I lost my only set of keys to my garage and mailbox and Pop-A-Lock showed up early the next morning prior to 9 am to open the garage and mailbox and installed new locking mechanisms on both, thus using the same hardware already in place. Service was all done on sight, including key cutting, very impressive and extremely convenient. Entire service was done in about 15 minutes. Wow!! Just an amazing service overall and the bill was very reasonable. I'm definitely going to use their services in the future if any such event occurs again. I am going to use them for a different "access" service. I'm actually having them come to my office to look at quoting us for an access and security system. A tap card/fob system for entering the office, which also provides key data on who entered, when they entered or leave, which can be used for timing of work days, breaks and other metrix. Maybe I'll give a review on that too if I go ahead with the system. Thanks to Rob and the crew that showed up that morning.

After accidentally dropping and locking the keys into the trunk of my car, I realized I needed some duplicates. Pop-A-Lock made it so convenient. They came to the house, took my keys and in less than an hour gave me a few sets at a very reasonable price. I didn't have to sit in the waiting room at the dealership or find the time to squeeze it into a busy day. It's a great service!

Bought my first car and needed a second key for the vehicle, was refured to Pop-A-Lock and the technician came and evaluated the car. He then programmed and cut a new key in less then an hour, very happy with the service provided, would highly recommend to anyone needing a lock smiths service.

WE GOT BITES!

Extremely unprofessional. Don’t waste your time, they won’t even get the job done after all the hassle they put you through. Firstly, we did not receive an email confirming the appointment we made on the phone (they specifically said we would receive one). Then, when the day finally came for our agreed upon appointment no one showed up. We called to see what was going on and they said our appointment was not until the following day at a completely different time. That didn’t work for us so we rescheduled for the following week. On that day we received a phone call 15 minutes after they were supposed to be here that they would be an hour late. The man spent an hour sitting in our vehicle, looking like he wasn’t doing anything, only to come out and say he was not able to program either of the new key fobs we asked for. We were told we would receive a phone call with a new appointment time once they figured out what the issue was. That was a week and a half ago, they have not called. I wish I could rate a zero star

First off, after calling Adam the owner, I was unsure whether they could fix my broken ignition. Well Thursday, the day of my appointment, they showed up early by like 10 minutes. Where the process of re-conditioning my ignition in my Blue 2005 Honda Civic it only took 30 Minutes. Fast, reliable and I'm super happy. When my ignition died on Saturday I was devastated and not knowing where to turn I was severely depressed and anxious with extremely high anxiety because I didn't know how I was going g to afford replacing the ignition assembly at Honda which would be 1100.00 after taxes. So when I searched Google I found Pop-A-lock and I was weary because of some negative reviews and just never experienced this issue before so I was unsure if this would be fixed as my car was towed to Listowel Honda. You have no Idea how happy I was when I got back in my car and started up immediately. I'm glad I contacted Pop-A-Lock. People if your unsure if you should use this company I will tell you I don't put my name behind businesses unless they meet or exceed my extremely high standards I won't promote them. I say go contact POP-A-LOCK. BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD... you can take that to the bank.

I had the privilege of receiving service from Pop-A-Lock a few weeks ago. During my first week of the job I happened to lock my key in the car... not fun. I found Pop-A-Lock online, gave them a call, and they were very helpful! They came within the hour, and even though I could not afford the service charge they agreed to help me out anyways and trusted me to pay them back first pay. I called at noon on a Friday after my car decided to no longer recognize my keyfob and I couldn't start my vehicle anymore. It was the only key I had, and I was stressed. The gentleman on the phone was kind and curious, very professional. Gave me a rough quote and then gave me a call back within the hour to give me a time frame on when he could have a technician out to help. The tech didn't have the right chip for my key fob but was able to get me a second simple key that would work for what I needed. The tech set up a second time to come out with the correct chip that worked for my time. Very satisfied with their amazing service!

Recently, I lost my car keys + fob. I called CAA, who directed me to Pop-A-Lock. I made an appointment for the following day. A service technician named Dave met me at my vehicle. He worked outside in the cold for over two hours to get the job done. This was a stressful time, but Dave at Pop-A-Lock helped by working quickly and providing a solution. To add: I called other lost key services in the area before finding Pop-A-Lock through CAA. Over the phone, those other services gave off a very unprofessional tone. For instance, no one would give me an exact quote for their service. By comparison, the representative at Pop-A-Lock (Mark, I think), gave me an exact quote (which was identical to what I eventually paid). If you get locked out & need new keys, go with Pop-A-Lock.

This company provides an exceptional service that is very well priced. I lost my keys over this weekend, so I called the Ford dealership and they referred me to PopaLock. I spoke with one of their service representatives around 9 am and they had one of their technicians come out to my car in Guelph before noon. The gentleman on the phone said they were busy and they still managed to have a new key cut for me by noon? The cost was also cut in half compared to what I would of had to pay to have my car towed to the dealership and had them conduct the service. I contacted Pop-a-lock after sifting through a large amount of seemingly fake/scammy locksmiths advertised online in the Guelph area (be wary of these). I needed a key made for my older motorcycle and did not have a spare nor a key code so it was a tricky job (non-emergency). The technician came to my home and was able to make a key to unlock the seat and the ignition without too much trouble. The technician had trouble with the gas cap and suggested bringing it to a mechanic since it seemed to have seized. After a week or so I ended up reaching out because I was having trouble unlocking the steering via the ignition using the provided key - they were very responsive and helpful and the same technician came out the very next day to take a look. They made me a new key which works well in the ignition and even managed to get the gas cap unstuck for me, at no extra charge from the first visit. They were very understanding and friendly to deal with throughout, I would recommend Pop-a-Lock if you are looking for a legitimate professional locksmith in the SW Ontario area!

Worst service I have ever received. Period. Honestly, wish I hadn’t wasted my time with this rude and arrogant company. Sure, they said, we can do it! Nope. Couldn’t cut a key for my Ford Escape although the technician spent all afternoon, had to take the door off and then broke the handle. When I called the owner to voice my concern he actually had the audacity to say “Well You shouldn’t have lost your key”. Unbelievable response! If there was a zero posted here he would get it. Use any other service but this. Don’t fall for the lower prices with CAA. Just not worth the five hour aggravation:( Of course he will have a response to this but don’t fall for it! (Note.
