My Fiance and I bought a house recently and weren't sure what we needed to do as far as locks for the place. They sent a worker out on a Saturday and the worker advised us the best route considering our unique circumstance. (locks were going to be replaced again after 1 month). They did not try to "sell us". They offered a fair and honest opinion and charged me only for the trip. I felt like I wasted their time more than anything (for that I apologize). When it comes time to do our full lock and know replacement we will be calling them again.

This place is the best. I had been having some ignition problems in my 4Runner for some time, but was always able to get my key to turn. Eventually. Then came the time I couldn't. I looked at some options online and decided to pursue the locksmith route instead of calling a Toyota dealership right away, and I'm glad I did. I left Pop-A-Lot a voicemail explaining my situation and where my car was (at this point I had walked home). They called me back immediately, said they could make it over in about an hour, so I walked back to my car and met them. Jeremy was great, didn't seem to mind answering all of my annoying questions, and was able to fix my ignition (permanently) after mentioning that my ignition was one of the worst cases he's had to fix. The price was completely reasonable, only $145.00 for the service call and complicated ignition repair. And I got a an original key cut as well. Will definitely use these guys again for any locksmithing needs I may have. Great work!

Set an appointment for a simple re-key and was given a window from 11-12. They called at four minutes to 12 to let me know they were running late that day and could not make it. This means that I traveled to a location, waited for them, and they did not show. Pop-A-Lock wasted my time, fuel, and energy and were less than apologetic about it. Do not waste your time with these unorganized and inconsiderate individuals - look elsewhere if you value your time. Very disappointed.

AWESOME! I have to give a shout out to Steven with Pop A Lock. After contacting AAA and getting no response after an hour - I called Pop A Lock to help my daughter get her keys out of her locked car. He was there within 30 minutes - unlocked the door in 30 seconds - and gave us the paperwork needed to hopefully get reimbursed with AAA. My honda ignition cylinder/switch thingy went out (apparently this is a common problem for Honda) and I used Pop-a-lock to come fix it for a decent price! After looking at the part price I felt I got a good deal in the end without having to do the work. Pop-a-lock was accommodating of my schedule, friendly, and fast! The only downside was the company not being available to do this specific fix on the weekend but that does not take away from the great service I received in which I would gladly wait through another weekend for Pop-a-lock in the future.

Literally took 5 seconds to get into my car, I drive a BMW, known to be rolling vaults. I was told by the dealership pop a lock was the only guy in northern Colorado who could do it and it was incredibly tricky to do, the only other option was to wait for a key from the dealership with a $350 price tag. So I pay 200$ For spare keys, what they dont tell you is that when you get new keys they deactivate your old key and FOB making them useless. Then they tell me they will come reactivate my fob which was deactivated by them without my knowledge for 85$ why would i spend 200$ on keys only to have to spend another 85$ on a fob which worked fine before they shut it off?? These people are con artists.

These guys are absolutely the best! I have used them a few times and they have saved me so much money the first time. Toyota wanted to charge me over $1200 for a Toyota I needed a key for and their team was able to re-program the computer vs replacing it like Toyota wanted to. Second time I had to use them they were awesome and got me spares I needed for a vehicle and also made me a key fab as well and all super fast! Dave was fantastic. He was super prompt and arrived within 20 minutes. Lock took maybe a minute or two because my landlord is an idiot and put the lock on backwards and gave my roommates and I spare keys that didn't work. He was super friendly and conversational. Told me I should go get a lotto ticket since my bad luck was over. His only stipulation was if I won, he would get half and would pay be back $1.50 for the ticket. Fine by my standards! Really great guy. Also warned me about the scammers who are saying the charge only $19. Told me about a little old lady that got charged $180. Hands down, great service. Would call them first if I ever was in a situation like that again.

Your driver showed up in a reasonable amount of time, was polite, and got me in my truck quickly, that is what got you the 3 stars. However the price I was quoted on the phone did now at all match with what I was charged. I was told, on the phone it was a 60$ fee with extra added based on the difficulty and time it took to get in. I was puzzled when the driver showed up with a ticket already filled out for 110$. As I needed in my truck and needed to be somewhere soon I just paid it. Based on this I any reasonable person could understand why I gave you 3 stars. As far as my postings for other business, when and how I do it is up to me.

We called to request new key fobs for our 2013 truck (the only one we had quick working). They ordered 2 new key fobs & set an appointment to come out to program them within the same week. When Steven arrived he was polite, respectful & clean. There ended up being a problem programming the key fobs to the truck (no fault of Steven or Pop A Lock). He was here for 3.5 hours trying to make it work. It was a frustrating situation for him & he continued to be polite & respectful. He left & scheduled to come back today after he got another key fob to try. He came back today & programmed the new fob without issue. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and specifically Steven. I would highly recommend this company if this service is needed. I will definitely be keeping their information & number.

Poor quility work. Called about a year later having a head injury and not remembering who did my locks because it was done under extreme stress and an emergency late night circumstance. I finaly found the paperwork the other day. Spoke with Steven who we figured out did the locks. Now i was calling to let the company know what poor work i was left with. Example: two doors i cannot lock bc the parts dont meet up. And that issue was from day one. None of the locks all lock in the same direction, so it makes it difficult to know which door is locked whithout having to manualy go and check. Over time locks have shifted and i have had to get them back in place and tighten everything down....... On this call, i wasnt asking for anyone to fix anything. Just to make the company aware. He told me that he was just up to change the locks. While he was here he told me two doors werent cooperating...went to fix them bc i said that didnt work. When he came in to finish the paperwork and get paid he told me everything worked. The very next day i figured out which two doors had problems bc they still had the problems he had come in telling me about. They wont lock. Yes, i take responsability for not going and checking 7 doors during that stressful time and late night call. Go to a different company even if it costs a little more...TRUST me it'll be worth it!

Bought a car with only one keyfob. I was able to order two refurbished OEM keyfobs online but they needed to be programed by dealer or locksmith. I called my goto locksmith but he said he did not have luck with pushbutton keyfobs and recommended giving Pop-A-lock a call. I was greeted right away, told them what I needed. They said they could schedule me in two days at their north Loveland shop, but they could not guarantee that the keyfobs could be program and the service was non-refundable. I stop by at the scheduled time, as I was driving up the tech walked outside and greeted me at the car. In less than 20mins both keyfobs were programed and I was ready to go.
