My 2005 Volkswagen Golf TDI came with only a single key when I bought it over a year ago. The lock barrel was giving me issues especially in the cold weather so I decided to get a switchblade key/fob combo in hopes of getting around the manual lock and have a spare key at the same time. The stealership wanted over 300 bucks to do the job. I came here instead and Shawn is VERY knowledgeable about the subject. He told me right up front that the key would not be an issue but programming the fob for my particular car isn't always possible. However in the end he was SUCCESSFUL and I got the switchblade with working key and fob for 200 bucks tax in! Great guy, knows his stuff and would definitely recommend in the future. I was out of there in 20 minutes.

Save yourself the time and money! MyCarKeys saved me $450 where the dealer would have charged me. Cut and programmed in only 5-10 mins! I highly recommend this place for whoever that is looking to get a spare key for their car! Reasonable prices compare to what dealer charges. I paid only $100 for the key and programming for my car. There's a parking lot where you can park your car right front of the shop.

I called about having a fob/key combo for a 2012 Kia Soul replaced. I was very brusquely told by whomever answered the phone that "I'll have to call you back", and then I was hung up on. That was 24 hours ago. And after reading the rude, dismissive comments the business owner has posted to criticisms, and less-than-sycophantic reviews, even if he does call me back, I won't be taking his call, or availing myself of this business. There are YouTube videos aplenty that teach a person how to do all this stuff themselves, for a fraction of the cost MyCarKeys charges. I would recommend that anyone in need of such services do that instead. Cue the incoherent ranting from the business owner

If you need a new car fob this is the place to go. All the dealerships were charging crazy amounts to get a new key fob. At MyCaryKeys it was fast, the price was very reasonable, and it works great. After I got mine done I sent my dad here a few months later to get his key fob done too and he was extremely happy as well. Keep up the good business.

The keys for my 2003 Honda Accord stopped fitting in my ignition. Honda dealership wanted almost $200 per key to replace and program! I was sent to this guy when no other place in town would do a laser cut programmed key for the car. He had a key made for my car and I was driving off within 10 min. He advised me to not get a second key made because I may have a problem with my ignition. Honest and very good price compared to the dealership. It saved me money and stress to not have to worry about my keys not working properly.

I went to ford because i car alarm kept going off and they said i needed to pay 450 $ to get a second key. Instead i found this awesome establishment for a second key that has all the bells and whistles it was only 189 $ the gentlemen who helped me was so professional and extremely quick as i was on a time crunch i recommend this place to everyone ! he also does engraving on various items such as cups key chains etc ! super cool guy go get your keys from them very trustworthy :)

Shawn has repaired phones for me in the past, always reasonable prices and excellent work. Most recently he helped my 83 year old mother with a remote key for her car. He was awesome with her to the point that he went outside to show her where to park. Very patient, great service, great price and the new key is perfect. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Took in a Nissan car fob and he had it programmed and working perfectly in about 10 minutes. He couldn't cut the spare key for me though. Also cheaper then a few other places I called and also did not require a pretty pay like the others.

Called on the phone, the guy said he could fix my 2 Key fobs. Showed up and I was on my way with 2 fixed key fobs for less then 1 new one at the dealership. The dealership should fix for free but they gouge instead. I highly recommend coming here after you hear what the dealership wants to fix or replace your key fobs.

Came here after two major business said they couldn't cut my key. Fast friendly service. He didn't get mad at me when I somehow messed up using the first key he cut for me. He just cut me another one, gave me both and charged me for one. 100% will use again and will recommend to anyone looking to get auto keys cut.

THE. REAL. DEAL. Do not waste your time with anyone else, Shawn is a key genius, they don't call him the magic man for nothing. I had 2 keys cut and programmed from scratch in less than 2 hours and he would not give up until I was satisfied with the result of each key. He will be with you every step of the way. He will also explain to you what is happening and what he is attempting to do during each process of his service. On top of this, when you are his client, you are his ONLY client and he will not work on other projects while you are with him. Every locksmith I know referred me to this guy and for good reason. I am very impressed with his business. He is a true professional.

This place has everything, and the guy was able to diagnose and get the new key printed within 10 minutes of me walking in. Not only that, but I also purchased a second key / FOB which he then programmed for me. Totally effortless experience, and my bank account didn't even break a sweat. Would recommend 100%, this is the place you're looking for.

Very rude and condescending owner. Told me I'd have to buy a new $100 chip as well as a programming fee from him for my already purchased key FOB because the chip it had in it would not work. I told him to try programming it. He then told me to get lost and that noone in the city would do it. Got it programmed and cut for $50 somewhere else, no problems at all. ????

I need to update my review sadly (was a four star initially). I had a new key cut for our car and it worked in our ignition but did not work in the doors though. I was told it should wear in, and the price was good so I wasn't too worried about giving it some time to wear in. I went back a couple months later with the intention of purchasing a newer style FOB and to have him fix this one as it still does not work in our doors, even though it's used everyday to start the car. I was told it was cut exactly the same as the key I provided it be cut from, and was turned away after he confirmed it was cut the same/correctly. Upon closer inspection you can see there is a clear difference between the original and the duplicate in one spot. Left disappointed.

Called up for a replacement FOB for a 2010 Sierra, quoted 80$. You can get Cheaper off of GMC on line, or get 2 shipped to the house for 44$ US.. Pretty pricey,, He said he would also program it.. well you can program them in a couple of minutes yourself.. He is a good deal if you don't know any better

My keys were stolen Xmas and the Kia dealership quoted me $1000 for 1 new key fob and programming for a 2012 Kia Optima SX. My mom thankfully found this business and literally saved me over $750! I was about to call my car insurance company and take my car off of the road for a month, Until I could afford to replace my key fob to drive my car. I would have had to take cabs and rely on rides to get to work, wasting even more money. I’m so grateful. Other locksmiths referred me to my dealership but this gentleman made the key really quick. Super intelligent. I’m definitely referring friends and coworkers. I have to contact him for a duplicate fob to be made soon. Thank You!

My 2 year old microwaved my car keys. I called the GM dealership and they told me it would cost me about $500 for 2 new keys and for me to tow my car to them, and they wouldn't be able to do it until next week. He was able to make me two new keys the same day and for a more than reasonable price!
