Have some of the best locks that you can get for any reason in your house safe and they do key cutting reasonable and quick. Very friendly service knowledgeable staff very willing to answer any questions.

Has difficulties with simple key cutting! Have done business there before and was always happy with service, so I went back for a more precise job of cutting a pair of chipped car keys. Both keys were cut wrong and didn't work. Likely the original master key was put in wrong, and not enough checking was done. Technician was very apologetic, and tried to find a solution, replacement or compensation for fairly expensive keys. After leaving I got a call back to return to talk to the "manager". Upon meeting this manager, I was told that it was essentially my mistake for giving the work to them, and they should not be offering any compensation at all. This is nominally a well equipped shop, but there are others around, and I won't deal with thise guys ever again.

I had the pleasure of visiting this location the other week as I'm upgrading all the hardware on our house. The staff was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. They informed me on a wide variety of high security locks and I'll be choosing Mul-T-Lock. I speak highly of this place as I did have a tremendous amount of questions and they were very patient with me. They even took all my information to book a service call for a technician to install everything so having to call and explain my situation to a customer service representative was completely taken off my hands. Very helpful people. I even got a nice fancy character key for my daughter! Hands down I give this shop an A+ Thanks Action :-)

I called at 7:30 am after locking myself out. Was greeted in a very pleasant and understanding way. Even though it was too early for the technicians to be out, I was told one would call ASAP. It was less than 10 minutes later when I got the call. Luckily, I had managed to track down my spare keep with the strata council so I cancelled the call out, but based on that level of service, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if I needed to (hopefully during business hours!!). As a property manager having great locksmiths and security contractors is a must! Action is a great company to work with. Fast to respond, well priced and great work. The owner is amazing to deal with. I was in a bind recently with mailboxes being broken into at one of my buildings and I called him and he was able to dispatch his crew there to repair within a couple of hours. Called about a specific type of lock, was told on the phone yes they have it, I wasn’t sure if they actually did since I hadn’t said the full specifications yet, then they told me no, they don’t actually have it. Glad I was able to save a trip, but if I hadn’t prodded them further myself, I would have wasted a trip.

I've been meaning to have a key cut for ages but haven't gotten around to it... I stopped in to get a key cut and was impressed with how quickly and relatively inexpensive it was to get a key cut here. I actually ended up getting another one cut due to the price. I've had issues with other places after having a key cut and the key not working. But the key worked perfectly, it actually worked better than the original key in opening my door lock. Great!

Got couple of keys cut. Pretty good price compared to a few places I've gone to ($2 something/key as opposed to $4 or $5 something). They seem to have problems with mailbox keys so careful with those.

I came here needing a key cut for an older Honda CRV. The service was friendly! However the price was not! It cost $160 for ONE key!!! However the guy was very professional! I couldnt find parking close to the shop. He walked 3 blocks with me to make sure the key fit and worked. Happy with the service! Price not thrilled with.

Action Security sent out a technician and it took four hours to reset and screw up my existing system. After leaving the door would set off alarm as soon as I returned home. Technician did not finish the job after four hours and I had to ask him to leave at that point. Obviously he did not know what he was doing he spent most of his time looking at a repair manual trying to figure out what was going on. I had to call another security company to repair the system after he left. They found a screw through the battery of the system box and reset the system in less than an hour. action tried to charge me over $400 for this and in the end I agreed to pay for just a service call which I don't think I should I had to pay at all. The technician also wanted to take a picture of my credit card when he was leaving? Unusual practice for a company. I feel a responsibility to post this on public media to warn other potential customers.

When I called to get another key for my apartment, I was told to bring an ID and it can be done but the procedure was something different. I realized that Action is not just selling keys and locks but they are making more secure our houses, apartment and buildings. Customer service should be more trained? I don’t know lol !
