Absolute nightmare. My locksmith was so rude and aggressive. (Never gave me his name.) I have never dealt with this kind of attitude with any business or establishment. Even with all this, plus paying them money, my key issue is STILL not fixed. I called for a different locksmith to come out but they sent the same exact guy again. I also called to complain about this locksmith and they just said they would call me back. I still have not received a call. This transaction would have been so easy and painless if the locksmith had even one inch of respect in him.

I paid $387 for a replacement fob for my car and it stopped working 2 days later. I called Rocket for service and they advised me multiple times over a 3 hour period that they would have a technician contact me. No one ever did. Never came out. I was left stranded for 3 hours in an unsafe neighborhood (I advised the customer service rep of this several times)I had to have my vehicle towed and contact another locksmith and pay another $350 to have the car reprogrammed and a replacement fob (just to be able to work). My job requires me to be mobile...so it is extremely important that my car is up and running. I have contacted them several times and offered to return the fob as well as show them in person the fob is not programmed to my vehicle. I also have receipt and new fob from 2nd locksmith as proof. I have requested a refund several times and they keep giving me the run around and are now screening my calls. The service reps hang up in your face and refuse to provide a physical location or manager information. I have reported this business to the BBB. Eta: I contacted a 2nd locksmith after 2 days of getting the run around and hung up on. I offered to show you that the fob does not work as well as proof of me having to pay another locksmith. No technician was offered until I started requesting a refund. They have also stated they will not give me a refund due to having placed bad reviews.

I needed a new set of keys programmed to a Ford Ranger's ECM for the Passive Anti Theft Security System. They guy that showed up didn't have a clue what he was doing but tried to act like he did. He wanted to start replacing parts at a cost of $600.00 so I paid him the $30.00 for showing up and sent him on his way. Luckily i was able to use FORSCAN and program the key to memory and now have no issues.

They ONLY operate out of an apartment complex so if you have any additional concerns after you get serviced, you will not receive any additional help after they've taken your money! They really do not have any warranty!! They will overcharge you, take your money, and you will never hear from them again!! They won’t mention it but there’s a cost for them to arrive until you refuse their outrageous prices. The driver will say $50 but their customer service will say it’s only $19.99.

My daughter went out with friends and she locked my keys in the car. I called and the dispatcher was taking all my info, but trying to rush me off the phone. I had to interject and ask....what is the price. He said $35 to unlock the car and $19 to come out. I said okay. I figured it was so cheap because my daughter was stuck in the vicinity of the base operation. I wasn't with my daughter, but they said I'd be allowed to pay over the phone. However, the technician told me daughter a price of 100 sumthin dollars....they called me back and said now that the tech knows the type of job he has to do, the charge is 85. I said, that's not what was quoted to me prior. After they said that, I checked GOOGLE and more than one person is saying this is common practice. They refused to honor the price that I was quoted and said $35 was a BASE RATE. The techs don't know how much they'll charge until they get there, see the car, etc. I told the dispatcher the make, model, year and exactly how the keys and windows were situated.....how can you NOT how much you going to charge....?? I will NEVER call them again, nor will I be forwarding their number to anyone who needs help..... UPDATE: September 2, 2020 I DID NOT MISINTERPRET ANYTHING. IF THIS IS THE CASE, TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO EXPLAIN THAT IT IS A BASE RATE WHEN WE CALL THE FIRST TIME!!! I'M DEFINITELY AFFENDED THAT IT WAS IMPLIED THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND WHAT IS SAID TO ME. I PRIDE MYSELF WITH BEING AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE. The owner of the company says that a service is NEVER $35.....SO why is that the base rate?? 2 DIFFERENT PEOPLE TOLD ME $35 + $19, one told me it was a base rate...the other one said that was the price. The service was well done. I just had to have a deadbolt lock replaced. Overall good work. However, the cost was exorbitant!! $254 ! On top of the fee to just come and look ($29), I was charged $100/ hour of labor, plus the lock of course ($60). The guy stayed 25 minutes at max. and I timed. When I asked if my old key would match, which you kind of expect when you replace your lock, I had to pay a $40 extra for the re keying. I am not a locksmith, but I am not stupid, it took about 40 seconds to re key the lock. The guy was not wearing a mask.... I cannot recommend this company mainly for the crazy pricing.

