I got the wrong key stuck in our car ignition. Randomly looked up a locksmith and called this company. The person who answered offered to send someone out right away, but suggested I try a few things myself first. Used his advice and it worked. He also called me back 30 minutes later to make sure I was okay. His first instinct was to share his expertise, and help me out, as opposed to making a few bucks. Customer satisfaction is one thing, building customer loyalty is completely different. A-OK Locksmiths seems to have that quality. Not at all surprised they have such great reviews.

I called Steve because I was an idiot and lost my only key and he sold me a replacement cylinder but it didn't fit. He drove out to give me a second one that also didn't fit (haha), and then finally he rekeyed the entire deadbolt assembly. He was professional, friendly, and helpful the entire time. I also got a pretty old school fridge magnet and some pens, which decorate my fridge so that's pretty sweet!

Steve at A-OK has shown himself to be a professional throughout my experience, starting from the time he answered the phone. I had completed some lock replacement work myself and was looking for a low cost option for the final parts of re-keying a back door. Rather amusingly when I suggested to Steve that I was considering trying to do this final part myself he responded saying "uh... no, that's not what you want. You want me for that part." I laughed. He'll tell it to you straight. From there Steve and I worked out a flexible situation that was suitable for both parties as there was no urgency. Despite the lack of urgency Steve got it done quickly. There was a curve ball in the job when it came to be completed but Steve deftly worked that out own his own. Keys and locks still have some mysterious parts to them. I am pleased. I have one key for my whole house which I haven't had for the ten years I've lived in my home. Yes!
