I love my high heels.. I mean LOVE them. I'm not the most gentle on them as I wear them at work, but they repair everything beautifully and its very well priced! I'd rather pey them and keep a good little business going than pay some whantnot that doesnt care :)

Took a pair of very expensive shoes (1k+ retail) in to get the vibrammed and to have two side snaps replaced. When I got them back the leather sole had huge sloppy scuff on the side from being sanded down, even tearing away at the soft leather in places! The snaps were not replaced and instead had a metal bar put it which made the boots very difficult to put on and off. Even after all this, the vibram at the tip of the sole starting peeling immediately!!! I took them back and they reglued the peeled vibram and replaced the bar with a working snap for free but this was just ridiculous. The worst was this cost me 90$, I wouldn't accept this service if it were free.

It is rare when my expectations of service and technical competency are surpassed, but Hiltz Shoe Repair did just that. My favourite boots had synthetic decorative straps that were fraying and falling apart making the boots unwearably shabby. I'd already tried to have them replaced by a shop in Halifax, but it was a "no go". Hiltz took on the job, consulted with me a couple of times as to what type of leather to use, hand cut the straps, replaced all the rivets and re-used the buckles resulting in a better looking pair of boots than when new. I'm so extremely pleased. These folks are true artisans.

A squirrel got a hold of my Longchamp purse, tore one of the leather straps and completely chewed through the zipper. I thought it was damaged beyond repair but decided to take it to Hiltz, I had nothing to loose. They had done great work on boots for me before, and also gave me great advise on the use of leather products. Not only did they replace the zipper, the repair of the strap was a piece of art. They made sure that all the stitching (in contrasting colour) where the straps meet the body of the purse matched on all 4 points, so the purse did not end up looking "repaired". I am well pleased and highly recommend this business. The service is always friendly and the workmanship is outstanding.

Worst service ever!!! Wish I had taken a picture of my Sandals before I took them in for “repair”! He scratched up all the back of the sandals while putting new lifts on and want to charge me more to fix what he did!!!

Thought I was getting a good deal, $25 to have the soles glued. Could have done a better job myself. I now own a $150 pair of winter dress boots with yellow glue that ozzed out and hardened that i can no longer wear out.
