Accurate Lock and Key were amazing. I called the day before, set up an appointment and Steve was there right on time. He explained that he would be unable to rekey our locks because of the age of the locks, asked if we wanted new hardware, quoted us, and verified we still wanted it done -- which I appreciated. He was very honest and not pushy. We went ahead and had all new hardware put on our home. Steve made sure each door shut securely before moving onto the next door. All in all, 5 doors and less than an hour later everything was complete. Would recommend to others and would use again.

He drives the van like like a weapon. He tailgated me down 26 mile East. Then passed me on that same 2 way road at Schoenherr veering into the left turn lane to try & avoid a red light - going around me as I was turning right. I wouldn’t do business with a wreck-less maniac like that. I’m shocked he would drive so maniacal in a such a large van with an easily seen & recognizable business name - very large print in the side of the van. Maybe he was drunk??

Came to our business within the hour to replace an old internal latch and replace the inside thumb turn on our business. Turns out they had put in the latch about 10 years prior when we had a break in. Over the weekend, our door suddenly became unlocked. There was heavy rust on the latch and the springs for the lock. Steve replaced all the hardware within an hour and there were no issues. If he's still running the business in another 10 years, we'll definitely call him again if we need to

I must of accidentally hit one star as I was closing out my phone after calling to ask a question. The owner called my phone a little while later kind of rude asking if I left a review and I said no not knowing that I did accidentally. A little more time passed and I was called again by the same person, this time he was at my place of business wanting a to "talk" to me face to face. I was literally harassed about it again and even after I said I may of done it on accident he continued to be even more rude and threatened me to taker it down or this won't be the last I see of him. Let this go on record if my business or my house is messed with in any way I will take action with the police. I'm leaving my review up not because of his services but because of his customer service and the fact he showed up to my place of business which scares me and I think would scare anyone in my position.

Steve changed all the locks in our home honestly I really didn't want to call a locksmith because I thought it was gonna take forever. 7 doors all with double locks seemed like a mountain of a job. He came on time, a very clean professional person, and on top of everything he made us feel comfortable while he was working in our home. He completed the job in 40mins I almost didn't believe him when he said he was done. Before he left I mentioned that we wanted a decorative door handel to match the one next to it on our front double doors he said go get it I will put it on I was like are you sure he said yeah go get it while i make your keys so I did. He installed it so well that the original door handel looked like crap next to it, so he said I have another call but if you guys would like I'll come back tomorrow and replace the original handel also we said yes. He came back the next day changed that one for us and get this he went to his van got a portable vaccume and cleaned the wood dust he made class act guy... Great business owner...

The lock needed to be replaced. I was charged an exuberant amount of money. The service charge was quoted at $65. The total came to $740. I expected to be charged to replace the lock but I wad not told it would cost $500. I already bad a lock and would never have agreed to that price. I was told they would not take it off & back. He would not leave without payment I ultimately had to borrow $740. I will never use or recommend accurate.

My son accidentally locked us out of my car. I tried other companies, but they wanted at least $100 to come out and the wait for each company was at least one hour. My 8 year old son and I were stranded outside and it was cold, waiting that long was not an option. Finally we found Accurate Lock and Key - they were nice on the phone, were at our car within 15 minutes, and they charged $25 less than everyone else. Crappy situation to have to spend money on....but if it ever happens again...i am definitely calling this guy. And I will be referring others to him as well. ????
