Charged $400 to program a key with fob, after 3 visits and spending several hours their key was not OEM and did not detect vehicle. I provided my original key to program. They refused to give me the fob that I have already paid for, stating he had to spend more money to program my own key... Not happy with the service, and I will let my partners in the dealership game aware. If I wanted to program my key only, I could’ve done it for $180 without wasting several hours.

Our service provider showed me what he was doing every step of the way. Warned me of what he may not be able to accomplish and ultimately was able to get me a key that started my car in time for me to leave for an interview. I was locked out of my truck, due to a rusty locking mechanism. Not only did Vladimir show up as promised, he also stayed until late into the evening to make sure my vehicle was unlocked and accessible. I had lost my key fob for my Hyundai Santa Fe and in looking for a replacement, I took three routes. First I checked with the Hyundai dealer which turned out to be very expensive, then tried to go the cheap route and got key fobs from the internet...and subsequently could not get them reprogrammed at another place as they were tied to a VIN number, and after much frustration had to request our money back for the key fobs plus the programming fee. Finally we found Montys Locksmith who were very professional and within half an hour programmed a functional key.....and for less than half the price of the dealer. They even offered to drive to our location to program a key for us. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and kudos to Joseph in particular. We highly recommend Montys Locksmith.
