I needed a 2nd key for my van but was blown away by the $200.+ that my dealership wanted for a new key. I must of phoned 50 locksmiths in Washington, Oregon and Texas (the route of my road trip) to get prices on reprogramming my Nissan ignition lock and adding a 2nd key. Skagit locksmith quoted me less than 1/2 the price of the next lowest competitor. When I asked how Dan said "it is a 5 minute job". I was sceptical but took a chance. Turns out my Nissan had been rekeyed at some time so they manually had to figure out the new key code. To be honest many of the locksmiths out there would of charged more for this OR not had the expertise to do it at all. Skagit locksmith was able to figure out my key code, cut and reprogram the key all at the originally quoted low price and have me on my way in 15 minutes. What more can you ask for; great service and quality work at a VERY reasonable price. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. By the way, Dan's price for cutting a new key to code and programing....$50! Thanks Dan, I will be back.

Im going to be honest with you reader of reviews. If you are in doubt who is the best locksmith in town I can tell you: LocksmithSkagit. I’m going to tell you why: I have a Ford Focus 2012, and I bought a new key online last week. I was on my way home from Burlington to mount Vernon, and I was looking for someone to cut and program my new key and I decide to stop at the A1mobile key located in Burlington. The guy that gave me the terrible customer service called “Erik” couldn’t program my new key and his excuse was: this key is for ford-f150, because I have a focus, I’m going to try to program in your car but if doesn’t work I’m going to charge you anyways. We start a little argue back and forth, because I was SURE THAT WAS THE RIGHT KEY, and I said: alright I will pay you if it’s no way to program this key, because I knew this was the key for my car. So he couldn’t program the key, and he laughed of me and he said: “ I told you”. So I paid for the service that I didn’t receive. maybe he was right about the key. I took the key for LOCKSMITHSKAGIT and less than 2 minutes they fixed my problem. The owner of the company explained me why the key wasn’t working: was already full the computer of the car ( 4 keys). he just deleted the keys and put again the old&new key on the computer and boom, problem fixed. But at least the owner of the A1mobile called andrew in Burlington recognized the fault of his worker and refund part of my money. (He wanted to refund the full money but I didn’t accept because they cut the key at least) Anyways thank you so much LOCKSMITH SKAGIT TO HELP ME.

Thank you Dan! We got locked out of the house. I gave Skagit Locksmith a call. Dan was very helpful from the start. Over the phone, he offered up what it would cost for him to get us in again (a very fair price) and that he'd meet us in 20-25 minutes. 20 minutes later, Dan arrived. 30 minutes after I had called, we were back in the house. Fantastic end to a messy situation. In the future, I'll be calling Skagit Locksmith anytime I need locksmith services!

I ordered a key fob for my 2006 Toyota 4Runner and Dan shipped it to me within a day. I received the factory key fob in original packaging and Dan gave me full product support. All I can say is outstanding! I broke my key in half in my car when I went to lock my door and so happened to be the only one I had. Mine you it was also 7 at night when this happened. So as I struggled to look for a lock smith close to get a key made so I can drive home I happened to find that nine of the lock Smiths that said they where open, weren't. So as I searched frantically through Google I found these guys and they were a life saver! He came to the rescue even though he was on a walk with his family and a appointment 20 minutes later and still made time to help me! Can't say enough good things other than he's the man don't call anyone else.

I just got back from two years in Hawaii, and couldn't find my car keys. I called Locksmith Skagit because their reviews were better than the locksmiths I had used in the past. Charlie came out quickly to help me and was pleasant and professional. He told me that I might need a transponder key, but luckily, after he jumped my car at no charge, the key worked fine. That saved me $60. When he first got there, he came over, introduce himself, and shook my hand. I can't remember the last time a locksmith did that. That alone put this company above and beyond the others. It was very refreshing to find a locksmith that would actually try to save you money by doing something at no charge. I'm not sure that has ever happened to me. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you ever need a locksmith, call them. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Charlie, for doing such a fast, excellent job!

He did a good job explaining the options I had re: hardware, different ways we could set up the keys, etc, and I appreciated being given different options so I could make a decision that worked best for my family and budget. He promptly sent out Charlie, another very respectful and pleasant person to do business with. Charlie had my key cut and programmed and the job done in about 10 minutes. (If that) The only locksmith I will ever use in this area. My car was in Ferndale and they made the trip up from Skagit and came in $125- $175 LESS than any other locksmith in Whatcom County. Our only key fob to our Volvo was stolen. With no spare key and no way to drive the car, Volvo customer service told me my only option was to tow the car to a Volvo dealership to have keys reprogrammed. I called around to a few local locksmiths just to keep Volvo honest. One of them recommended Dan at Locksmith Skagit. Sure enough, Dan was able to get the job done saving me a $600+ tow bill and some other headaches. Never trust the dealership.

Thanks to Skagit locksmith we were able to get a key for our car that lost it's chip to it somehow. We had called 3 other companies that evening and left voicemails for help. When we finally tried Skagit locksmith the guy answered and even though his night was busy he was still the only one that responded and for that I'm greatful.
