They pinpointed the exact problem with my Honda Accord ignition switch within seconds (literally). One hour later and the ignition switch was repaired without the need to change my original keys. The repair only cost me one-third or less of what I was quoted at my Honda dealership, and came with 1-year warranty which adds additional peace of mind. They also provided me with a second key cut and programmed for less than half the cost you pay at a Honda dealer. Very friendly and honest staff! They are experts at what they do. I am happy I had business with them. I believe anyone with car locksmith needs will not get disappointed to give them a call.

Fob quit working. Was one I got from here almost one year before. Went over at 5 pm. Was bit busy with a customer for 5 minutes or so. Checked FOB all working OK by bench test. But not on my ancient 2005 Buick. Problem was car was not handshake with FOB. Car was reset by his computer. All great and asked price... I wanted to make a spare key for my Honda Civic 2009. The dealers price was outrageous so I called around to get few prices. Few companies that I called had only a mobile service and wanted to come to me for an additional price. I found Direct Locksmith, a local company that had a shop for me to stop by. I stopped by the next day and whiting 10 minutes had a spare key for my car. The guys did a great job and also offered me a 10% discount for any future services that I might need. They told me that they also offer a mobile service in case you lost your keys, got locked out or just need your locks changed. Will definitely keep their number for the future.

I called Direct Locksmith a week ago to change my locks on my condo door. The schedule an appointment two days later, which was good for me, my situation was not emergent. They called a day ahead to confirm the appointment, but ended up having an earlier slot on the day of my appointment to fit me in. The locksmith came, and did an excellent job. He re-keyed both locks, and repaired my deadbolt which I haven't been able to use in a year. It works great now. I would definitely reuse them again in the future. Recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May 2017 had a motorcycle key cut for $15.00 and was all good. June 2017 needed the same key cut as a backup just in case I misplaced or lost it. Called the store and for the same key was quoted $25.00. Must be seasonal inflation. Went to my local locksmith (Benson Locksmith) and he matched up the key with an identical blank (note: non-chipped key), cut it in 2 minutes, paid $9.00 and then tested it on the motorcycle. PERFECT. Shop around and hopefully this store will be more reasonable on pricing. He is free to charge what he wishes, but why not be careful with your $$$.

I made an appointment for the following day with direct locksmith to get my truck key chip programed because i had my spare key stolen. they were very professional and quick to respond via phone. The next day they called to inform me of an emergency on thier end that they needed to reschedule my appointment but they were trying to do their best to ensure they stayed true to thier appointment they made with me prior. I appreciated the full disclosure and communication in working with me to find a time that would work for both parties. We ended up finding an earlier time that worked and confirmed with no issue. I was late but notified them and they were very understanding and ensured me that they were ready and waiting to get the job done for me. Once walking through the door someone was there to greet me immediately and ask me how they can help. One of the techs came out with me to truck and literally in less then 10 min the job was done and i have a spare key again working fully. I Would recommend this place to everyone. This was my first key programming experience and it was great. Direct locksmith has set the standard moving forward.

They made new keys using historic factory vehicle codes (which they had on record for a 1967 car - real pro's), they didn't use the old worn key as a template. These guys don't need my rating, they are well reviewed as is. Here are my 2 cents anyway.. I locked my key in the locked compartment of my scooter/motorcycle. The only way the compartment opens is if the ignition switch is turned. This was my only key and so I was stuck contemplating my options. Of course I contacted the Honda dealership to see if they could cut my key from the VIN, but not only do they not cut keys from the VINs for motorcycles/scooters, they actually discontinued making my specific type of key. The bike and the highly specific key that it uses was made for only two years, and they have since stopped supporting it. Of course they did. I called around a couple of other dealerships just to confirm and this did in fact seemed to be the case. My luck. Trying to tow it to a bike mechanic and have him try to break through the panels to gain access was one option. It was also complicated by the fact I left the bike off the roadway with steering locked in a tight corner so extricating the bike would be a nightmare and a half. The other option was to have a mobile mechanic come on site to the bike. But none out of the ones I called where willing to take on the task. As I mentioned the bike was only made in the 2 year of production, and so the mechanics I spoke with were unfamiliar with it. It would be difficult to estimate all the tools that would be needed and furthermore putting in work and potentially taking panels and parts off to gain access would not guarantee a desired outcome. Luckily one of the mechanics mentioned that one of the mobile locksmiths may be able to help. I made one or two dozen phone calls, and locksmiths were either unwilling to do it, unable to do it, or simply wanted two of my limbs in exchange (an arm and a leg). Finally when I spoke with direct locksmith Toronto they agreed to help, and although not cheap by any means they let me keep one of my limbs. I must also mention that it took 5 hours to get a locksmith out to the location but that's a small gripe given the headache (and money) they were saving me. The locksmith was able to cut a brand new key from scratch, just from fiddling (technical term) with the ignition lock on my bike in about 20 mins. In the end, I had myself a brand new functioning key that was able to unlock the storage compartment and start the bike and the locksmith requested I rated his services on Google maps right there in front of him. Talk about undue duress. Anyways, obviously I was free to change my rating after the locksmith left, but I didn't. In fact I wrote this whole novel. This should say something right? It says they provide good service (and that I need a hobby)!

First of all, thanks for everyone who rate them and leave comments, because based on that I choose to go to their shop. They were friendly, flexible and professional and didn't cost me an arm and a leg for a Mitsubishi key shell and cutting the blade. I didn't want to buy a key shell from Amazon because I red some reviews that were saying the shell is too tight and some of the people had to remove the panic button because was pressed down. But they tinkered the shell until all buttons worked correctly.

Lost my keys for a Toyota Sienna. The Toyota dealer wanted $75 for the key, anywhere from $300-$500 for the remote, and $75 for programming ($450-$650 total) plus have to book and time that may take a few hours to get done. These guys did it for $200 flat and was done in about 20 mins. Seriously why even bother calling the dealers? These are OEM parts but they work exactly the same as the originals. Thank you! .

The tech was nice and friendly and unlocked the door within 10 minutes. Then he turned around and said it would be $199! I never agreed to paying that much and compared it to other sites pricing at $15.99! It was late, sure, but had I known it would be so high (more than 5 times to service call price), I wouldve just called in the morning. They will rip you off!!

I've been having a difficult time finding a place that cuts motorcycle keys but after a friend who recently visited this shop to have his keys cut, I visited and had my keys cut in nearly 20 seconds. I recently went to another shop and wasted around 45 min because the service tech wasn't as experienced. 20 seconds vs 45 min (daytona motor sports). Wife lost one of the keyfobs to our Infiniti but luckily had a spare unprogrammed fob which direct locksmith was able to program in less than 15 mins. Just got my Mazda CX-9 chip replaced. I had a specific issue where I only needed a immobilizer chip and not the whole key so guys were able to only replace what I need without really overcharging for the whole key that I did not need. Bought 2 uncut keys on eBay for my 2005 Lexus RX 330 as the plastic shell broke. Lexus would not cut them as they were not OEM and they claimed that it "could damage" their laser cutting machine. BS is all I could say to myself. Found Direct Locksmith and they cut the keys in 10 minutes and they both work just fine in my vehicle and it was done for a good price.
