ASAP Mobile Locksmiths are really great. While you may know them for roadside assistance, they also do household locksmithing. We moved into a new home and needed to change our locks, which included installing an electronic lock. Rob, the ASAP Mobile Locksmith that helped us, installed the complicated lock properly and walked us through how to operate it. We had tons of questions about the lock, and he was more than happy to walk us through everything to ensure we knew the ins and outs of the lock. The great thing about using a mobile locksmith is they can make keys right onsite. We wanted a number of keys made, so Rob--in what seemed like no time--made us the number of keys we needed. By the way, all of the key work great; I have so often had keys made at a hardware store that just don't fit right or don't work). I had no idea how complicated installing locks is, so I am happy I called ASAP to install them professionally. I fully intend to call them again.

We had lost our keys while visiting Buffalo over a holiday weekend and had been previously told by two other locksmith companies that they could not help us over the long weekend, even though they were listed as a 24/7/365 business. Over the phone, we were assured by ASAP Mobile Locksmiths that they could help and would be there within 30 minutes. When the gentleman arrived, he was incredibly helpful and professional, letting us know exactly what he was doing and how long it would take. It can not be easy dealing with customers when they have lost something as important as their keys, but he was exceptionally kind and reassuring. Called to ask if they were looking for apprentices and whoever picked up was incredibly rude and dismissive Unless your paying, I guess your not worth common courtesy. My guess is that you can get a cheaper smith elsewhere. Sort of makes you think about the type of people your letting into your home.

This was the perfect experience, with locksmiths who are extremely honest in their work, and are committed to giving you the full details of the situation. I haven't been able to turn the key in my lock in my car for 2 days and have tried everything under the sun. I thought I was going to have to replace the ignition lock cylinder and get it drilled out. I first called in earlier in the morning and explained my situation, they first said to get a dry lubricant and go out spray it in etc. etc. They said of course we would like business, but only when they really need to come. That commitment, given the fact of losing a service call, is extremely admirable. From there, I followed their advice, and unfortunately it didn't work. So I called back in and asked for them to come out, and they were there WITHIN 30 MINUTES. Rob came out friendly with his tools, and found a way to fix it, and then spent 10 minutes explaining to me all of the options that I had. I ended up only paying $65 for the service call which gave me my car back, when I was expecting to have to replace the entire cylinder for hundreds. He was very clear that he couldn't guarantee that it would just keep working, but explained why he believed there was a very good chance it would. He gave me the breakdown of how the locks work, why it has been an issue with my particular model, maintenance advice, and much more. I could tell you everything he said, but he'd be more than willing to give you the advice himself so bottom line, I rarely find a more honest contractor, with fair prices. Give them a call.

After work yesterday, while I was brushing off my car to leave (it had snowed all day and was continuing at that time), my car doors all locked on me. My keys were in the ignition and the car was running with my purse and phone inside. I used a co-worker's phone to call AAA who said they would be at least 90 minutes. At that time my co-worker recommended Rob at ASAP. Rob was at my location within a half hour (even though the roads were a mess and driving was very slow). He was fast, efficient, and very polite! I highly recommend Rob at ASAP and will definitely be calling him for any future locksmith needs that I might have. Thanks again Rob for getting me out of there long before I would've been! AAA sent my request for a locksmith to this company the person who worked on my ignition key was kind and let me know the price because my key had a chip in it it was about $398 for the first key to be cut then the second key was $70 AAA pays $100 towards replacement of keys so I ended up paying $268 plus tax the thing that sucks about keys nowadays is the chip they put in em. He said it would take about 30 minutes up to 3 hours to cut and program the key. Took him about an hour after starting very cordial and they accept credit cards and checks

Just wanted to tell all you guys how very valuable your information was. My husband had turned the wheels of our 2013 Chevy Impala all the way to the left! When I got in I couldn't turn the ignition, wheel or anything, I was pretty frustrated. I read about how cars, esp. with ABS can be touchy, especially about having the wheels "over-turned". You guys also said that having lint & dust bunnies in the ignition can cause the ignition not to move! I noted atop the steering wheel there was quite a bit of dust, (and we have a very clean car!)so I followed the directions concerning spraying the ignition and key with electrical lubricant. I couldn't believe it I turned it only 4 times and it totally worked! I truly appreciate your help & also probably saving me a hundred dollars! Instead I paid 10 cents worth of lubricate! My car was located at a school with thousands of other students vehicles and after receiving a warning that the driver was about to be there, i walked out and the driver was right next to my car. It was only a few moments before i was driving off in my car with a brand new set of keys with a smile on my face!
