I have been using Pre-Lock Security Services for over ten years now mainly for my offices. Pre-Lock has a unique service in that they intimately know their customers. We rely on Pre-Lock for all of our high security locks throughout our offices as well as our alarm system. Pre-Lock's alarm service is really exceptional as we can easily e-mail in changes with staff in order to add or remove codes and their response has consistently been within the same business day. Paul Seidman has also personally consulted with me with regard to overall security strategy and how to avoid break-ins. Together we were able to come up with a cost effective strategy which has successfully kept my premises break-in free. This is really relevant to me because two of my neighbors have been broken in to, which has resulted in severe operating losses for them. A number of years ago we moved into our house, we had Prelock change the locks to the front door inside garage door. For years the locks have worked flawlessly. Recently, we replaced our front door (it owed us nothing) but it came with a different lock and keys. So I called Prelock to see what can be done to have both new front door and existing inside door to the garage use the same key and hopefully continue to use our existing keys. Tristan was amazing researching and clearly explaining my options. Tristan arranged to have multiple lock barrels brought to see what works best. John did an amazing job and not only was he able to fit a proper lock barrel in the new door, he incredibly was able to adjust it to use our existing keys. Yay. I would not hesitate to use Prelock anytime a locksmith is needed. And am also speaking to Paul about upgrading our home security system. Great job and thanks Tristan, John and Paul.

We recently purchased a new home and dad suggested we use the same company we use for our corporation installation and monitoring of alarm and cameras. I met with the owner and his crew. Needed to get into our house after being on holidays for almost 2 weeks we were dropped off at our house by the limo straight from the airport. Realizing we did not have our keys we knew we had a problem. We googled locksmith service and found Pre-Lock. My experience with Pre-Lock Security was okay but not great compared to some others. The service guy who came to my home wasn't terribly friendly. He did the rekey service but re-installed the side door lock the wrong way. The locking side became vertical and the unlocked side horizontal, which he should've realized since he completed the front door first properly. Had to watch a youtube video on how to fix his mistake. I was told the deadbolt needed to be replace because it was broken which was fine but after the work was done all the wood shavings from the door and frame were just left on the floor for me to clean up. Also the service charge was quite expensive, more than what was quoted. The person who quoted me failed to mention it was before taxes (since I had to pay for the deadbolt replacement) and they only took a credit card though I wanted to pay cash. wasn't an emergency call either. Overall I am not sure I would recommend them to anyone I know considering there are other cheaper and equally reputable locksmiths in the city. Just glad the locks are changed. UPDATE: Got a call from the owner Paul. Had a conversation and glad he called to sort things out. It was reassuring to hear directly from him. If I need locksmith services again from PLSS I will request Paul to do the work.

Company is ok. they provide the services they promise. very expensive compared to the local market. very knowledgable but not recommended for small clients as too expensive. if you dont own a few building research some prices for other companies. make sure to get flat rates. overall This company is great but so are a lot of other companies. who knows when it comes to a locksmith at 3 am pre-lock may just be your only option

They actually have an office and nice show room which I wanted to see before we made our purchase decision . They made some good security suggestions and we purchased new locks and also a floor safe. I called my security company with short notice that needed their team to pre-wire my construction site for my new alarm system. Unbeknownst to us, we had to put in the wires before the drywall guys arrived later that same day. In the middle of a snow storm they showed up anyways and managed to finish the wiring quickly and neatly so that my construction crew could close the walls later that day. Great work Prelock. Even the owner of the company showed up to make sure everything was done correctly and quickly.
