I work at a local business, and we had an attempted break in, which failed due to a few factors, but we called these guys in. They got to the store within an hour of calling, they didn’t have the parts so had to come back. Different guy shows up a bit later, Cary was awesome. Very friendly and did a great job, communicated everything that was getting done and any details, let me test the key to make sure it felt right to me. Would 100% recommend, specially if you ask for Cary.

Very fast and friendly service, called today want my new home's lock replaced. I was late 20 minutes because of traffic, the staff wasn't upset at all! Polite, fast, efficient, honest. I asked to replace the lock and he said re-keying will do the trick, saved me a lot of money. He even taught me how to re-key myself so that I don't need to pay him to do this next time!! Super friendly, I can't be happier.

one of their reps Mark Poson refused my payment because it was interact then he threatened me saying he would lock my door while we were out. All around rude bad mannered guy. OH and for 160 to use a slip card on the door a total crook too.

If I could give this no stars I would. They charged my mother for them to fix their mistake, then when she refused to pay for THEIR mistake(after paying her initial fee) they came and broke keys off in our locks. We have had to replace all of our locks once again which was what we initially hired them to do.

A year ago, our house keys were stolen and we found ourselves locked out at 12:30am. Called these guys and had a locksmith with us within twenty minutes on a Saturday night! He tried really hard to break the lock so we could salvage it and save us money in not have to buy a new one, but ended up having to drill it. Installed a new lock, was all said and done by 1:30am. Reasonably priced as well. Thank you!

Local realtor who used to get keys cut here all the time. Today came in and received poor service and an attempt to upsell me into more expensive services with weak explanations as to why I need to do so.

Terrible experience and customer service. I called to book an appointment for a locksmith to come out to replace the lock on the mailbox at an apartment building. I explained that I don't live there, so we'd just be meeting for the locksmith and could someone come at a specific time. I was told he would have them there AROUND that time. We waited an hour and then called the office. The person told me, "I don't know, if he said he'd be there, he'll be there." He said that, for some reason, he had no way of contacting the locksmith to see if he was coming. We waited another two hours and no one showed up or called. It's been a few days now and I haven't heard a thing from them. Will not use again or recommend.

We had an issue with a malfunctioning door handle/lock at our business after-hours. The dispatcher was very efficient and friendly, and the locksmith was in touch with us almost immediately and was on-site in less than an hour. Really impressive for a Friday night at 10 PM! He was professional, friendly, and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend.

Would not recommend this company to install an intercom buzzer system. The sales rep was very poor with communication to us, and his techs. To be fair, the wiring in our building was not up to par for newer systems leading to complications, but communication could have made the process a lot smoother. Other companies were concerned about power and wiring. The sales rep from Accurate came in with confidence and was not concerned. It seemed that he knew our old system and that there shouldn’t be any issues. So, our strata went with Accurate. We told the rep that decorative slate would need to be cut to fit the new system and asked if we would need to hire a contractor. He said no. The tech showed up, stumped by the slate and could not figure out where the power came from for the intercom. We were then told that we would need to hire a contractor to cut the slate by the sales rep. Communication failure. The sales rep then came with a different tech for a walkthrough and said he could cut the slate at no added cost. Good. During the visit, the sales rep tried to sell us other products instead of worrying about the issue at hand. During the second attempt we were told that we didn’t have proper wiring for the new system!!! WHY WASN’T THIS FIGURED OUT DURING THE WALKTHROUGH?! THEY WERE LOOKING AT THE WIRES!! After expressing our disappointment, we were told a new system compatible with our wiring was rush ordered and we got a considerable discount. Good. The third attempt, I get home to find out the “new system” was not what we were expecting. We wanted a product with digital display, postal lock and keypad for code entry. Instead, we got pretty much exactly what we were replacing which was a simple system with 4 buttons that would buzz each residence. We were told AFTER THE INSTALLATION that this was the only product that would work with our building and that it was the same cost as the product we initially wanted! So pretty much we were about to pay $3k for something we already had. Communication failure. I called one of the companies that we SHOULD have gone with, and they were able to recommend a unit that would work, but we would need a phone line run to the front of the building, and power run from the nearest plug. The hardwired handsets would not longer work. Each unit would either need a land line or have the buzzer call cel phones. But we would have the upgrade we wanted. None of this was recommended by Accurate. When we asked the sales rep to look into the system recommended by another company he said we would have to pay a restocking fee for the product that we did not agree to or even told about!!! Finally, after back and forth discussions about not paying the restocking fee, the sales rep finally figured out that the initial system we put the deposit on would work as long as we get a phone line and power installed to the front of the building. We would also not have to pay the restocking fee as long as they can get the product back ASAP. Therefore, we had to frantically contract electricians, Telus, a dry wall crew and painters so that he wouldn’t lose money to his suppliers. So finally, starting in September when we first started the project for our strata, we finally have an intercom working and installed at the beginning of March.

