After being locked out of our home for nearly 12 hours (with 2 young children and an unusually forgetful husband), calling just about every unhelpful locksmith in the area, and damaging ALL of our credit and gift cards trying to break in, Red Key saved us! Our wait time was much longer than expected but this poor guy had a super busy day (he even received additional service calls while he was helping us). He called to update us on his ETA several times, apologized for the wait, was polite and professional, and most importantly, efficient. We were in our home in under 10 minutes from the time he arrived. The labor cost was a little steep but our lock is complex and he definitely worked hard to fix it. He even made additional keys for us! I would absolutely recommend this company. I just hope I never have to use his services again ????

These people are amazing! The guys who came out are very sweet. I lost my only car key, and they came out to my house the same day to help. They were able to create two keys and pair them with my car in 30 min, all for less than what the dealer was asking. Plus, with the dealer I would need to tow my car there and use their shuttle. When they came they were upbeat and friendly, which was great because I was still not too happy about losing the key. I would recommend them to anyone :)

This company is incredible. I was in a jam, I called and asked if they could come out to me. They did, and I got 2 keys and the service for a very reasonable price. It only took about 20 minutes. Terrible customer service, the guy with a slight speech impediment name Ed is very rude and condescending. I had a key made less than 2 weeks ago and it was slightly bent but really caused no issues until now. The key continues to get stuck in my ignition unfortunately. So, I called this am for assistance with how to get the key released. Instead of pleasant help immediately the guy wanted to put another price tag on the service I felt I already paid for to be good for $201.19 receipt number 5433. The guy kept insisting that if the key being bent isn’t the issue can he charge me $70 than tried negotiating $50 if he decides to come help me. He claimed it could be my battery and than said my transmission. Neither were the issue I did go to advance auto to get my battery checked and a local mechanic to tell me that it had to be the key being to bent and getting stuck. However, I YouTubed how to get my key out the ignition VERY EASY AND WILL SAVE YOU MONEY! I had the key released by pressing a button inside the steering wheel. The guy with the speech impediment came to my residence after only being reassured he would be paid to come help, he couldn’t even assist with out being extremely rude and disrespectful so I denied his service and I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, I WILL NOT SUGGEST YOU TO USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL THE OWNER AND WORKERS are EXTREMELY RUDE AND ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY instead of reassuring you after the service you are taken care of.

This was my first experience needing a locksmith and it went better than i ever could have imagined. I needed to have an existing mailbox lock drilled out and replaced with new keys. I wanted to support local businesses, especially during covid. I stopped by their store front and the sign said open but to call the number posted on the door. I called and they said no one could get there soon and before I go to the store from to make sure I saw their vehicle in the parking lot. It was about a week later and I went back and their van was outside so I went in. I was informed by a women that the tech was off because it was his birthday, I said ok and asked if she could cut me the new key for a 2002 F250 and look up key a for a husky truck tool box (which I didn’t have a key for) . The women after about 20 minutes of being lost and making phone calls to who I assumed to be the owner she took my information and said she would reach out to me when they figured it out. She said the tech had to look at it and to call back and make sure that the tech was at the store front. About another week later I call and talk to who I assume was the owner and ask if the tech was at the store front and he that a tech would be there in 3 minutes, I said great I’ll be there in 5. I get there and the same women (who obviously isn’t the tech) opens the store front and we we are now back to the same place I was last time. She takes my info again and tells me the tech will do it at my house by the end of the day......time rolls by and I hear nothing. I call the phone number again and the guy tells me that they are book till late next week. This company is very unorganized and has terrible customer service, I can’t speak to how well they are at making keys. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, you will most likely be run in circles and not get what you need.

Quoted one price for 85 for call and 65 for parts = 155. I need a plate he put it on an charged me 195.00 . He only had 1 on his truck said he be back later that day but I said you definitely will have it by Friday never showed or called this other plate on a door knob would cost me 25.00 more. Rather pricey . The products he used feels cheap.

We had Zach come to rekey our new house and he did a FANTASTIC job. He checked with us regarding everything we wanted done, did it efficiently and with minimal disruption to what else was going on in the house. He had a great sense of professional integrity when it came to putting new cylinders in our existing doors. Our only complaint (which still didn't matter enough to affect the 5-star rating!) was they were over scheduled for the day. Our appointment was for noon-1, but were told it would be closer to 4. Zach was sent over around 2, while we were out, but was willing to wait the 15 minutes for us to return.

I lost my key F.A.S.T. FOB to my 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander. I initially contacted the local dealership whom did not have my key in stock and needed to order it, all the while requiring my car to be at the dealership (i.e. towed from my house). I proceeded to contact other locksmiths who stated explicitly they couldn't do the job and I would have to go directly to the dealership. I decided to give Red Key a call because their website stated they can explicitly replace "chip" keys. After being assured on the phone that they had a key and would be able to perform the job, they came to me to replace the FOB and in a few minutes I was up and running again. They were also competitively priced. In the end, they saved me time and money my being able to perform the job remotely at my house. I'm extremely pleased with the prompt, quality, service from them and have no issues recommending them. Thanks!

I took my car to get a new key fob programmed. After two and a half hours not only was the new one not programmed but the old one didn't work either and my car wouldn't start !! The car had absolutely no problems when I brought it to him!!! After letting him play with the car for two days with no success I had it towed to a dealer. Long story short after 5 days I got my car back and it cost me $1213.00 !!! I don't know how anyone can say he's affordable when it was cheaper to have the fob programmed and to have the key cut at the dealer. I went to him with a more than fair settlement offer and he refused !!! The worst experience I've ever had and now my lawyer WILL GET involved !!!! Don't use this company , not at all professional or trustworthy. Everyone I know will hear about this terrible ordeal !! It's funny how every bad review is not your fault and the vehicle has absolutely no rust on the body or under carriage and it mechanically well maintained. Nice try to CYA but bottom line is the vehicle ran perfect and in a matter of two and a half hours you killed my battery, the security system was screwed up and the vehicle wouldn't start !!!!???? Drive in and tow out after messing with the vehicle for three days ????? Lol nice try

I highly recommend using Red Key LLC when in need! I had accidentally left my storage unit lock keys in a car that I totaled and didn’t realize until my moving day.
