Told me they were going to call me about a quote and never got back with me. I called every day for a week and was told the same thing that someone would call me but nothing. Then at the end when I said I needed an answer so I can proceed with installation or I would go with someone else and the guy told me then go ahead and go with someone else in a nasty tone. Highly skilled and talented locksmiths with the equipment to create new keys from scratch. I brought a 16 year old worn out car key and the older chap behind the counter decoded the key and cut a brand new key just like the one that came from Buick in 2002. They also cloned a key/fob for a new Ford Explorer at a fraction of the cost the dealer wanted. I drive half an hour to get to their shop and it's worth the trip!

St Paul United Church of Christ uses Preferred Safe Lock for their locksmith needs. Jim and Steve are excellent to work with. Jim came out and changed all our locks at a very reasonable price. Personally, I've used them to rekey home locks. All I had to do was remove the cylinders and take them into their shop. Steve did a great job on the locks while we waited. I highly recommend them. Preferred safe and lock saved me!! We had our locks replaced by another company and the work was never right for what they charged. Preferred safe and lock assessed the workmanship and quality and agreed that it wasn’t done properly. They came out and installed the correct door lock and repaired what the other company messed up. The installer was on time, professional and clearly a master locksmith. I would recommend preferred safe and lock at anyone as a locksmith. The man who was behind the counter was vary helpful with selling me a safe. He was also able to fit a key to my boat lock. As i talked with the guy. He said there has been a locksmith at this location for over 100 years. I give this store 5 thumbs up..