We live downtown Vancouver in the West End. I needed a new dead bolt so called in to their office in the Mall on Denman. Mark was great and I had my new deadbolt plus door handles etc installed in a few days. Then a month later the key was sticking. I called Accurate and they sent Frank to see me. He knew exactly what was wrong, the one hinge just needed a little tweaking/shaving and within 5 minutes it was all fixed. Great service and just loved Frank. So friendly and accommodating. June and Nelson - West End. Vancouver (Angelina in the office in Langley who receives the calls was also superb.)

Not impressed, as a Security Alarm company. Don't appear to be knowledgable of the products they represent. One of the technicians sent out to us was rough and disorganized. It's been a less than satisfactory experience from day ONE! System has never functioned properly from the get go.Probably wouldn't recommend this company…..shop around!

Worst service. My garage was broken into and the alarm did not even go off. When I called to advise them their system had failed the very rude lady on the phone said "well we are not an insurance company what do you want me to do about it" what kind of response is that. I pay for a service I am not even getting because they used inadequate equipment and did the least amou lont of work possible so I would sign their contract. So now my stuff is stolen from my garage and they stole my money for a system that does not work and did not keep my home safe. After my items were stolen they sent someone to check the equipment...after?? I would not recommend anyone use this company and look for a more repudable company that will recommend the proper quality equipment before your home is burglarized.

I called on the weekend and the guy that answered was fine and gave me a price over the phone but asked me to call on Monday to place an order and book a time. I called today and dispatch told me I had to have to do an onsite first before they would even discuss options with me. Wow. Shady. Trying to charge customers up front with no guarantee of service!

Barry Cox provided excellent service and advice when we installed our alarm system. His expertise and professionalism were invaluable in designing a system that met our specific needs. We were still a little shell shocked from a break in attempt while we were sleeping and wanted sensors on practically everything that moved. Barry was very patient and knowledgeable about what we actually needed and led us through the process to protect our home and achieve peace of mind. Can’t thank him enough! The alarm system works very well. Monitoring team responds quickly when the alarm is set off - mostly in error by us. When one of the window sensors malfunctioned, the service team were very responsive and efficient in determining what the problem was and in repairing it. The office staff who deal with calls for appointments and billing matters are very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend Accurate Security for your alarm system and home protection needs - especially if Barry Cox is your representative.

Mistake after mistake after mistake! Had used them once before for a home alarm which was fine but for this new install/service, service and quality from the initial quote to the install have slipped through the cracks. As soon as my contract is up, I will find a new provider for hardware and monitoring services.

Accurate sent a rude kid to loosen a front door lock - no good morning - location on a 3 mile radius - used a can to spray on the lock to loosen. At one point the kid dropped his keys-I picked it up and handed it over - not even a nod or a thanks. Charged $120 for a 60 sec task. Again, not even a thank you. Accurate you need to teach your staff manners.

