Great guys, fast service. Many of the offices around use them. This particular location always seems to be staffed by people that really enjoy locks (which is a good thing in a locksmith). I've used Al Scott for years and they have always been top notch. (Both personally and in a variety of business uses).

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Disinterested staff behind counter, another staff member watching videos on the computer in plain sight as 4 people waited for service. Was quoted one price for a car key cut on the phone, then charged double for it at the till. When I pointed that out I was met with silence from the employee but after he grunted I noticed that the price had been changed on the debit terminal to what I was quoted - so at least I didn't pay double for poor service.

Took a car lock in to have a key made. They charged me double what they quoted, broke the lock*, and they key only worked when I pulled it out 1mm. After some argument a refund was issued. * Lock reassembled 180* out / missing "start" return spring.

Lock picking. They say "no extra fees or charges on the phone. 5he after five minutes work, they hit you with $370.00 fee just for coming out to do a service call! Notice the positive review here are for copying keys in store, heck! A twelve year old without training can copy a key in a convenience store! And crooks like Al Scott lock and key has a dozen names and phone number to scam you! Beware, Google CBC Marketplaces expose on crinal locksmiths overcharging ... I sure wish I would have, but alas, I simply googled "locksmith near me" and of course their Google ad showed at the top of the list. Buyer Beware.

Very unsettling experience by a complacent clerk behind the till. I'm sure he was used to dealing with contractors who knew something about locks, but I was a woman who didn't have the "terminology" right.....and he went above and beyond to point out how stupid he thought I was! In one instant, he 'informed" my ignorant self that "locks were for keys" or "keys were for locks"...... I don't remember which, as by that time I was thoroughly perplexed by his deep, exasperated sighs and rudeness! Maybe I should have joked about him having a bad day, but in my opinion, he didn't like his job, had no patience, and shouldn't have been behind the till if he didn't know how to greet customers!
