If i could give a 10 star rating I would. The dealership told me my ignition was unrepairable and that it would cost a 1100.00 for parts and labor. after some thought and trying to weigh out my options I decided to call Don's for a second opinion, i explained my situation and they explained that it should be easily repairable without replacing the entire igintion and that 4 out of the the 5 service calls they take are for the same issue i was having. The techinician repaired it in under 15 minutes which he told me was unheard of and that it usually takes over an hour and it only cost a 140.

After going for two years with a key that was worn down to nothing but a nub I figured there was practically no way to get a key for my car without going to a dealership and paying some ridiculous and unnecessary price for $0.05 worth of metal. But I stopped by Don's and they were able to figure it out based of a manufacturer's code imprinted on a certain lock casing in the car. I got two brand new fully teethed keys for a decent price. I had to wait a bit because they were quite busy, but they did a great job.

From the gentleman that answers the phone and schedules to the locksmith himself service was friendly, professional and informative. Prompt calls were made to let us know the locksmith was on his way and when he arrived he was very thorough. He suggested and made a plain key- that should we lock the keys in the vehicle again- we could atleast open the door. (Saves from purchasing a chip key and another locksmith charge) Such a great company. I recommend highly!

Disappointed. I went in for three things. 1) Cut a car key blank - ended up with a bad fit. It will turn with some fiddling. It's for a spare so I'll live with it. But there's no way I could use this as my main car key. $10 2) Cut a new key. I had a working key. I wanted a new key with the same bidding just rearranged (long story). - Got a new key that didn't match the bidding of the existing key pins. Going to go to another locksmith to get this remade. $10 3) Replace a spring, two key-pins, and one security driver pin. - This one is mostly okay, but the new driver pin isn't a security pin (all of the rest on this lock are security pins). So a little disappointed but at least this lock turns with the key. $5

I've used Don's several times and have always been happy with their level of service, but today they hit it out of the park. Of course, the night before our holiday travel, we realized that the person who ransacked our vehicle stole our Thule box keys. We needed the box for our trip and were stuck. I went by Don's, and they found the key and made it within an hour. Mind you, they were swamped and didn't think they could get to it, but they came through. That level of customer service is so rare.

I highly recommend using Don's Lock Shop if you want quick and efficient service.The locksmith was friendly, knowledgeable and had strong work ethics. When I walked into their shop to have 10 keys made, the locksmith asked a few questions and thought it best to drive over to the building to check that all keys would unlock the doors smoothly. He tested each key and was able to reuse 6 and only needed to have 4 new ones made. Thank you for taking the extra step to ensure good quality work.

We were locked out of our house by our 5yr old on a Sunday evening (after 7PM), and Don's was the first/only locksmith we could find that was open and willing to come out. There was a delay in their arrival (car trouble, no fault of theirs), and our locks turned out to be a bear to crack. However, they did get the job done and despite our insistence they refused to take payment because of the delays. They certainly earned their fee, but I do appreciate that level of customer service. They were very friendly and professional. We will absolutely use Don's again if needed in the future and will recommend them any chance we get!

I broke my car key in half. Service tech answered the phone immediately at 9:30PM, gave me my options, showed up 20 minutes later to where my car was parked, cut my new key in about 5 minutes, and charged almost half of what the first guy we called would have. Gave us the plain key he cut with the old chip attached to it so we would also have an emergency key. He also wrote our key code on the invoice in case we want to get another one cut. He turned a bad night into a better one!

Have taken 2 vehicles to them. The first one they tried to program a key/remote I brought in and told me the the remotes were messed up, as I ordered them online. I took the remotes to the dealership and they programmed them with no problem. Seems Don''s personnel does not know how to do it. 2nd vehicle they attempted to program was also not fully successful. They said again that the remotes were faulty as lock buttons will not work. Again inability and blame someone else. Turns out they were not aware that to program the lock button the remote lock on vehicle door must be pushed. Rude and terrible customer service. Take caution in doing business with them.

I don't like making my own keys in a kiosk and this is the only brick and mortar full service locksmith that I could find in Norman. Glad I could find them. I will do business with them again.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. My key broke out of my key fob while traveling for Labor Day weekend, and I called countless dealerships for assistance on getting the car to still start (I could still turn the key with a wrench), but with no luck. With the help of some duct-tape, I was able to make it home and to Don's Mobile Lock Shop. They didn't have my exact key fob in stock, but were able to make a similar one work. I would have paid $60 more if I had gone to one of the dealerships. They were incredibly helpful and kind, and even showed me how I could have started the car with the key and fob separated (the exact thing I had called the dealerships about). I wish I would have just called them the moment it happened. It would have saved me hours of trouble!
