I ONLY WRITE REVIEWS WHEN WARRANTED! I had called top 10 Locksmiths that were listed in Google and the only company that answered professionally was Ideal LockSmith. As I explained our urgent situation with Al, he assured me that they can handle it same day and with no issues. I was very pleased to hear from Spencer who was going to perform the service on the door and kept me posted on arrival time, which was very professional as I use third party companies our house maintenance and pleased with the level of communication. When Spencer arrived he explained and provided all the details to my wife on what needed to be done. Spencer wasted no time fixing the front door lock and providing additional keys and had my wife retry the old vs the new keys to ensure only the new keys would work. Ideal LockSmith is a father and son owned business and their level of service reflects that type of care. I had a stuck deadbolt lock. I called Ideal Lock and Service to get them to come either fix it or replace it. I spoke with Spencer there. We were just about to set up a time for the repair when Spencer remembered that the particular lock could be under warranty. He supplied me with the number to call, making it easy for me. The lock company is sending me a replacement cylinder. Problem solved. No cost to me. That is the kind of service I respect because it cost him a job. So, thumbs up to Ideal Lock and Service.

Spencer is amazing, honest, caring & saved me money. I phoned him to come fix my lock. While on the phone he realized that I can get a replacement under warranty. I got and installed it but had problems. Again phoned him to come do it but he helped me in 10 minutes over the phone. It's perfect now, Thanks to Spencer and how good he is. When I first called Spencer he was unable to come out, but he took the time to try to help me over the phone. An hour later he texted me to see if I had sorted out my problem (which I hadn't). Spencer then came out, replaced my lock, and repaired the door latch. Fantastic job and although I hope I never have to use his services again I know who I'll be calling of I need to.

When I first called, Spencer was very honest as he pointed out that I could claim warranty to avoid needing to buy a new lock. I ultimately needed his help in removing the existing hardware and install a new set, which he booked me in for the next morning since it wasn't urgent. The entire process was smooth and quick. Spencer was very attentive: he helped me tighten existing hardware that he didn't install (because it bugs him that things aren't right!), and adjusted the door and frame to better accommodate the new hardware (my door has never operated this smoothly!). A+ in service and would highly recommend.
