Speedy locksmith came to me, and rebuilt the ignition lock cylinder on my 2008 honda odyssey. Very fair prices, came one hour after I made first contact. The part I would have needed to fix this would have taken weeks to get here, but speedy locksmith helped me get on the road again in a few hours. Highly recommend

I emailed with Speedy Locksmith to get a quote for the installation of a new lock. I was quoted 145 dollars which included the service call. Appointment was missed by the locksmith after I took time out of my work day to be available. He did call after he was 20+ minutes late. When we did connect via phone, he let me know I would be charged an extra 40 dollars for the service call. They mentioned via email they were not late, even thought they never showed. They also mentioned my address is too far to service. If thats the case they should have mapped it when the appointment was made. This is not the customers responsibility. I'll be going elsewhere. Just a word of caution your quote may not be accurate. Just because you set an appointment and agreed on a price does not mean they will honour it. He was not rude or anything, just unacceptable business practice. UPDATE: As you can see from the email uploaded I notified the business where I was located ahead of them missing the appointment. I also suspect they left a negative review the place of my employment. Pretty sad when you think about it.

Had a problem with my car immobilizer that prevented the car from starting. Called Speedy Locksmith and they responded super fast and professional and fixed my issue in my driveway the same day. Awesome guys. Would recommend to anyone. Will keep them in my contacts for any future issues with locks etc. Thanks guys!

Front door latch broke and only way back in was through the garage/house door BUT the key wouldn't work. Called Speedy and they came out exactly when they said. Unlocked the garage access door in under a minute. Super friendly and they did they did everything they said they would. Efficient. Price was very good too.

Not impressed. I hired them to drill a larger hole through my door to accommodate the lock I had purchased that required the larger opening. Upon the first visit the gentleman showed up without the appropriate tool to secure the drill bit to drill through the door. He then left to retrieve the part needed, which turned out to be in the hands of a coworker so he had to reschedule for the next day between 11-1. At 1 I called to see where he was and he said no it was to be between 12-2. He then called to say he was running late and arrived at 2:20. When he started the job with the now appropriate tools in hand he stopped and said he could not do it as the bit would not be secure and he was worried he would damage the door. This was the only reason I hired them, I could have done the rest of the work myself. He then sold me a door lock which was the size for the hole but not what I originally wanted and proceeded with the install. I mistakenly went ahead and I’m not happy with the end result or my experience with this company. Why did he need to go get the appropriate tools for the door I had and then was unable to do the work on that same door!

Fast service. Left my keys in my car after lunch. Called Speedy Locksmith Ottawa and they were at my car in 30 minutes, unlocked in another 3. Less than 35 minutes total. Tech was courteous and friendly. Hopefully I don't have too, but I would use again.
