars. I brought it in and also had 2 car keys cut from my originals. He was having difficulty making the key for the Thule and asked if there were two keys for it (one for each side as there are locks one on each side) I explained there was only one key for it. He made two keys for it one for each side and I was charged a total of 113 dollars. I went outside tried both keys on both sides and they worked on both sides. I went back in and explained that the keys worked on both sides and why was I being charged for two keys? The response was that the technician had to make 2 keys because the first one didn't work at first. I explained that I only needed one key and only asked for one key so why were they charging me for 2 keys at 40 dollars apart. The cashier kept saying that the technician needed to make two keys. I couldn't get them to understand I only needed one key. Left in frustration from being overcharged. Would not recommend very shady

I have made use of Key it Locks' services on two occasions now. Both times were on account of problematic door latches; one requiring immediate attention since it was our front door (and it was almost nighttime during the winter), the other less so but still an inconvenience. In both instances, Key it Locks was very responsive to our call and solved our problem in a timely, professional fashion. I would not hesitate to call on this business again for assistance and would recommend it to anyone in need of the services it offers.

Lets start off this guy and his wife are crazy i went in to get a car key made i dont think they know what there doing because they were arguing of what to do alot disagreeing it was very unprofessional it took them 30 min and at the end he told me to come back tomorrow i felt like I really wasted my time . The next day i went to another locksmith it took them 15 and i got a better deal with a more professional service. would not recommend to go to key it locks
