We called Silverline and instead of trying to sell us something, the person on the phone suggested we simply try spraying the keyhole with silicone spray. It worked perfectly! I have been going to Silverline for years as they are close to my home. On my most recent visit, I was handed a truckload of arrogance and an overinflated price ($15 for a single basic key). I went down the street to a competitor and received my key for $4.89 plus tax. Looks like Silverline is changing for the worse as the community grows around them. They have lost my business.

He arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after. He explained everything I needed to know about the new locks and made sure I was comfortable using them. I was pleasantly surprised at the total cost of all the work he did. I highly recommend them.

I went to Silver Line Locksmith to get keys copied of my condo's main door, and of my suite door. The key did not have "Do Not Duplicate" on it; however, with proper identification and proof of ownership of my suite (including land title and property assessment in my name), they would not copy my keys. I was not provided with a reason, but just told "No, I cannot make you a key". I will hopefully not have tot go back here as I did NOT get my keys cut, and for no apparent reason, and I found them rude in their business manner.

I rarely write reviews but Silverline deserves my tkme to do so. I walked into silverline after the positive reviews on here and this place surpassed all expectations. The staff first taught me different alternatives to securing the gaeage entrance door with external hinges, and gave me some information on the Abloys locks. Later I came back to purchase two Abloy deadbolts and the staff (shout out to Cliff) was extremey informative about the pros and cons about the deadbolts. The after sale service was the most impressive aspect. During installation of said deadbolts, there was a misunderstanding which left them unable to be opened with keys due to a disgarded part. Not only were the staff very proactive in looking for the missing parts for me, they were very reassuring the whole way and as a customer this is top notch professionalism. I cannot commend this place enough, of yo come here for security you will not be disappointed.

HONEST & PROFESSIONAL I engaged Silverline's services because our main entry door was not closing properly. Their technician Sterling was upfront with me, citing his observation that the cause was a misaligned door frame, which will require the services of a framer. Though he did a bit of work trying to see if there can be some improvement, in the end it was of no avail. Silverline's manager Duncan phoned me later and said that I won't be billed at all since my problem was not solved. I expressed my sincere appreciation for such unexpected gracious gesture. This is a hallmark of business INTEGRITY and PROFESSIONALISM, worthy of an unqualified commendation. Silverline will certainly be top of mind when I need locksmith security services in the future. I brought in with blank key that I’ve got from ebay. They charged me 56$ and took half an hour for key cutting. As a result? The key is not working as the width is not fit. I brought it again and they says that is not their responsbility. So I took it at home, grind it for 10 min on a wall and it works! What a simple job it is! They didn’t do even these kind of simple job. What they do is just put the blank key on a machine and push buttons, without checking the withd or any measure, nor doesn’t say anything regarding size of blank key! NOT recommand if you expect ‘professional’ or ‘responsbility’ job

Wow - unheard of service! Phoned to see if they could rekey my house doors and install several locked internal doors. They arrived within the hour, explained several different options and also informed me that several locks where now against code and how that could be fixed. I had purchased a backpack online that came with a combination lock that could not be opened. Thanks to the knowledgeable, friendly service at Silverline they quickly figured out the code and opened the lock for me! What a relief as it would have cost me $20 or more for a new lock! In the reducing selection of locksmiths, these guys are EXCELLENT ! Ray, Duncan and Alex are professional, helpful and funny. I had a weird lock problem and they SOLVED it for $25. The option was to buy a new handle and lock unit, at a cost of $550 ! (plus now I've got a "go to" locksmith fairly close to my home.

We had all exterior locks of our house rekeyed. Great advice on which ones were the most crucial to have done. The technician coordinated key head shapes so we could easily identify the keys! That was a nice touch indeed. Their price is pretty much on par with a couple other places we called but these guys' options are tailored better so you don't have to pay for what you don't need. Highly recommend.
