I have never seen persistence like this. The key broke inside my Abus bike lock. I had an extra key so I preferred to save the lock. Instead of taking the easy way out and cutting it, the gentleman worked at picking the lock for an hour until it finally released the broken piece. He saved me a $150 purchase of a new lock. 10/10 for Pop-a-Lock. My automobile ignition was seized... The key wouldn't turn. I had roadside assistance come... the 2 tow drivers were mechanics and gave up trying to start the car after 10 minutes. Towed to the dealer, who upon paying a $120 "diagnosis fee" concluded after jiggling the key twice that I needed a complete ignition cylinder replacement and various key reprogramming charges totalling almost $2,000. I called Pop-a-Lock and within 2 hours a uniformed locksmith arrived in a branded van. He was very friendly and in less than 10 minutes manipulating my ignition with keys, tools, and lubricant, he was able to make my keys turn the cylinder! He was truly a "Lock Whisperer". Best part was the total fee for Pop-A-Lock was less than 5% of what the dealer was quoting me! Invoicing and payment was done by credit card via a tablet and receipt emailed to me just seconds later.

Locked my keys iIn my jeep last night. Called CAA but their response team was unable to open my jeep because it needs a special tool. CAA has a contract with Pop A Lock and they did a great job. They show up this morning 9 o’clock as they said they would open my jeep without problem. Great customer service good communication and excellent value CAA covered $100 through my CAA Plus membership and I just had to pay an extra $11.30 for the tax.

I had what appeared to be a simple enough job, but not the skills to do it. Needed to reattach the front doorknob which had come undone at the hands of an overzealous granddaughter. I was hoping to avoid having to replace the entire locking mechanism. called the Toronto area designate at noon on Saturday as I lost my car keys at the airport and needed simple entry to the vehicle at my home (no rush) where I have another key stored - the response was unenthusiastic and I was told that they were fully booked, with no further inquiry - I asked about Sunday and was told that the earliest MIGHT be Monday (- I called another auto locksmith and stated 'no rush' - they had their on-call person call me within 5 minutes with an arrival time of half an hour - and price (not cheap, never is) quoted up front... he arrived early, was congenial, opened the door within a few minutes, checked that I had accessed my spare key and did a quick e-payment) if I have to give one star - I guess it is for picking up the phone.. doesn't seem advisable to consider this service, locally, for the accidental child/pet locked in a car offer.. depends on who serves your area it seems - maybe it's an anomaly note: there is a response that appeared quickly below after posting - that they are only in operation on weekdays- closed Saturday and Sunday was not listed on the site or stated by the person answering the phone - upfront that would have been good to know and taken at face value (oh, only weekdays, fine - vs. "we are fully booked today'' and Sunday... if that is the policy/practice... just say so) - the info. states that it is posted in the google listing - vs the website or by the employee (which is an unusal means of communicating hours to potential customers - who have called)

I lost a car key and needed a key cut plus the other two keys and immobilizer reprogrammed. Milcho a jovial lock technician came promptly ahead of the scheduled time. He took my old keys and tested them. Since he was not sure how my request is to be worked on, he called his technical support help desk who walked him through the process. Milcho cut my key and programmed all three keys and immobilizer per his instructions in less than 10 minutes. The new key, although not a Honda brand is a good sturdy key with a 6 month warranty. Excellent job by Milcho! Will certainly use their services again if needed. Although the company does not have an address listed on its website, it is not a fly by night operation and is a professional franchise. This company is a WSIB registered firm called ANGEL'S SHARE HOLDINGS INC. / POP-A-LOCK OF HALTON at 109 THOMAS ST, OAKVILLE, ON, L6J3A7. Reasonable pricing. Keep up the good work guys! I do have one question though. No one was able to send me a tag and correctly inform me of how to use the free key return program. Will the owner be able to answer this here so everyone reading the review reply understands this?

Milcho from Pop-A-Lock came and replaced both of my locks for my condo and locker units. I had an excellent experience with the company and I’ll detail it below. 1. Milcho was very easy to deal with. He was respectful and worked efficiently. My locker unit had a challenging type of lock yet he was able to change it in a reasonable amount of time. He also was personable: when we were in the elevator, he asked about where I grew up and told me about his time spent in different countries across the world. He made the effort to build customer satisfaction. Moreover, I left my phone on silent before he came in the morning for the appointment. I felt bad that he could not get through to me when he called me since I was asleep. I only woke up when he knocked on my front door (I just moved in the day before and was exhausted from the move). He did not seem frustrated at me sleeping through my phone on silent when he was trying to call me. This would be frustrating for anyone. By not showing any frustration, this showed Milcho was professional. 2. The price of Pop-A-Lock was half of what the cost of the in-house recommended locksmith for our condo building was. 3. The employee Paul who I spoke to when I called the company to set up the appointment with Milcho was also pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to replace their locks!
