Great service! They came right through for us after hours spent dealing with both the dealer and a separate locksmith who didn’t have the software needed for our newer car, a 2011. Drove all the way to the dealer, who didn’t close until 8, although unfortunately, their parts guy left earlier, and we had had no idea. An hour later we finally called Sure Lock and Key, and they were able to make an appointment late at night, and our guy, Daniel, came ready to fix up all our troubles. Which wasn’t simply a new key, but also an alarm system that wouldn’t stop going off. He programmed up and restarted the system, and before we knew it, we had a new car key and the blasted alarm finally quieted down. Thanks again Daniel! Sure Lock and Key is our new go to place! :)

I called Sure Lock & Key to fix the latch mechanism on my 100-year-old front door. They sent someone within hours. The locksmith's name was Bill, and he was fantastic. He had an appreciation for the old hardware on the door, and over the course of two visits, he patiently took the tricky mechanism apart and adjusted it. He also lubricated/rebalanced parts of the door so that it opens and closes more smoothly. He cleaned up the what little mess there was, and left my entry hall immaculate. I was extremely pleased with his work, and relieved not to have to replace the beautiful, original hardware on my door. I highly recommend Bill!

Where to start.... this business is horrible. I had them install two knew slabs for patio french doors that I needed to replace. The installer. Tim, made several visits to my house. He ordered incorrect hardware. He was nearly impossible to contact and didn't respond to my calls of texts. He would say he would show up, then be a no show. He has since left Sure Lock and no longer works there. I've contacted Sure Lock multiple times by phone and email because the door is now malfunctioning and won't open. Also, Tim never provided me with the grill for one of the doors that he had to reorder because it was damaged in shipping. They gave me the name of a new technician, Lawrence. He never came out to see the door, then he ghosted me and stopped answering texts and phone calls. I have since emailed and called customer service 20+ times and they take for ever to respond. I've asked for a manager to call me, but that hasn't happened. I payed over $6k for these doors and the job is incomplete and the doors don't work. And what is Sure Lock doing about it? Nothing. They are telling me that I need to contact the installer that no longer works for them! He won't even answer his phone or texts! Sure Lock doesn't care about their customers. If an employee leaves the company, the employer takes on the responsibility to guarantee that former employees work. They are not offering to send a new tech out to fix the issue. They are telling me they don't have anyone who is capable of fixing the problem! Absolutely ridiculous. UPDATE: In response to the owner saying I have the wrong company I assure you I have the right business sir! I've been contacting you repeatedly. Your customer service team recognizes my order and are aware of Tim and Lawrence being your technicians. I have an estimate with your company name on it. I have emails from your customer service and the signature says Sure Lock, not A1 Doors. I can provide it to you if you'd like. You have $6k of my money, which I can show you the cashed check for. Stop trying to make up for bad business. You have a responsibility as a business owner to provide ethical service...you have failed to do that. Another UPDATE: Attached is the estimate with your companies letterhead. You are the confused one sir! Just like everyone else at your company.

They helped us out in a real tight spot! After about four hours of stressing after losing our key, Sure Lock and Key came to our rescue. We started the afternoon with calling the Honda dealer themselves, though they needed the registration papers to give us a one time use key. These were of course in the currently locked car. The original locksmith we’d called said he didn’t have the software needed to program the key for our car, a 2011 Honda Civic. Which, after the alarm sounded, -in an attempt to retrieve the papers- we desperately needed. Thank goodness for Daniel, who came late in the night, and helped us out!???????????? Finally, after a good couple hours of stressing, we were able to get in our car and turn off the alarm. Would definitely recommend these guys if you have any car troubles!! He was fast and knew what he was doing from the get go!

300$ key failed after 4 months. Called and explained situation to unprofessional woman who answered got no help. Asked to speak to a manager however woman refused. I was informed I needed to email company which I did still... no response! After calling multiple times I was told there keys only have a 14 day Warranty. Compare that to many other reputable company’s who offer 6 month warranty’s. Be careful if you think you’re getting a good deal. You get what you pay for I guess. Lesson learned!!! People please save yourself the aggravation and go to with a company that stands behind their products and service longer than 14 days????????‍♀️????????‍♀️????????‍♀️

I was initially disappointed at the results of my initial efforts of buying locally with Sure Lock & Key Locksmith services, however I appreciated the effort at replacing my Nissan Altima's broken key fob. With this respect, Sure Lock & Key Locksmith were able to provide me a functioning replacement key fob which allowed me to work with the vehicle. For an onsite locksmith repair, they provided functional service and were highly focused on delivering a quality product. I would consider calling them for support in the future.

I called Sure Lock at 8am, tech called me back 5 minutes after I explained to him what was going on with my 2013 Ford Edge, sent him a picture of my key from my fob, he quoted me a price and gave me a close to estimate time, which was less than 2 hours He called when he was 10 minutes away when he arrived he was very professional, knowledgeable and he had my new fob and key cut within 15 minutes. They charged me $133 for coming to my home, disassembling a lock and telling me that the part wasn't available because Andersen changes models every 5 years. I ended up without a solution and out of $133. Funny part is the locksmith explanation got me thinking so I went to the Andersen website and to my surprise I found the part the locksmith told me was going to be impossible to find. I ordered it for $80 with free 2 day shipping and installed it myself. I sent an email to this company explaining the situation and how dissatisfied I am with their service and had no answer so I'm sharing my experience for everyone else to be aware.

Not to knock on the smaller one person outfits, but I've tried both and Sure Lock & Key really knocked it out of the park. I was locked out of my apartment twice, they got here faster, they were cheaper, they were able to just pick the lock instead of disassembling it (which is much faster), they take credit card, and they even made me a copy of my key for free from their van. Didn't know it could be this easy and fast. Hopefully won't need to use them again, but if I do, I'll definitely be calling them again.

David and Jacob promptly arrived at 11 am and quickly fixed multiple issues in our house. They changed the locks of the front and side doors and re-aligned those doors as well as in inside door. One window that did not close fully and lock was fixed successfully. Both of these individuals were very knowledgeable about all of the repairs, were very courteous and professional. In the future, if I have need for a locksmith, I would definitely higher these individuals again. Great work and thanks!!

Made several appointments for repair a door lock to a school. This would had made them repair rest of our door locals and security lock to our school but that is their loss. I live in Baltimore and visiting family in East Haven for a long Christmas holiday and time off from work. I locked myself out of my truck and had pop-put/locksmith show up at within 20 minutes of calling. Guy was terrific, had me in my truck in a couple minutes and after a few minutes of searching for my keys I realized I had lost my keys. He made me a replacement key and programmed in about 45 ,minutes. Price was very fair, especially considering the time & cost of having to rent a car, drive to Baltimore to get my spare key and return. Highly recommend Sure Lock.

We just had Tyler Boucher to our house yesterday 11/20 after we had locked ourselves out of our new home. They were super quick which we appreciated but I paid $250 for service which he broke down for us: cost $175 plus a $45 fee just for coming out plus tax.... no invoice or receipt for services. if my math is right 175 + 45= $220 * 1.06 for tax = $233. So what was the extra $17 for? I’m not sure. I didn’t notice this at the time because we had 3 children with us and were eager to get in the house. I appreciated their prompt service but I’m a little concerned about the price I paid.