Made a reservation about one and-a-half hour in advance for a locksmith. The woman on the line said a locksmith will be on site at 3:30PM and did not come until well after 4PM. Once the locksmith replaced our lock I noticed the lock cylinder/deadbolt fails to secure properly in place. I asked the locksmith for adjustment but was met with a rude and belligerent attitude, repeated everything is fine and said “I have never been questioned before in my life”. I clearly told the locksmith that I cannot be satisfied with the work until adjustment are made when he finally agreed to enlarge the jamb to accommodate the deadbolt. Funny thing is throughout the interaction the locksmith was bashing another employee of Accurate Lock & Safe which was rather weird. The bill comes out to be $235 with $66 service charge which I found unreasonable. Called the company and spoke to the same lady and she acknowledged the poor customer service but avoided negotiating on that premium fee paid for service. Overall the deal was unpleasant and unprofessional – be aware of unreasonable charges.

Very poor customer service. I called ahead of time with questions about a certain product. When I came to buy the product, the second salesperson told me the product would not do what the first person had told me it would do. I asked if anyone else there would be able to tell me definitively, since they were telling me two different things. The other staff gave me at a different answer. it seems to me the staff could be better educated about the products they are selling. On top of that, they were fairly rude and dismissive about the whole thing.

Witnessed a vehicle from this company illegally park in a designated disabled parking space on West Broadway today. Upon returning to his vehicle, driver was very rude saying he was "just running in". Not acceptable! Yuck!

Very knowledgeable, did not up sell. They rebuilt a small lock for me with missing keys and missing pins. Saved me $200 from having to buying a new chest. The New West store has the most staff/tools. Coquitlam store is fine for key cutting and simple things too. They are busy so prepare to wait.

Don't waste your time with these guys. Called in to get car key programmed(which i eas told they do) and went to Coquitlam only to be told when the phone calls in it goes to New West. Then goto New West to be told they don't program "that type" of key. They should probably make mention of their service before having their potential customers run all over the city. Wasted effort!

Last week I was locking my door to go to an appointment in New West ( I live in Van) and the lock broke , locking me out in the pouring rain. I drove to my appointment and went into Accurate on 6th hoping for the name of a Van company. I was sent to Fiona ( the dispatcher) in the back and I sat as she made and sent several phone calls. Within 5 minutes she passed me a note and said that Cary would be at my place within half an hour. I drove back to Van and Cary arrived 5 minutes later. He replaced the lock, cleaned up and presented me with a reasonable bill. Excellent service.

They provided great service and are cheaper than competitors. More so the locksmith, Tony, informed me that if I want to save money in the future for rekeying that I van bring in the lock to the shop and have it done there or buy a new lock.

One star just for the price. The service monitoring are not as promised or like when they sell you the service! This is not the first time this is happening but they suppose to send technician to fix the service im paying for and they keep changing the date and the time. I left work staid home for a day for them to show up and again they just sent a text that we moved your appointment to tomorrow ! Not everyone free every single day ! I don’t recommend accurate alarm.

I am very happy with the service I received from Accurate Security. I had sent an email requesting a quote for opening a safe and received a response right away. When I was shopping around just to see what other places were charging, it was at least double what Accurate quoted me. I quickly emailed & phoned asking when the next available day was to get my safe opened and they were able to come the next morning. I am so grateful for the fast and friendly service received! I definitely recommend using this company!

Worst experience ever. Awful after-care. I tried to contact the phone number since I had the same problems even after I got new alarm system installed, but they never returned my call. When I was finally able to talk to someone, he said that I would have to pay for fixing the problem. When the sales person came to my house for sales, he said he knew what's wrong with my alarm system and all the issues that I had were because of my alarm system was too old. Now I got totally new alarm system installed and after a few months, we are having exactly the same problem! And he says if we want to get it fixed, we have to pay. It's not even 6 months since we got the new alarm. This is not fair at all. We are very disappointed and frustrated.
