After a Christmas eve rush to get to my in laws I managed, much to my wifes joy and excitement, to lock my keys in my 350z. Words couldn't describe how proud and excited my wife was at me but drew came to my rescue and was so gentle and careful with my Z. Drew's communication was professional and gave us a nice heads up when he was close by. When I manage to lock both sets of my keys in the car again I will only ask for drew.

Wow! What a gem! Stop what your doing. Now! Go to them! Some of the nicest people I’ve met. Truly love and care about what they do! I broke my smart Key Fob to my 2013 infinity. I called the Nissan dealership( who makes infinity) and they said they couldn’t replace it , only Infinity. I called the Infinity dealer up and they Quoted $400 yeek! :( Called A-1 up and they quoted $195 which includes the key Fob, mechanics key cut, and programmed. Please don’t go to the Dealer when replacing keys, they are always 2x the price. Although they didn’t have my key in stock , they overnighted it and I had it the next day! Im going to be honest with you reader of reviews. I’m going to tell you why I’m giving 2 stars:I have a Ford Focus 2012, and I bought a new key online last week. I was on my way home from Burlington to mount Vernon, and I was looking for someone to cut and program my new key and I decide to stop at the A1mobile key located in Burlington. The guy that gave me the terrible customer service called “Erik” couldn’t program my new key and his excuse was: “this key is for ford-f150, because I have a focus, I’m going to try to program in your car but if doesn’t work I’m going to charge you anyways.” We start a little argue back and forth, because I was SURE THAT WAS THE RIGHT KEY, and I said: alright, I will pay you if it’s no way to program this key, because I knew this was the right key for my car. So he couldn’t program the key, and he laughed of me and said: “I told you”. So I paid for the service that I didn’t receive. maybe he was right about the key. I took the key for LOCKSMITHSKAGIT and less than 2 minutes they fixed my problem. The owner of the company explained me why the key wasn’t working: was already full the computer of the car ( 4 keys). he just deleted the keys and put again the old&new key on the computer and boom, problem fixed. But at least the owner of the A1mobile called Andrew in Burlington recognized the fault of his worker Erik and refund part of my money. (He wanted to refund the full money but I didn’t accept because they cut the key at least). So I could come back for your business Andrew and indicated more customers, but first needs to improve the customer service, that I don’t blame you, because was a fault of one of your workers.

Both the girl I talked to on the phone and the tech that came out to get me new keys for my car were awesome. I've had duplicates made with A1 several times but I actually had to have totally new transponder keys made for my car because I'm a bonehead and lost them both. The tech was quick and super personable and the price was totally reasonable - for transponder keys. We will totally continue doing business with these guys.

We recently moved into our new house in Anacortes. Brent from A-1 provided us service of re-keying two doors and replacing locks on two more. We can now use one key for all our doors. Brent was prompt, courteous, careful, and thorough. He even adjusted one of our doors that had been difficult to lock and unlock so that it is now a breeze to use. I highly recommend A-1. Outstanding service throughout!

Hands down, the BEST! We were visiting Friday Harbor and lost our car keys in the ocean. Due to the pandemic, there weren't many people working and would come to the islands, plus it was tricky to catch the ferry and bail us out before our ferry left. The ladies at the office Jess & Christina, made so many calls and got us key fobs within a few hours of calling, Mitch the locksmith was very prompt, chill guy and he had FOB working in no time at all. Very grateful for these hard working, honest and professional people.

I had an appointment schedule for 3 days. They knew I was coming. I get there early. I give them keys within minutes of them opening. I walked around the shopping center across the street. A full hour goes by and my vehicle hasn’t even been touched. I have to go inside and question them as to why is my vehicle still sitting there if I had an appointment an hour ago. Once they starting working on vehicle they stopped multiple times due to being short staffed. Now I see why nothing gets done. They don’t have a full time locksmith. Both employees are outside or having to stop and help somebody getting a key made. Learn from these reviews.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Sold my wife a chipless key for a 2005 CR-V. What is that supposed to do, open the door? The cost for that worthless key was $50. When she returned the key, they wouldn't cut a new chipped blank to fix the error they made in selling the wrong blank to her initially. We'll take our business elsewhere.

