All my problems went away when I heard my engine running. I am not the type of person to give any company a 5 star rating , but in this case pop A Lock deserves it. The technician was knowledgeable ,and managed to program my key as i had lost my original key. Before you take in your car to the dealer, give pop a lock a call.

I had called Pop-A-Lock Thursday evening because I snapped my key, and needed a replacement immediately(I was locked out of my car and unable to drive) I got a quote from a dealer, key cut & 2 HOURS LABOUR TO PROGRAM MY KEY! Unbelievable. Due to Pop-A-Locks busy schedule he was unable to help me at that current time, but Pop-A-Lock assured me I could get the key cut for $50 myself and program the key in literally 2 seconds. He walked me through the steps & it was done instantaneously. There was no bill, he didn't make a penny off me. He gave me advice and helped me when I was in a pickle. I can't thank you enough. Family friend lost her keys to an old KIA. We called dealerships and they said it was a special order as they didn't have that key in stock and it would take a few days. I called these guys and Brent said that they could do it and coached me through using my CAA plus membership to save on km and get a 100 discount. They travelled over an hour. And cut, then programmed two keys for her. First thing in the morning. These guys are locksmiths and are professional, the amount they charged was reasonable and about the same as what it would have cost at a dealership only in 1/4 the time.

After having my car serviced at Canadian Tire, my keys would not fit in the ignition (I should mention that Canadian Tire may not be responsible for this; it could be coincidence....umm I guess)..Anyway, Brent spoke to me as he trouble shooted the issue and advised me of what he was doing. He then advised that I go do anything I had to get done for that day and he would call me when finished. ( I also have to mention that this was one of the coldest days of the year - Brent still worked on my car!!! Wow! ). He called me when he was finished - he fixed a pile of things that were completely messed up with my ignition. Price he charged was great! Also, the "check engine" light came on a couple of days later (not his problem - but I called him because I didn't know)...Brent came right over and ran a diagnostic for FREE!!!! Great person and great service and I highly recommend him! Thank you ????

Returned from vacation only to realize I had misplaced my key while there. I used CAA to get my car towed from the airport to my home dealership where Pop-A-Lock was contacted by CAA to try to get in to my car as the dealer were closed. Despite the last minute late night notice Pop-A-Lock went to my car to attempt to make a key on site to get in & start my car. Unfortunately due to the model & make of my vehicle they WERE able to get inside my car so I could collect my belongings but we’re unable to start. This company is amazing ! I haven’t actually had to use their services yet but am already super impressed. I locked my keys in my car. Called them. The gentleman was super kind and understanding. Said he was tied up with a few calls that morning but would be to me ASAP by noon. I ended up not needing them but he was just so understanding and kind, that it eased me and was super old. Even when I said I ended up not needing them. His wife (family business) even offered their services if I need them in the future or a spare key made. These people/company are kind and truly put their customers first !

Called them after swapping out the ignition lock in my brothers car and tripped the anti theft immobilizer as the key wasnt recognized. They came out very fast and cut me a couple extra keys, programmed the old and new ones, and even offered me the CAA discount. He was very knowledgeable, worked fast, and was extremely professional. I honestly would recommend them to anyone. I am beyond happy with the service I received today!

Brent is a real professional. Cordial, informative, and of course incredibly helpful. My Honda Civic would not start as the key would not turn in the ignition. Within 45 minutes(roughly), Brent had removed my entire ignition mechanism from my vehicle, repaired the damaged pins preventing the key from turning, and also cut me a replacement key free of charge as my old one had some wear and tear on it. All in all, very happy with the service I received and any lock related issues I have will almost certainly be brought to Brent's attention. As a side note, I was pleasantly surprised a new key was even able to be made. I was under the impression that a new Honda key would have to come from Honda(due to the chip in the key) but it was no issue at all.
