Patrick came over late on a Friday night after my keys had been stolen. It was on short notice and he arrived quickly to change my house lock. I don't think I would have slept much had he not arrive. I did call another local company previously and was strung along. I called them at 5pm, 7pm, 9pm and at 10pm I made only 1 call to Vancity Locksmith and he was here within a half hour. Although they could have overcharged me, they did not. This is a highly reputable company with reasonable rates and I couldn't be happier. They are now on my contact list. Thank you Vancity.

He was able to make new keys for my home, because after installing a digital lock for the front door, we lost all of the house keys over the years. He was able to make all of my door locks the same so could be opened with one master key, which is great, because my digital lock sometimes dies from low battery-don't want to be locked out! I can see why Vancity Locksmith Ltd has been getting such great reviews. Patrick was very polite and professional up front, providing a quote based on what I said I needed done and showed up on time as scheduled within the same day that I requested an appointment. He was considerate, removed his shoes at the entrance without me having to ask and each time, responded via text or cell phone to inform me about his arrival time. He also explained the process of how locks are rekeyed etc. I would certainly call on him again in the future for any locksmithing needs.

I do temp work and I am assigned to various warehouse locations in the Lower Mainland. I parked outside the warehouse to which I was assigned and walked in to begin work. I reached into my pants pocket for the fob to remotely lock my car doors. Lo and behold the fob wasn’t there! It dawned on me that I had left the keys in the pocket of my jacket and the jacket in my car. I frantically searched Google for a locksmith. I came across Vancity Locksmith Ltd. I called Patrick and asked whether he could help me out. I asked Patrick if he could come to the warehouse within an hour and offer a reasonable rate. His responses were “yes” and “$50”. And he delivered (pun intended). Patrick pulled up in his Prius within an hour as promised and apprised me of his arrival via text. Patrick came across as a very friendly and professional individual. He offered to text me once work was completed lest I needed to return to the warehouse in the interim. Before I even had the opportunity to decide whether to go back or wait, the car was unlocked! I chose to tender payment by issuing an Interac-e-transfer. Even though my phone was unusually slow, Patrick politely and patiently walked me through the steps of submitting the Transfer. I would definitely recommend Vancity Locksmith. The bottom line is Patrick gets the job done – the job being, in my case, unlocking a car in a timely fashion and for a reasonable price. And plus – Patrick is a nice savvy guy ????
