I have an older house with older locks. I couldn't find a replacement for a lock that had a lost key. I was able to remove the lock and take it to this location. they reconditioned the lock and cleaned up the innards mechanisms. They created a new key in an acceptable time frame. I will go to them for everything locks. I was even thanked for bringing in a unique item.

I went to this company in urgent need of a key fob and they were much cheaper than any other I had found. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the lady was rude and lacking in customer service. I was really impressed at first but when I said “are you on Facebook I’d like to leave you a review” and her response was “please don’t “ and walked away. No thank you for your business or I’m glad we could help you etc. The person who referred me to this business states this lady is awesome and really knows her stuff. I agree! Just wish they were a little more friendly and had a better customer service attitude. However I will return!

I used to like Mayfair Key & Lock, now I love them. We have gone to them for quick, affordable, old-fashioned keymaking with charmingly grumpy customer service since moving into the neighborhood two years ago. But this weekend, our car was broken into, and the brilliant thieves tried to use one of my wife's earrings to start the car, with no luck, breaking it off deep in the ignition. We were sure we were facing a $200-$300 price tag for towing and dismantling of the steering column. Mayfair, just a block away, sent a guy with a lock pick, who got the junk out and got us running again for $60, which we were happy to pay. Thanks again, Mayfair Lock.

They seem to have a good selection and have a lot of in-house expertise, but working with them was difficult. I came in looking for a Medeco cylinder, but the guy at the counter just kept bringing my various Schlage locks. I appreciate the suggestion but I really just wanted to see one specific line of locks and I'm not sure why he was so reluctant to show them to me, instead just telling me "oh they're pretty expensive." Finally someone else came out and told me that their Medeco guy is out and that I could leave my number and he'd get with me. No one got with me. I went and bought a Bowley lock instead.

Huge shout out to Mayfair Key and Lock!! I was searching for "the impossible" key - a 2002 key from a company that is no longer making cars. I spoke to locksmiths and they told me to talk to dealerships. I spoke to dealerships and they told me to find a locksmith. I checked to the ends of the Internet when finally, a global customer service rep told me that Mayfair could help me.... during my search, I had been told to expect prices between $150s to $260 - but what else could I do.... Mayfair took the key code and made a key (in about 10-15 min) BAM! $4.50!!!!!!!!!! They also ordered me the remote (I had been told these were not able to be ordered). What super fun guys they were too! These gentlemen take pride in their work and provide a service that's not available elsewhere. If I ever need a locksmith again, I'll be back!

Can I give them 0 stars?!? I won’t exaggerate at all like people enjoy doing in reviews and will give actual quotes. I called because we are setting up a store in the area. We fly in Wednesday evening and are setting up all day Thursday then Friday morning. I called Monday and scheduled for Thursday afternoon. The guy (no name, but had an accent) was super nonchalant and didn’t even give a specific time, so I called Thursday about 1:30 just to confirm we were still on the schedule and someone was coming. The lady said she remembered my name and that they had set the appointment, just needed to check with the technician in the field on his arrival time, then proceeded to ask when I booked the appointment, my name (REALLY?!? You just said you remembered my name on the appt) and my phone number (which should have also been with my name!). She said she’d call the technician to get an arrival time and get back to me. So, I went back to work. About 2 hours later I decided to call to check on things and, I’m not kidding you at all, I had the exact same conversation as above with the exact same woman. The only difference was when she said she would call the technician and give me a call back I asked for an estimated time and she definitively said 30mins or less. At 25mins later I started calling around to other locksmiths and found someone else to complete the job, which was a good thing because it’s now a day and a half later and I still haven’t heard from them. Nope, OKC, don’t do it. Let this company die.

Made keys for company truck. Ignition, camper key, and latter lock key. Made them all right the first key cuts. Two other places couldn't do what they did and cost less per key too. Save the headache and go here even if it's a little farther because you can practically guarantee that they will have your key and save time by not having to walk back and forth to the car to see if the next cut works that time.

Justin from Mayfair came to rekey our locks after we closed on our new house. It was a challenge as there were several doors, some of which had strange locks. Justin walked through the house with me and discussed all the options available, including sharing his knowledge of home security regarding how someone might gain access through various doors. He was able to find a solution for each door and was very patient in explaining how things work. In addition, the office staff were very pleasant and competent. I told her multiple times that I couldn't take off work to come in and have her fix her mistake, she stated that she couldn't pay someone to come to me to fix her mistake. Was greeted by woman who said "oh you bought this cheap junk" After the fobs were programmed she came back in she told a guy behind the counter that one of the fobs couldn't be programmed. His reply "oh well not our problem" So if you enjoy being treated like garbage, enjoy this place! Sorry I'm not buying your $65+ transponder keys Mayfair!!! Anyone that needs transponder keys go to Amazon, I got mine for $8, most of the time u can program keys yourself with the included instructions. You can find a better place to get them cut rather than Mayfair. They obviously don't want to cut keys that they don't rip you off with. Same with key fobs, they are cheap on Amazon also, prime 2 day shipping, can't beat it! Usually they are easily programmed with instructions, but I happened to have a car that needed their computer to hook to car in order to program them. Sad thing is I was directed to Mayfair by the instructions from the company that sells the fobs. So I will give them feedback also on the poor customer service being carried out by a vendor they promote.
