While they may be able to do the job well, whoever's working the phones couldn't be any more rude. It was shocking to me that this person was so rude talking to a paying customer. The locksmith was also there for maybe 15 minutes of work and was billed for 2 hours because that's what the estimate was for. Shouldn't you get bilked for the actual time? Or maybe an hour, if there's a minimum? Very disappointing.

Don't fool around with keys made anywhere else. No key I've ever had made at a big box or hardware store in Burlington has ever worked as smoothly as a Dion key. Superior quality and security blanks, maintained cutting machine, and precise craftsmanship. Once I got advise over the phone on getting a stubborn door lock to turn...and the technique worked perfectly! There's always fast service and a large selection of security devices and accessories.

Did i mention I got the "expensive" key and they were only $5 a piece. No more going to Ace, Lowe's, or Home Depot to get keys for this guy.

I asked him don't you need my number for that? He says that might work. Not a fan. At all. Won't be using them any more.

I needed a locksmith well after hours to cut a key for at truck I needed after losing the originals. Eric was at the ready to help. He waited for a couple of hours while I tried to get the truck owner to get me the key code. Eric was patient and even though we eventually found the keys, he would have gladly made us new ones. It was a comfort knowing I would have had the help if needed and all well into the night. Although I didn't need the service, I can't say enough about the service willingness Dion's was willing to provide. With that kind of customer service if give them a 5 star rating.

Week1: Called to be told they had keys and got quote - arrived NO KEYS, had to order (okay it happens, prepaid for keys). Week2: Keys in, arrived for programming/cutting. 3 hour wait (we were told "thought someone else was working on the keys".) They charged me almost $100.00 more than quote and told me the 3 hour wait was an exaggeration (seriously! like we don't know how long we waited). VERY VERY VERY disappointed. Could have gone to Automaster! It would have been cheaper and a better experience. ...funny part, the person I spoke with just before the manager said, "Oh, I remember you, you were here like 12 hours!" (Now, that was an exaggeration.) A little off the bill along with a "I'm sorry that happened." would have made a HUGE difference. NOT, "that's an exaggeration (for the 2nd time). Very sad that a local, long time business will never get my business again.

Dion's is great. For both routine and Emergency lock services. I've gone here for years for typical things, such as key copying, but this past weekend they came to our rescue in our time of need. My girlfriend and I were on vacation. Our cat sitter and friend got in a car accident (he's okay, thankfully!) and lost our apartment keys in the shuffle. It was a saturday, we were 50 miles from the nearest city, and unable to overnight a set of keys to our friend. We called Dion's. After some professional verification to know that we were who we said we were, they were able to drill out our deadbolt and replace it with a new one, same day, so that someone could come in and feed our cats. It was a matter of hours, with professional service from Dion's stellar crew, and they got the job done. Considering it was later on a Saturday, we were expecting to pay an arm and a leg, but they charged a fair and reasonable price for the service and saved the day. If you have key or lock needs, these are the guys you want to call.

We called at about midnight, and he showed up within 20 minutes and he was very professional did not look like it was midnight he looked like it was mid-morning he was very well clean polite nice and you never would have known that we had gotten him out of bed. he also had a smile on his face the whole time was very polite, it was my elderly neighbor and she had locked herself out. Anyway she didn't have extra money being on SS and I had made a deal with him on the phone to give her a cheaper rate and we made a deal and we hide it from her and he told her that he would just do it because she was a close neighbor cuz he lives close to us. Moved into a new house and needed to change the locks. Their staff was very friendly and knowledgable. I called them to get pricing for locks, and they charged a little bit higher than their competitors. I ended up buying my Schlage locks from Lowes and had them do the installation. I talked with them over the phone while I was buying the locks to make sure I was getting the right ones. They gave me their honest opinion on colors and finishes. Installation was a breeze and highly recommend if you ever need your locks replaced! Very reasonably priced!

Dions CAN clone your electronic ignition key! I bought a Vespa without its master key. Everyone said no one does that around here. Someone told me to check Dions before sending the only key I had through the mail. Eric ordered the part he needed and got me peace of mind, and a new key for well under the quoted price! Whether you need a key, (guaranteed, by the way), a cloned key, or a safe to either hold your guns and money, or a bag of balloons, they have it! And if they don’t, they’ll get it for you! They will also come to you. Use Dions, they’re good!

I had never used a locksmith before, so I called to see how much it might be to get a lock made for something I had. I was told there is a cost for the first key of about 5 or 6 dollars plus 2 or 3 more for duplicates, so about $10 total if I got 2 keys made. To me this was worth it for the item I had. A month later I got a call that it was done and would be $15. I was not aware that there was a labor fee on top of the fees for the keys because I was never told that. Then, when it was picked up (after waiting 30 mins), the total was $21, which would not have been worth it for me in the first place but someone else picked it up for me and was not aware of what I had been previously quoted, so he just paid it. I called back and tried to explain the situation and was told I could "come back in to get a couple bucks back". I'm not able to take the time to do that, especially if I am not going to be refunded to the amount I was originally told it would be, which I paid double of. Yes, a key was made and I appreciate that, but beware of fees that aren't made clear up front.
