Completely unsatisfied with the services I didn't receive. I purchased a replacement key online and met Vern in the drug Mart parking lot, upon arrival I paid him$100.00 in cash and he attempted programming my key, after some time he then told me my key wasn't the correct part number and would not return my money. The dealership charges $149.00 for the same service to be completed, and they don't take your money if they can't complete the job. The locksmith should know if a part works for a car before they start, at least a professional qualified locksmith would. I then said you will program the correct key for the money you already took, he replied for another $40.00. So in short I could have gone to the dealership had it done for the same price and completed correctly, I went to him in a parking lot of another business and he took my money without completing the job. I will also add this was never disclosed to me prior to his attempting. Poor service, and I highly recommend going elsewhere.

On June 28th, we set an appointment (within a 2-hour window) for Thursday, July 1st. Unfortunately, Vern's main work van suffered a transmission failure the next day. He notified us immediately that he'd have to postpone until the transmission was fixed. No problem. As soon as the van was up and running he texted to reschedule, showed up within a 2-hour window, made a key for two different vehicles, and they both worked perfectly. ...much better than a visit to the local dealership, wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

My husband locked the keys in my truck overnight and I had been calling around to locksmiths since 7am. There was not one technician to be found in my area.
