I needed to have a deadbolt re-keyed. Rusty's did this very quickly, and replaced not only the main pins, but also the other row of pins and the springs. The basic kits you can buy change only the one row of pins. Also needed several keys cut, and they were done quickly and at a very good price. This shop has been around for a long time - I was dealing with the grandson of the founder - and is a London institution!

Dealt with a young man who was very knowledgeable in his craft, made 3 copies of keys for an insert we did not have a key for in 5 mins. Discussed options for re-keying or getting a new insert for other purposes/doors, we were not rushed, the locksmith was super efficient and yet thorough. A real class act, wish every store was like this one, will be back here as necessary. They also have a great selection of new locks and once again very willing to discuss options.

Used Rustys for both home and work. Never had an issue. They've been around a long time and very knowledgeable and always willing to take a bit of extra time to explain if necessary. If ur getting keys cut they will always be cut precisely... u like Walmart where I've had to return because the key doesn't fit my lock. Prices are fair, staff is friendly and helpful.

I had an issue with a broken key that was used to open a desk. I phoned several locksmiths and was referred to Rusty's Lock & Key as this was a very old lock with a key that few companies could replace. I spoke to Mitch who suggested I bring in the lock and key to save me the cost of a home visit. I did this and they were able to figure out how to replace the key without changing the lock. They made me new keys in record time at a fraction of the cost. I definitely recommend them for all your locksmith jobs!

Went in with a key broken in two pieces - took the time to do it, in the moment. Told me to come back and pay if it works. It didn’t, so we went back and he cut two other ones - one that he “eyeballed” .. which is the one that worked! You know you can trust someone that can cut a key without using a machine to trace it!! Highly recommend! Ps .. still haven’t paid - back tomorrow :)