So I've never had to call a locksmith before. Im. Going to be honest, im shocked how many kooks are in the lock and key business. I made many calls to many companies, and about half called back. After getting stood up by shirleys lock and key I called A-1 and was so glade I did. The gal my hubby talked to was so professional and nice.she asked questions ,and made sure we knew what to expect. Christina and all the locksmiths have always been very helpful. They're very knowledgeable in all types of security issues. They have rekeyed my car doors when the split wafers got loose and would not unlock with the key. They have reprogrammed keys and auto security systems for me. They have set up a master key tenant key scheme for my rentals. They helped me rekey our church when our key management got out of control and we had no idea how many keys were out there. They helped me unlock and rekey a rental I was managing. They have expertise in all kinds of electronic and physical key and security systems. They are also a great bunch of people. So the other day I was at the local park and upon leaving and loading up my little dog my keys fell out of my pocket onto the passenger seat. While I turned around to grab my 2 year old to put her in my dog must have stepped on the keys and locked me out of my vehicle. I called my insurance for roadside assistance. They wanted a credit card number but my wallet was in my locked car. I called 3 other places and no one could help me in my area. Finally called back my insurance and spoke to a different person. The quickest help they could find me was a 2 hour wait. Didn't work with a 2 year old and it getting dark and cold. After getting off the phone I look over and little league practice had begun and the coach just happened to arrive in a van that said A-1 Mobile Lock & Key. I interrupted their practice to ask for help and Andrew graciously obliged. He got me into my car in under 5 minutes and didn't even want payment. He finally agreed to take some cash, not enough though. Knight in shining armor that day. Saved my ass! Thank you!!! Good business and stand up guy. Use this company for all your locksmith needs please.

They were able to fix my VW car key. The key "switch blades" out and the actual metal key had fallen out of the fob part. I took it to Bellingham Lock and Safe first and they refused to work on it. At A-1, they fixed it in a minute and it only cost $2. So happy with their help.

Great service at reasonable prices! I brought in a new key fob that I bought online in order to copy my car key. After cutting it we found out that the fob I bought was incompatible. I wasn't charged for that cut and there was another replacement key available onsite that was cut within fifteen minutes. Quick turnaround and now I have a reliable spare key. Much better than going through a dealer!

I live near Snohomish, and found A1 Lock and Key through calling multiple businesses trying to find someone who had a unique key blank in stock, and the specialized machine to cut it. Out of 30-40 business I called, they were the only ones in Western Washington I found that actually had the blank. I talked with their very helpful staff who told me due to the unique lock I had, they did not have the machine to cut it, however they were able to find my key code, and cut a key by hand that worked perfectly in all of my locks! I am very happy with my experience, and would highly recommend this business.

I called AAA to have a key to be made for the ignition on my Ford F350 and we set an appointment for 2:00pm. Around 1:45pm I looked out the window and saw the door open to my F350 and a A-1 Mobile Van Parked with a man working on a key, I asked whats going on, and he told me he got the door key, but was having trouble with the ignition key and had broke the ignition. I told him I never needed the door key, only the ignition key, and why didn't he come to the door upon arrival? At that point he said he would have a working key done real quick, so I went back inside. Around a half hour later he knocked on the door and told me he had to replace the more (perhaps the pieces he broke!!!) and wanted to charge me twice the market value of the service. This upset me and I told him I need to shop it around. He then said sarcastically "shop it around" and stormed off. I am very disappointed in AAA and A-1 Mobile Lock and Key for sending us an unknowledgeable Locksmith.

We had to have all the locks changed at our business. I called Rachael at 4:30pm and the technician was at our place at 4:45pm! He rekeyed all the locks, cut and labeled the keys, and showed me the condition of our doors and was gone before we closed at 5:30pm. A-1 Mobile turned a small emergency into no-big-deal. Worst service ever! So much for A-1. My child was in the car (11month old) with my keys locked inside. A-1 was inside eating at the restaurant our car was stuck at and they wouldn’t come out and unlock it because “they just got their food”. Be more professional than that. Cmon
