I had just picked up my boyfriend from the airport and it was after 10pm on a weekday when I realized we were locked out. I called a few locksmith companies in the area but R.J. Lock & Security was the only one who answered. Not only did they get to me fast but the employee was happy to help; totally thought he was going to be mad that I made him come out so late, but not at all! Sooo grateful for them, seriously, what a life saver.

Saved our vacation! Turns out I've been holding onto my Skins key for longer than I should have, and when it broke off in the deadbolt I thought it would have to be drilled. NOPE! Pete was able to not only pull out the broken half but also make a new one! WOW! When I asked for a Redskins key he told me he had keys in any color I like...so long as I like chrome. LOL! Called them about an issue regarding a faulty lock, I was informed that they didn't have a technician in the area. I live in OCMD, and they claim to service the Ocean City area. Poor service.

Customer Service was good but price of my key was $13.50 each for elevator keys that they are the ONLY ONES you can purchase it from in the entire area maybe state..( last time I ordered keys thru them I only paid about $2.50 per key... ridiculous $13.50)

The employees were nice and everything but nobody was wearing masks... Which made me very uncomfortable. I went in to get a car key fob programmed so the lady had to sit in my driver's seat to do that... With no mask!!!! Guys come on the pandemic is not new we've had to wear masks forever now :/

These folks are professional and know what they are doing. I had 8 keys made, and all fit perfectly. I used to get keys at Home Depot, and it was hit or miss. For only a few dollars more, RJ does it right.

We had a fantastic experience with R.J. Lock and Security. We drove 3 hours with 3 kids and a dog to our OC condo to find out our keyless lock stopped working randomly. I called them after losing the last transponder key to my personal truck. I had their number because they’re also the only approved locksmith for the organization I work for (since before I even started). Lisa fielded the call amazingly and the very next day Mike came out and got it fixed for exactly what I was quoted. I had called around and talked to other places and they still came out as the best in not only price but availability and it was completed right away. I can’t say enough about this group. Twenty years in commercial and residential service work tells me that they have a customer satisfaction model that can’t be beat.

Great service and fair prices. No wonder this company was recommended to me by quite a number of people. I received a phone call asking if I was in town (I was coming from PA). I was in Rehoboth so she said he would do another job then come to me. About 45 minutes later, another call to check if I was home. I was, so he came over...about an hour earlier than my appointment. Love it!! I explained what our need was. He quickly gathered what he needed and did the job. He then showed me how I could change the key if I ever needed to. He was very personable and pleasant. Our dog definitely liked him. She laid on his foot as he was finishing up! We will definitely recommend this company to friends.

I went outside to check the mail. I was supposed to be out all of two seconds. Luckily- I had my phone with me so I could catch up on emails as I walked down the driveway. Unfortunately for me- my rager of a two year old wasn’t happy that she couldn’t come. She slammed the door as I walked out, hard. The front door shut and was in the locked position so I couldn’t get back in. The spare was still sitting on the counter from the last time I got locked out. I started panicking of course, and checked all windows. Locked!! But then I remembered the FANTASTIC company that my friend, Terry, had just used to change her locks. (Crazy ex). So I looked up RJ Locksmith and gave them a call. Pete said he was on a break- but after hearing my situation, dropped everything to come right over!! He was there in less than 10 minutes!! Pete was professional, courteous, and safety conscious. He wore his mask, had an ample supply of hand sanitizer in his truck and kept a comfortable distance the entire time!! Pete got me back into the house in no time, suggested a “keyless entry” system and made ANOTHER spare right on the spot!! Pete even had a little treat in his van for my angry toddler..... so thoughtful!! Not only would I recommend RJ Locksmith to all my friends and family... I would consider the employees to be like family!!! Thank you again RJ Locksmith!!

My key broke in two pieces while on vacation at the beach. R.J lock came out to Rehoboth Beach on a Sunday cut me two keys from what was left of my key. They arrived in a reasonably short time frame and offered excellent service at a more than fair price!
