We purchased a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage last weekend at Nanaimo Mitsubishi and it only came with one transponder key. The dealership couldn't find the other one. I was afraid of us locking the vehicle with the key inside or worse yet, losing it while out shopping or on the road. The dealership cost to cut and program new keys is upwards of $400, which is outrageous. I called Brian at All Secure Mobile Locksmith's and he told me he could key the vehicle. He called ahead and arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment time. I must say that Brian is very punctual, polite, knowledgeable and very efficient. He knows what he is doing. He made 2 transponder keys, which required programming, and 3 standard keys in the time it takes to have a large coffee at McDonald's and the cost was much less than getting one key cut at the dealership. He also lubricated all the door locks on the vehicle. I am extremely happy with the service that All Secure Mobile Locksmiths provided today. I highly recommend Brian for any task that requires a Locksmith in the Nanaimo area. You will not find anyone more personable, knowledgeable and efficient than he is. I am going to recommend to all my friends, that should they require services from a locksmith, they are to call Brian. They will not be disappointed. I can't say enough great things about All Secure. While closing up shop one evening, the lock on the door broke! I made an after hours call and crossed my fingers! Brian was very professional on the phone and arrived at my business within 20 minutes. He replaced the lock, checked all the working parts of the door (hinges etc), sanitized all work surfaces, and even installed a new handle that was unrelated to the reason I called! Loosing your keys is an expensive mistake! My truck was too old for the dealership to make new keys but Brian made me a set while I was at work. I easily etransferred for the billing, he went to find my truck to program the keys and he delivered them to my place of work. Not only did he replace my transponder keys, he also left me a door lock key AND a set of keys for my canopy locks! Not to mention he greased up my door lock mechanisms and the ignition. As for the keys I lost, he removed them from my truck's computer so no one can use them and if I do find them he is going to walk me through reprogramming. Was a little put out by the price at first but the money was well worth the service and results. You get what you pay for and I am so happy I called All Secure

Luckily, I had my phone with me, so we were able to call Brian and he arrived in about 15 minutes, which was important to us because we had food on the stove and a puppy on the couch. Brian was professional and courteous. He tried to open the lock without drilling it. When he wasn't able to, he drilled the lock and replaced it with a very similar (but sturdier) one. I was very happy with Brian's work, and I thought that the replacement lock he sold me (for $69.99 + GST) was reasonable. I was very happy with the fact that Brian not only made our existing keys work with the new lock, but also with the fact that he also cut two additional keys for free. Having said this, $165 + GST for labour seems a bit much in my opinion (Granted, this was an after-hours call...but isn't the point of a mobile locksmith to be available at all times?), however this in no way reflects on my very high opinion on Brian's expertise and work ethic. I highly recommend All Secure Mobile Locksmiths for all your lock-and-key installation and repair needs.

Brian is a professional, and a gentleman. Fearing what his services might cost for our broken front-door deadbolt, we thought his estimate something we could live with, especially as we couldn't do the work ourselves. Turns out he give the maximum possible price, and was able to save us about $40 off his earlier estimate when it came time to pay the bill. How nice not to be low-balled and left with a higher fee; rather the opposite! Then, he called us later asking to come back, as he had gone back to his home base, and found an even more perfect lock than what he had already laboured to install - and brought it, and installed it, not asking for another dime! Lost my boat keys a day before our annual boat trip down the Alberni canal, panicking I called all the local and naniamo locksmith’s who were rated top ten and it was either a week plus to fit me in or we don’t do mobile calls. Island lock recommended Brian as he is mobile so I called him left a message and within 10 minutes we connected. Brain was able to fit me in and was over as soon as he finished his previous call. I was very impressed as he was able to disassemble my cabin door lock mechanism and remove my boat-ignition system which involves wring tied into my fire suppression and re-keyed and reinstalled everything within an hour and a half. I had 4 happy kids and A happy wife this weekend thanks to Brian????Oh and the price for his hard work in the blistering heat was very reasonable. Thanks Brian you were honestly a saviour.

I have called Brian of All Secure Mobile Locksmiths twice. The first time was to help someone in my neighborhood who had locked themselves out of their house with a crying toddler left inside. Brian consulted with his current customer and he left immediately and came to help. We had phoned every lock smith in the phone book and they all said they were unable to come and help but Brian did not hesitate. The second time was a last-minute emergency lock change on a house half an hour outside of town. I called Brian at 5 p.m. on a Saturday and he was there in a half hour and got everything taken care of. Both times Brian was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. First time needing a locksmith in Nanaimo, so started calling around. The most established locksmith in Nanaimo (Since 1941) doesn't work on sliding doors! What?!? I had Brian come and remove locking gas caps that were on an rv and made of plastic...not metal. Keys both lost. I was referred to Brian as most locksmiths cannot fix the problem if the caps are plastic. But Brian does not let you down and was able to get the locked caps off and rekey them at a very reasonable cost at my location very quickly. He worked in 27 degree heat. I had an unexpected and unfortunate incident turn completely positive due to Brian's amazing work! I had my ignition go in my Ford Focus and when calling around I was quoted unrealistic amounts for the work needed to be done, especially by Ford. Yet, when I call Brian based on reviews, he instantly made me know I was in the right hands and explained the break down of the costs associated with fixing my car and explained how I would be able to save money as well. He was fair, communicative and best of all he came to my work to do the repairs shortly after calling him. My car works like a dream now and he even did a follow up call ensuring that everything was running well and came by again to fix my key and replace it with a new one because he had some come in. You can tell he cares about his customers and honestly wants to provide a genuine service. If I have any lock needs in the future, he will absolutely be my first call. After years struggling with an occasional but recurring issue with the door locks on my Escape, and multiple trips to the dealership - who could find nothing wrong, I was finally able to demonstrate the problem to Brian at All Secure. This time, my driver's door lock was stuck open and I couldn't lock the car. Brian removed the door panel and fixed the lock. He suggested that dust from hundreds of hours of gravel road driving had accumulated in the doors and the locks, and that all of them should be cleaned. I'll be doing this as soon as the weather improves. The best solution previously offered to me was to replace all of the locks on the vehicle. Now I can just try dusting first! Thanks Brian!

Brian replied promptly to the voicemail I left. He came to my home to cut a basic transponder key for me, after I lost one of my original laser-cut OEM car keys. It was a bit of a challenge due to it being a unique one year only key but he prevailed, and he also cut me an all metal non-transponder key to use out on the water, or as a hide-a-key. Excellent service, and reasonable cost (41% cheaper than the dealer), as expected from a detail oriented and professional self-employed business owner. Even though the car was in my garage and I had the original key, he verified ownership, comparing my ID to the registration papers to ensure he wasn't dealing with a nefarious character. Very Covid conscious too, wearing a mask and sanitizing surfaces of my car's interior when finished.
