My experience with LocksmithExpress and Rado was excellent. We had a lock on our backyard french doors that was no longer working. I had put off repairing it for a while simply because I’d never dealt with a locksmith before and dreaded the thought of the expense and figuring out how to find someone I could trust. I saw the great reviews online and decided to give this company a call. I spoke with Rado who let me know he could come by to take a look when I was done work, which was super convenient for me. It turns out that the lock is some sort of fancy European lock that would require a special order from the States to replace. Rado had a brilliant idea that could save the hassle: to switch the broken piece out with the other french door (that doesn’t open). It worked! Every other locksmith company I contacted for quotes jumped to ordering a new lock which would take more than a week to get in, and costing anywhere from $100-$1000. So glad I went with LocksmithExpress. The repair was quick, clean and effective, and Rado is a really nice guy. As a bonus, my fiancé was impressed with the work AND with me for finding a great locksmith.

I was having an awful week and on top of it all I locked my work laptop in my cabinet and forgot the keys at home! I called Locksmith Express at 6AM! I received a call back within 5 minutes and the gentleman was very nice and very helpful! I love that Locksmith Express is 24 hours because the reality is you won’t always need a locksmith during business hours, I speak from experience! Locksmith Express is the way to go! I needed four locks rekeyed, and after calling around to get some quotes I decided to go with Rado from Locksmith Express. Of the companies I contacted he was both the most affordable quote and the most upfront with how much the rekeying would cost, plus he included two keys per lock in his cost. He arrived on-time and wearing a mask due to COVID-19. He was able to complete everything in about 40 minutes, and he encouraged me to test all of the new keys to make sure they fit and that everything locked/unlocked smoothly. He also noticed that the one of my door handles was a bit loose and he fixed that too! Five stars for affordability, timeliness, and for going above-and-beyond with his services.

Radoslav from Locksmithexpress came over to fix our gate lock that he installed last July...i couldn't get the key to work. It must have been frozen...because when he put the key in it worked for him. I felt a bit stupid ....but he was gracious and very kind. He did not want to take any money for his time. I live in downtown toronto...he's from Etobicoke. How often does that happen! He has done a number jobs for us in the past and is always prompt honest, efficient and very pleasant to work with. Today my doorknob came off in my hand along with the spindle part. I called Rado (I googled locksmith and saw incredibly high reviews) I explained the problem and sent him pictures of the parts. He called me back within minutes and pointed me to the only place to get the parts: The Door Store. I called them, took the parts, met in the parking lot. They fixed me up with good old parts. (Hardware from 1920’s), and explained how to put them together ... I did it myself. I would not have found these parts without his help. If I ever need a locksmith I will call Rado. In spite of my efforts to DIY my issue and watching countless videos on YouTube to fix my broken lock on my front door, I had reached an impasse and could not figure out what was wrong and how to actually fix it. With the weather outside reaching negative 20 degrees, I couldn't afford NOT to have a front door that didn't close or lock properly and wait to get around to it along with all of my other honey-do projects that have been put on the back burner. Time to call in the pro's! I filled out a request for service on Homestars home page for a broken lock and handle on my front door on a freezing cold, Sunday, January morning at about 9am. Rado replied almost instantly and started a dialogue with me via the Homestars site. He asked for details about what was wrong, then asked me to send him pics of the door mechanism and handle. Within minutes, he was able to assess online what was wrong and what needed to be done. He gave me a quote for what it would cost for the service call and labour and after agreeing, we arranged for a mutual time that was convenient for both of us. Rado was able to come over a couple hours later (11:15am) and fix the problem in no time at all. He was sure to even text me beforehand to give me a heads up that he was on his way and let me know how soon it would be before he arrived. He went through explaining to me what was wrong and explained how the lock mechanism worked without being condescending or patronizing. While he said the latch inside could be replaced, he did not try to upsell me on the part or force me to buy it and said that it was still fine and in working order. All said and done, he was there when he said he would be and it took him about half an hour to fix the issue. The door works better than it did before and is much more smooth in terms of opening and closing and locking and unlocking it. Very pleased with the service and particularly Rado's professionalism and honesty. Will definitely use him again if ever an issue with our other doors pops up and would recommend him to others in a heartbeat.

Above and beyond what I expected! Radoslav contacted me right away and was very accommodating to fit me in as soon as possible. He was punctual and explained what was going on with my lock and fixed it so that it was even better than when it was first installed! Whoever the old installer was did a terrible job. Now my lock is basically brand new. He even adjusted the door handle which was sticking. Price was very reasonable too, less than expected actually. Great job! Definitely recommend!