If I could leave no stars, I would. What a terrible experience with this locksmith. We traveled to Kansas City this past weekend to attend a memorial for my husband's sister. We lost our key to our rooftop box. I believe we were overcharged to unlock the box ($299 plus tax), as the very unprofessional locksmith , Dakota (and company )saw an opportunity to take advantage of a really stressful and sad situation. It is what it is. That's not really the part I'm reviewing. Unfortunately, that's not the worst part. Dakota, the locksmith, left a piece of equipment behind at my in-laws house. My husband gave him a window in the morning to retrieve it as the memorial service was at the home in the afternoon. Dakota came late in the afternoon and walked right in front of my in-laws crying into microphones with 100+ people mourning. He literally interrupted my mother-in-law's tribute to her daughter to ask her where the equipment was . . . We were shocked and extremely disappointed by this lack of compassion. My husband contacted the company to complain and we received a pathetic apology from the locksmith. I do not recommend Rocket - I have also seen the owner rudely reply to the negative comments on here and call them all Fake reviews. I can't imagine how he will excuse this one. For the record, this is not fake. We live in TN and we made the call for a locksmith Saturday evening 7/24/21. Dakota was our locksmith. We have an invoice to prove so. I imagine there's plenty of competition to choose from in the KC area - I'd recommend choosing anyone else. After the owner's comment, I've attached our invoice. We called the number on their site, and Dakota came. We just called the number on the invoice to be sure it was, in fact, Rocket since the name is not the same, and it is. Poor service all around. Even the owner's bully response.

They told me the price to unlock my car would start at $55. I asked them what it go up to and the lady would only say $55 to start. The guy came after about an hour and it took him less than 5 min to unlock my car but they charged me $146 dollars - they added on fees, charged almost 3 times what they said they would for the unlock fee, and charged me 9% for taxes.

The gentleman that came to service us was fantastic. I appreciated his timely manner and he was very kind. BUT I was extremely disappointed at the misleading given when I called to begin. I asked ON AVERAGE what the cost is to get your car unlocked. I was told a flat 19.97. I was NOT told that is the SERVICE fee to show up. I was NOT told an additional price is added on. So I ended up paying $95 - which sure isn’t completely unreasonable. But this type of tactic to get clients is not ethical. This is misleading people to accept their services.

I called for service around 2:00 , the receptionist told me i'd receive a call back in 3-5 minutes. It took a while. I had already given the make, model, and location to her. When the locksmith finally called back he asked the same questions yet again. And quoted $29.99 to come get the keys out. I asked specifically what the entire quote was, not just for them coming out. He says he cant give me that until he assesses what type of car it is and the tools he needs.....dude....I legit gave all of that information twice as to the type of car. He gets here well past his estimated time and arrives with an officer who says he's training him and suddenly its $170 ! Even beyond their max price quote from the website. So I declined the service and asked to simply pay their fee for coming out and the officer pipes up and says he has some type of deal where they can charge it as if it's a different car. And says they will charge $75. I had already handed over 30 for them coming out. Thinking he meant $75 total I offered to tip if he cut it that drastically. They wait until they pop the lock to say its $75 on top of the $30 I already handed them. Slick talking con artists. F*ck this place and I'll never reccomend them. Be honest with people and dont try to fast talk your way into a transaction. Good on you that you got the company $105 but what you lost them was a customer who is clumsy and frequently needs this type of service and like to refer new clients. Shame, you all seemed very professional until it really got down to it. Upset to the point im thinking about looking into a lawyer, I have camera with audio above my garage that caught every word.

Horrible service. It felt like the representative and driver were in on a prank or joke and I was the recipient. After confirmation of the appointment for immediate services, I waited for an hour with no responses only to be told that they scheduled me for another day after we all confirmed that I needed assistance at the time of the call. This is one of the worst companies that I’ve ever done business with. My boyfriend’s car key got broke in the ignition. I had called for a quote on removing the key as well as making a new key. The technician that called me back told me that he could not give me a quote without being there but a key could start at $120. I told him that I would be back in touch after I relayed the information. Shortly after that The lady from the office called me and told me that she had my appointment all set up for me. I explain to her I only wanted a she then proceeded to get rude with me but quoted me $160-$180 for extraction and a copy, I told her I would be back in touch with her after I relay the information. My boyfriend called them when he got home they came out after he had already extracted the key and made him a new key however they charged him double what they quoted me. When I got home the lady then called me and asked if I still needed the appointment I explained to her that a tech had already been out and charged us double. She then proceeded to argue with me saying she had no record of it and then hung up on me. I then called the tech from master locks that made the key he was busy and said he would call me back. I then called rocket locksmith back And told her I had just spoke with the tech he would be calling me back but he was in fact at my house she proceeded to tell me she had no record when I asked for a boss or a supervisor she said she doesn’t give out that information and hung up on me again. The tech from master lock eventually called me back and said they would get the problem taken care of and get in touch with me I have not heard another word from either. I will never do business with this company again, and most definitely wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy!!

They were 2 hrs late. Charged my daughter $500 for a key. They operate from a apt complex. Hung up on me every time I called for additional assitance. They have now blocked us from fb in order to avoid any of our reviews except for here. Be aware!! All of the 4 and 5 stars are fake! Also, the response on here to their bad reviews are super unprofessional!!! Take your money elsewhere!!
