He explained what he was doing and gave us tips and advice for maintenance and adjustments as needed. Ok probably this review is going to be a bit long but this guy is worth it! So imagine coming home from work tired and -23 outside and when you finally get home after an hour of commuting you find out that your house door doesn’t open!!! After trying for a few minutes a gave up and me and my husband without knowing anybody decided to go and google for a lock smith and trust the reviews... well finally we call shay serrurier and trust me we do not regret it, the guy came really fast, respectful and polite open the door in 2 minutes and worked all the time with a smile and actually changed our mood we forgot how tired we were and listen for his advice and funny jokes! I cannot recommend this place enough. Very professional and responsive. I had an issue with one of my tenant's front lock and he sent me pictures of the entire process explaining what was wrong. I also asked if he had the time could he look at the main front door of the building nearby, the door was not closing because of the cold and was a security risk. The previous locksmiths had just told me the door itself needed some adjusting and I would have to find a handyman myself since it wasn't "their problem". Shay sent me a video within 30 minutes with the front door closing perfectly and let me know how to fix it if it ever happened again. The door did not even need adjusting!!

Hi, Basically, you took care of our lock very quickly. You were courteous. We like your work. On the downside, you sold us a LSDA commercial lock saying it would last longer, it was better ect. We took it. Everything was good. Then over time, the lock became loose and more loose with regular use. It was something we pointed out and that’s a reason you told us a LSDA lock would be better, we went along. The lock became loose to the point I was worried it would fall apart. I took the lock apart myself, tightened it and now it’s better. However, I couldn’t help but notice how the inside was archaic compared to the outer shell, that nice LSDA robust shell. It’s as if we bought a 100$ shell while the mechanism inside seems off for “commercial use”. The issue was not so much it was getting loose but more the disappointment. C'est le serrurier qui m'avait été recommandé par la CAA. Il est arrivé rapidement et il travaille efficacement, en plus d'être très sympathique. Il m'a expliqué clairement les problèmes avec ma serrure au fur et à mesure qu'il la réparait. Il m'a même montrer des trucs pour prévenir de futurs problèmes. La prochaine fois que j'ai des problèmes de serrure, c'est Shay que je vais appeler sans hésitation.
