My first encounter was pleasant. When I called them again to replace a lock, they quoted me a cheaper fee than the one they charged on the spot, claiming that the inset was longer. However, the size of the inset has no bearing on the price, and it was all a ruse. When I asked for a copy card that came with keys, the individual on site tried to claim that it was a particular secure lock because of our door, then backpedaled from the remark. When we asked for an explanation about the location, the individual was really unpleasant. This occurred after he had extracted the lock out, putting us in a precarious position. I'm going to avoid that in the future.

Went for a battery for my car remote, handed my keys over and one guy who asks another, "Hey do we have batteries for a Volvo?" and the guy answers "Nope, won't touch em!" and the other guy hands me my keys back with the two finger pinch extended arm....They did however refer me to someone else which was nice of them but not sure if it was my car or me that they didn't "want to touch", didn't get an explanation... (My response to your response..."Apparently you did not read my review because you did not address my 'you didn't want to touch' comment, with the racial tensions that this country is facing of course I have reason to be concerned by the attitude I got...your response speaks volumes because you went out of your way to try to humiliate me by assuming that something is wrong with me when the only time I give a review is when something IS WRONG with the company...furthermore I will go out of my way to avoid your business which was probably your intent in the first place)

I called asking for quote for new vehicle key and programming, then asked how much was the key itself. Then I was hung up on after being told "You ask too many questions, I'm sorry I cannot help you." I know they are probably taxed, but this was highly unprofessional.

On the day of October 2, 2018 I called to see if they could help me with getting a key fob for my car...the first person I spoke with was very informative and friendly. I decided to look around and told the man that if I wanted their services I would call back. I called back and started a conversation with a different man who stated “I’m not the person you talked to before let me get him” for whatever reason he stayed on the phone. I went on to say I wanted there services and asked the cost. I asked him did they take a down payment because some of them do and he said nah If you need to pay the $300 today and immediately after said “what type of place do you think this is” and hung up on me!!!! Needless to say I was only asking to see because like I said other locksmith places take a deposit over the phone before they come out. He was very rude and obviously is out of touch on the way you should act and talk to customers. I think he needs some classes in good customer service cause he lacks that a lot!!!! 1/09/2019- In your reply you lied there was no argument....I asked a question you got hostile said what you said and hung up! I didn’t get to say anything. You don’t have to lie this review is what happened on that day you just made up the insisting and arguing part! Have a nice new year sir.

The locksmith was obnoxious and obnoxious. He continued to yell at me despite the fact that he knew I needed to speak with the house owner before taking any further actions to modify the lock. As a woman, I felt quite vulnerable and was pressured into paying for the simple act of removing the key plate from the door rather than changing the locks. Finally, the service was terrible, and the price was outrageous!!! They need to do a better job of vetting their contractors.

Despite giving them all the facts of the job, I was severely misquoted on the phone. I was quoted for labor, but the technician that arrived was not. Before the technician began the job, I was informed of this over the phone. He stated that he would not begin until the pricing had been finalized with the company. I informed them I didn't want it done once they confirmed the pricing. I then receive a phone call from the firm informing me that he had somehow unlocked the door and that I would be required to pay them for the service. He hadn't, however, opened the door. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM

Absolutely terrible customer service skills over the phone. Didnt get to use their service so cant say about their actual locksmithing. Guy over the phone was super curt and rude. I was going to send him out to one of my tenants at a property I manage so I asked if the tech would be able to document the job with photos and then he told me I was wasting his time and he hung up on me. I see I’m not the first person to complain about their phone skills. Whoever this is needs to stop taking customer calls, he’s turning people away!

"We phoned them because we were locked out of our apartment, and they said someone would be there in 20 to 30 minutes. Instead, the guy arrived 50 minutes after we called, and while he was quick to get us into the flat within minutes, we did complain about how late he was, so we requested for a discount at the very least. The man immediately began shouting at us and became really unpleasant, calling us names and claiming that he despised ""these kinds of people."" He stated that he should evict us from our apartment, close the door, and leave! So we called the company before paying, and they told us that they don't give late payment discounts. So, as the man was taking the payment, he kept yelling at us and claiming that we didn't want to pay him. He even started threatening us as he walked away, ranting the entire time, but we couldn't understand half of what he was saying. To clarify who we're talking about, he was a tall, hefty man with a foreign accent."

So I just got off the phone with a man who works there and as I’m explaining my situation he say and I quote “I gotta go goodbye” and didn’t even let me finish what I had to say. Don't use it. Everything on the webpage is a fabrication. When you phone them, they simply state "half an hour" with no indication of how long it will take for someone to arrive. In addition, the locksmith concocts a pricing that differs from what is listed on the website. Even if you argue that they should charge the price listed on the webpage, they will still charge vat (even though no mention of vat on website). Avoid using a call center and instead contact a local individual directly!

Service was terrible and unprofessional. They charge 5 times more for a lock that you can get locally, and their lock broke soon after installation, so they sent someone to check it out, who couldn't fix it, so he spent less than 5 minutes and asked me to provide bank information to his company, claiming it was for a refund, but it turned out they charged me some fees that I don't understand. I inquired whether they could track the payment I made the last time (which is how a refund usually works), and they said no, and that I would have to provide them my bank account information. This guy lingered in my parking lot for another 30 minutes before leaving! It appears like they simply show there and pretend to spend enough time so that the price may be justified while they do nothing!!!

I recently purchased a used 2013 Ford Escape. The only key that came with the vehicle was what Ford calls a “MyKey” which is a key copy you can make and then place restrictions on like speed limits (I couldn’t drive over 80mph) and volume limits (couldn’t raise volume over 40%). Since I didn’t have the original key I couldn’t lift those restrictions on my only key! And through the dealership new keys are over $100 sometimes much more. But A to Z Locksmith helped me out for less than $70 and hooked me up with a much needed duplicate key and better yet REMOVED all the restrictions from the MyKey! I’m very pleased with the work they’ve done and the speed. I was there for less than 20 minutes! I really recommend this place!

Representative showed up at my residence and informed my daughter that he was there to change the locks. Said John called him. Daughter tells him no less than 5 times that there is no "John" at this address. Keeps saying this is the address John gave him. Wouldn't leave the front porch and scared my daughter enough to call me at work. Told her to shut and lock the door. Guy stayed on porch for over five minutes after she shut door. Didn't bother to use the cell phone in his hand to call"John". Turns out supposed to be across the street on recently sold residence. Very very unprofessional.

Very poor customer service and mediocre quality. I called in, asking if I could have them cut and program a key fob for my make and model of car if I ordered one in. I was told yes, that it wouldn't be a problem. After getting my key and bringing it in, the tune changed suddenly - Once I was in the store I was told that they've had a lot of problems with my make and model, and that it was very likely it wouldn't work. If they cut my key and it didn't work, I would still have to pay them and they would not replace the key. I understand that they can't do anything if a third party product is defective, and wouldn't have blamed them, had I not called in advance to confirm that I could bring in the exact third party product they were now telling me might not work. I ended up taking the chance and had them cut the key. It works, but has to be jiggled and turned at just the right spot to work; A problem I've never had with the key they were copying from.
