I was locked out of my apartment after losing my keys, and couldn't reach my landlord after trying for over 24 hours. I called on a Sunday, and their employee P. came by and helped me back in after duly checking my identity and asking for proof the apartment was mine. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond what I expected from a locksmith. I got great service from Capital Safe & Lock!

Also they have quietly, behind the scenes, been supporting the local TNR group (Cat Rescue Maritimes Fredericton) by providing space for cats pre and post op for clinics. Brought in a key that Kents couldn't copy, they said it isn't a regular key. Brought it to Capital Safe & Lock and I was told that it's one of the most common home keys. It was done within minutes and only cost $4.50. So happy with the service I'll keep them in mind for any future key needs! And definitely recommending to everyone!

I am a long time customer of this place.....and today i went in for some re-keying.....they refused to serve me because i did not want to wear a mask.....NB is now in Green and the government has lifted the mask mandate.....after explaining this to them, they still did not want to serve me.....they asked me to leave as their store policy is to have everyone wear a mask regardless of government regulations......... i will never ever ever shop here again in my life..... no matter the promo, no matter how much of a bind i am in...these guys lost a customer for life.... nor will i ever recommend this place either....

Service is fantastic, results... well, they work! Professionals at what they do, super quick, super nice. They have a huge selection of key blanks, matched what Canadian Tire couldn't. Prices are slightly higher than C. T., but the service is top-notch. Addendum: yes, their mask mandate is still in place as of the time of writing. Yes, they provide you with a mask if you don't have one. Yes, I'll happily comply -- it's their store, their rules. I can understand they want to be extra-cautious about safety.

I expected a small locksmith shop, but this place is actually bigger than I expected. I was looking for replacement spring latch for an outside door and brought my damaged piece. They had my part in stock and the person at the front desk helped me ensure it was the right part. The person I dealt with was very helpful, polite and professional. While I can't vouch for their mobile service, I definitely recommend this place for all your lock related needs. As far as the price, the part was a few cents more than amazon, price was exactly 20.00$, which in a way I find convenient so its easy to add up in your mind. In case I'm not clear: the price was competitive and reasonable.

We were lucky (stupid) enough to get locked out of our house on Boxing Day. ???????????? Good thing we were at least bundled up and had our cell phones with us. Despite the holiday, Capital arrived promptly and got us back into the house. We’re most impressed that the locksmith insisted to see ID that proves we’re the rightful owner of the house. Pricing was also reasonable given it was an emergency holiday service. Thank you Capital for the very professional service and saving us from freezing. ????????????.

Asked a key for ford fusion 2010, they had the cheapest price with programming but unfortunately for them I had to sell the vehicle before getting a key and they had no problem at all to cancel the order. Haven't use them yet but for sure they became one of the best locksmith of mine.

Really, good helpful service. Bought a used Honda with only 1 key (with programmed chip). When I inquired as to whether Capital could cut and program a second key, they advised ‘yes’. They were able to see me without delay and program and cut the key to the car in 10 minutes. Works perfect and saved aprox 100$ Great, friendly and trustworthy service.
