The worst company ever!!! They sent out a technician who had no experience with my locks and she kept saying I've never seen these before. I asked her to call for a more experienced technician but she kept saying she could handle it. Welp she did a terrible job. Most of my deadbolts are stuck and hard to open now. Never had any issues opening or being stuck before the rekey service. The kitchen door deadbolt doesn't even lock. She removed the latch to make it lock now I have no latch there. When I asked her to get a supervisor to find a solution she went outside with the keys with my doors locked essentially locking me in my own house without a key! I was on the verge of calling police. The customer service person didn't help either, they kept blaming it on my doors in a newly remodeled house where I had no issues with my deadbolts locking before. Complete scary nightmare. I have to call another company to redo all the locks again. ... wasted money

My feelings on this company are mixed. I didn’t choose to work with them. My home warranty company chose them. Scheduling was a bit of a nightmare. I first received a text inviting me to select a few time slots I could work with. Later I received a text confirming one of those times (Friday AM). Then I received an email from my warranty company saying the appointment would be at a different date and time (Monday AM). I responded to the email and text message from Mr Rekey asking what time my appointment actually was. No response to either. Then on Thursday morning, I received a call from Mr. Rekey apologizing that Friday AM would not longer work, and asking if they could come out that same day. I was in the middle of my workday, so I said no, and asked if we could schedule for another day. We settled on Tuesday. Then on Friday at 8am, I get a text telling me the locksmith is on the way. I respond to the text with my confusion. No response. I call the number in the text, and the message says they aren’t open, but I can leave a vm or be connected with the emergency dispatcher. I select the option for the emergency dispatcher, and promptly get a message telling me it’s out of service. So I call back to leave a vm, and the vm box is full. At that point I decided to call into work and hope someone would actually come. About 45 minutes later I get a text from the locksmith, Casey, who would be doing the work, providing an ETA. Thoroughly frustrated by this point, I kind of unloaded on him. He was very apologetic and offered to reschedule, but since I’d already called in, I told him it was ok to still do the work. Casey was exceptionally professional and did a great job. If not for the scheduling kerfuffle, this review would be 5 stars. I get that this was just bad coordination, or maybe too many people trying to fix the same problem, but I as they customer was left very confused and not able to reach anyone to help me.

December 2020, I had to have the home I'm selling rekeyed, to keep out a contractor that has screamed at me and won't finish jobs at my home...Edward with Mr. Rekey found that the previous contractor had stripped out a screw in my front door knob and replaced a door knob screw with a sheet rock screw in my garage/kitchen door!!! He had to do some creative work to fix the front door screw and that took extra time! He also managed to find a screw that was the proper type for my door knob in the kitchen/garage!! He didn't charge me extra, and even gave me a discount just because I had such a bad experience with that "other contractor"!! Unbelievably great service, and he was again, fast and extremely professional!! I love these guys!!☺️☺️????????

The contractor was helpful and offered multiple solutions to problems and then let me choose what I would like to do (for instance, he asked if I would like to rekey a lock and have a separate key for it - 2 keys total - or have it be the same key that would unlock all the locks in the house - 1 key total). If I could do zero stars, I would. I had someone else at the home while the rekeying was taking place, so I did not find out about the problem until later. Since the rekeying was done, it literally takes me 3 minutes or more to get through the door. I can't even get through the garage door. I tried for about 5 minutes before I quit.
